A/N: I AM SO SORRY FOR TAKING SO LONG TO UPDATE! Let me tell you why it took so long, so my mom's laptop, the one I use Microsoft Office on caught on fire! I am not kidding. She was sitting in the living room with me one day and we saw a bunch of smoke and then fire! I am currently using the computers at school to do this, because it is the only way I would be able to update. I feel terrible for not updating in so long. So here it is.

Aria and Ezra sat in front of the tv on Sunday morning. The news was on in the background while Aria lay in Ezra's lap and he traced his fingers along her arms. Ever since Aria told Ezra that she might be in love with him, everything was different, but in a good way.

"Ezra, can I tell you something?"

"Anything."

"I don't really know how to say this. It is a little awkward." Aria said while she sat in the driver's seat of Ezra's car.

"Just come out with it. If it is extremely awkward, we can just forget about it and pretend that nothing happened." Ezra was hoping Aria would say that she was in love with him, because he was in love with her too.

"I like you. Wow, that sounds really childish… But it is true. I like you, a lot. I don't know why. I don't know when I started liking you, it just overpowered me, I guess, and I had to come out with it… But I like you a lot and I hope you like me too, but you probably don't which makes this entire thing even more awkward." Aria spit out as she pulled into Ezra's parking spot.

"Aria, that's not awkward. I like you too. I may even…"

"You may even what?"

"I may even be in love with you." Aria stared at Ezra with her eyes wide open. "Aria? Are you okay?"

Aria didn't answer, she didn't think it was possible to reply. Here she was in the car with her daughter and her teacher. The same teacher that she had a huge crush on, and he just said he loved her. What would a normal person do?

"Aria?" Ezra sighed, "I shouldn't have said that I was in love with you. I really shouldn't have. You're my student, I mean, were. Were? Are? I don't know. But I just don't know if this is right."

"Ezra, we're not exactly typical. I am your student and I'm living with you. Not very typical for a high schooler if you ask me. I know how you feel, I feel the same way."

"Really?! I mean, really?"

Aria leaned over the middle console and kissed Ezra's cheek.

"What was that for?" Ezra asked with a smirk on his face.

"You know what it is for." Aria said as she leaned in again, only to be caught suddenly by Ezra's lips. They were there for a good two seconds before Ezra was swept out of the bliss by a honking horn.

"Ezra, can I ask you something?" Aria asked as she attempted to look up at Ezra while her head.

"You know you can say anything to me, you can trust me. I promise." The man then kissed the top of the girl's head.

"Well, it isn't really a personal question for me. I guess it is sort of personal for you, but I don't know. How many serious relationships have you been in?"

"Just one, her name was Jackie. Ancient history. I don't want to talk about her. She is a train wreck."

Aria was surprised by Ezra's harshness. Even though she had only been living with him for around two weeks, she never would have thought he could be harsh. She thought maybe she was overreacting, until she looked up at Ezra and saw his face with flaming. What made Ezra get so angry? What did Jackie do to him to make him like this when her name was brought up? Aria knew that Ezra wouldn't tell her, but she was determined to find out.

Aria was jolted out of her sleep when her phone was ringing louder than normal. That ringtone was familiar, it belonged to Ella. Aria stood up from the bed, and was careful not to wake Ezra up. The clock read 2:47 A.M.

"Hello? Mom? What is it?" Aria said in between yawns.

"Aria! They took him! They took Tom away from me!" Ella screamed into the phone causing Aria to fully wake up.

"Well Mom-"

Ella cut off her daughter, "Aria! I don't give a shit about your whole feud with him. It isn't my fault that you seduced him. It isn't my fucking fault that you were a whore and got yourself pregnant. The only thing I am concerned with is that you are more than likely behind the fact that my husband was taken away from me at two in the morning by the police. I know you and your fucking teacher are behind it. Who would let his student stay with him if it wasn't for a perverted reason? You are a whore, Aria! You will always be a fucking whore that got herself fucking pregnant by her step-dad."

"ELLA! I don't give a shit what you have to say about me. What you think happened between your disgusting husband. Ezra isn't some pervert. If you are going to call anyone a pervert, call your damn husband! DON'T CALL ME EVER AGAIN! I AM DONE WITH YOU AND ALL OF YOUR BULLSHIT! I AM COMPLETELY ONE HUNDRED PERCENT DONE WITH YOU! YOU KNOW IF DAD WAS STILL-"

"ARIA! DON'T YOU DARE FINISH THAT DAMN SENTENCE WITH ALIVE! I CAN'T HELP THE FACT THAT YOUR FATHER WAS KILLED! I. CAN'T. DO. ANYTHING. ABOUT. IT. SO DON'T YOU DARE SAY ANYTHING ABOUT HIM OR ME!"

Aria then heard the phone being slammed down on the table. The call was over. She was disgusted. How could her own mother have said anything like that to her. It wasn't her fault that Thomas couldn't control his urges and that he raped her multiple times. How could a mother love and nurture her daughter for seventeen years and then just turn her back on her when things got rough?

"Aria?" Ezra woke up to the sounds of both Aria and Amelia crying. Of course, Amelia was crying about her diaper and she was visible. "Aria, where are you?" The man stood up and walked toward the direction he thought Aria was in. As he got closer to his desk, the sobs were louder. "Honey are you okay?"

Ezra sat down next to Aria and wrapped his arms around her. She buried her head in his chest and cried louder and harder. Pretty soon, one spot on his shirt was completely soaked through.

"Aria, what happened?" Aria just shook her head, "Babe, you can tell me anything. You know that right? I love you. You are one of the most important things in my life. Please talk to me."

"Well, my mom called me, screaming. She said that the police came and arrested Thomas. She then went on to tell me that it was my fault and my fault alone that I got pregnant. That I seduced Thomas into sleeping with me. How does a mother just turn her back on her daughter?"

"Oh my God, Aria. I am so sorry! I didn't expect it to be that. What can I do for you?"

"Can you just hold me? I just need someone to comfort me. Not in the sexual way, just in the I need someone right now. You're the only one that is here and able to."

"Aria, anything." The couple moved from the floor to the couch. Ezra quickly changed Amelia's diaper and gave her a bottle and she was asleep within minutes.

"Ezra, I just don't understand. I don't understand why any of this is happening to me. I don't know what I did to deserve this. What did I do to deserve my dad being killed, and me being raped by my step-dad? What did I do to deserve my mom turning her back on me? I just don't understand at all."

"You didn't do anything, Aria. Some people in this world are just disgusting and wrong. You didn't do anything. I promise you this."

They then sat there until Aria fell asleep around 5:30 and then Ezra stood up and got Aria a blanket and put it on her. He went outside and walked around the block a few times. When he got back to his apartment, the newspaper was lying on his mat. He picked it up and right there on the cover was Thomas being pulled away by three cops. The headline said 'Rosewood Man Arrested For Rape,' Ezra knew it was better not to bring it into the apartment. When the man walked into the tiny apartment, Aria was sitting by the counter with a mug of coffee and another newspaper in her hands.

"Aria, where did you get that?"

"The newsboy put two on the mat I guess. Did you read this? It says that Thomas said the allegations were absurd and made up to ruin his life. ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? Why would I lie about something this serious? This is so unfair."

"Just stop reading it. Reading it will only make you more mad. Just give it to me."

Aria's phone then rang again. She read the caller ID and saw that it was Rosewood Police.

"Hello?"

"Hi, Miss. Montgomery? This is Detective Wilden at Rosewood Police Department. I was calling to tell you that there has been a date set for a trial. It will be April 23rd at 9:30 AM. Be sure to be there prompt and ready to be put on the stand. That is all goodbye."

Aria put the phone down and said, "There's a trial."

Ezra ran up to Aria and kissed her. The kissing slowly became more passionate until Aria pulled apart and stared at the bed.

"Are you sure? Aria, I don't want to rush you into something that you're not ready for."

"I have never been more sure of anything in my life."
