Nothing could stop the shock coursing through Shuichi's veins. Here was his longtime lover, Yuki. kneeling down on his right knee and holding up a velvet box containing a gold band inside of it. For the first time in such a long time, the look of love could be located in the author's eyes. The pinkette had tears streaming down his face. Not because of the shock from the proposal, but because he finally knew exactly how Yuki feels about him.

Lifting his gloved right hand, he felt the fabric rub against his eyes, wiping the liquid of his eyes. He looked at Yuki's golden eyes with his own amethyst. Letting out a heartfelt smile, he nodded. He didn't have to get a verbal response. Shuichi instead leaned down from the stool and leaned towards Yuki. He wrapped his bare arms around his neck, pressing his face in his chest. Yuki had wrapped his arms around the singer's waist. The velvet box pressed against Shuichi's side. closing the top of it with a loud snap. He can put it on later.

The audience let out a loud cheer when Shuichi gave his answer. Hiro and Fujisaki were applauding as well. K held a smirk on his face as Sakano fainted from the sight of it. Misaki and Usagi . . .well . . . let's just say they left five minutes ago.

Shuichi eventually pulled his head back from the hug and looked up at Yuki. Yuki smiled down at his lover for a second, slowly moving his mouth to Shuichi's ear and whispering. "Let me prove my love for you." The tone of his voice had a husk to it. Shuichi's cheeks begin to tint pink. All the singer could do is slowly stand up with his lover and follow behind him, hand in hand off the stage.

The sound of the front door slamming could be heard echoing through the spacious condo. Too bad the inhabitants were already lip locking at the front door. Misaki's back felt all of Usagi's body weight pressing him to the wooden door. The feeling of his lover's big, cold hands was all over the front of his bare chest. Misaki's arms were wrapped around Usagi's neck, showing no signs of release anytime soon.

Usagi was the first one to pull back from the kiss. Both his and Misaki's face were flushed, and he could hear himself panting more loudly than Misaki. The author pressed his forehead onto his lover's shoulders. He let out a loud exhale of breath. "Misaki . . ."

Misaki looked over his shoulder, gazing at the silver hair tickling his neck. He moved his left hand, which was over his right, and gently began to pet Usagi's hair. He kept silent, continuing to pet Usagi's hair. He had no choice but to stop when Usagi lifted his head. He gazed his purple eyes down at the emerald ones. "The song . . .it was the most beautiful thing I've heard in such a long time."

Misaki widened his eyes. "Usagi-San . . ."

Usagi let out a chuckle. "I know you can't express yourself so easily, but nothing can express how touched I am that you went through such great lengths to express your love for me. Thank you Misaki." He pressed his head back on the brunette's shoulder.

Misaki just stood there, feeling his lover cuddle with him instead of moles- . . .loving him up like he would normally do in this situation. Something was wrong. Though Usagi is extremely happy with his love confession; Misaki was not. Why? Why wasn't he happy with the confession?

'Because it truly wasn't my confession.' Misaki thought. Yes, most of the words were his but Shuichi helped influenced to have the lyrics match the music. So in the long run, the confession wasn't truly his. The song could be considered a love confession from both Shuichi and Misaki toward their lovers. He had to do something about that.

On a beautiful Sunday afternoon, Shuichi was making his way towards the park. The park was only a few blocks from his apartment so it wasn't much of a hassle to walk. He wore a Nittle Grasper T-shirt with black shorts. His sneakers came to a stop when he spotted the person that requested to see him in such a such a short time.

He continued down the stone path for a few more steps before stepping into the grass, where the shade was separated from the sun thanks to the influence from a large tree. Standing with his back against the bark was MIsaki. Shuichi looked at his friend through his sun glasses. It was a long shot but he was guessing that something was really bothering him.

When Misaki called him yesterday morning, begging Shuichi to hang out with him on Sunday; Shuichi suspected that he just wanted to hang with him as a friend, but that wasn't the case. Though exhausted from the concert and all night love making with Yuki, Shuichi agreed, not wanting to disappoint his friend.

Yuki tried to get talk him out of it, but he didn't listen to his lover. For once, he was glad that he didn't.

Approaching from behind Misaki, Shuchi popped into his range of sight. "Misaki!"

Misaki jolted from shock and looked at the singer. He let out a sad smile. "Shuichi-Sama. Thank you for coming." His voice had a sad tone to it.

Shuichi's smile wiped off his face at the tone. "Misaki, what's wrong?" Shuichi asked, kneeling in front of Misaki. It was a signal that Shuichi wanted to relax so Misaki sat down as well, pressing his white sweatshirt towards the back of the tree. He was wearing a sweatshirt in summer. That wasn't normal.

Misaki looked down at his blue jeaned legs. He was quiet for a minute before speaking up. "I wasn't sure who to talk to with this." He paused for a second. "Usagi-San was happy with the song. I was glad to see a smile on his face, but somehow . . .I wasn't feeling the same."

Shuichi blinked. "Why?'

Misaki looked up at him. "The song wasn't truly a confession from me. Though most of the lyrics were my thoughts, you heavily influenced them to match the music. So I think the song is a love confession from both of us to our lovers."

Shuichi listened carefully to what he said. Putting much thought into it, Misaki was right. He didn't change the lyrics around when they worked on the song so not all of Misaki's feelings were in there, but most of it. According to Misaki, it wasn't enough. Letting out a sigh, Shuichi said. "Too bad that you can't be as blunt with your feelings like your character."

Misaki sighed. "Yeah. . . " It took him a full minute to realize what his idol had just said. His entire face went red. "H-How did you know?"

"That the characters from my favorite yaoi are based off you and Usami-Sensei? A few days ago." Shuichi confessed. "I thought it was just a coincident that both of you have the same names as them, but after hanging with you for awhile and examining your behaviors together, I am confident that the characters are based off you. It might be a long run, but I think Usami-Sensei writes them under an alias."

Based off the look Misaki's shocked face, Shuichi knew he was right. The singer let out a laugh. To calm his nerves, Shuichi spoke back up. "Don't worry. He doesn't write anything bad about you. In fact, he writes your personality spot on to your counterpart. However, the only difference is that your character is much more blunt about his feelings. He's not shy to speak them. In fact, he says 'I love you' when ever he gets the chance to his lover. I think what might make you feel better is if you practice to become more blunt like your character counterpart."

Misaki widened his eyes in amazement. Shuichi was a lot smarter than he let people believe him to be. "You think it's possible for me to speak my mind so easily with practice?"

Shuichi nodded. "Believe it or not, I was just like you in high school. I would get embarrassed about the very topic of sex. I always had a red face in health class. My other classmates would call me 'tomato head'." He laughed at the memories. His laugh made Misaki smile brightly for the first time that day.

"I don't recall being picked on that much in high school." Misaki said with a chuckle.

Shuichi let out a pout. "Lucky." He mumbled under his breath. The pout was soon replaced with a smile. "Didn't you say before that you had told him that you loved him once in a ferris wheel?"

Misaki blinked for a second, nodding his head. "It was a long time ago though. I said it because we were both under a lot of stress but I knew that I could relieve his stress by saying 'I . . .I . . "

Shuichi waved his hand. "I get it. So you were under pressure. If you don't mind me asking, what happened at that time that made you confess?"

Misaki looked down at the ground. "During the beginning of our relationship, Usagi-San was always . . . .very direct about his feelings towards me. I wasn't used to such affections that I would always push him away but that didn't stop him until that night. After a school festival, I went to hang out at my Sempai's house for a small celebration, just the two of us. Sempai was always affectionate with me and it made Usagi-San think that Sempai was going take me away from him. While in reality, Sempai wanted to take Usagi-San away from me." Shuichi widened his eyes, allowing Misaki to continue. "I passed out drunk at Sempai's house and Sempai called Usagi-San. Usagi-San came to pick me up but Sempai confronted him and confessed his love for Usagi-San. I was awake at this point, and I heard Sempai tell Usagi-San that he was pushing his feelings to him because Usagi-San forced the same with me."

Shuichi spoke up. "What did you do?"

"I stopped Sempai from taking Usagi-San. In a fit of rage, I told him that I wouldn't allow anyone have Usagi-San; that . . he was mine." Misaki looked back up Shuichi. "Though he heard me say that, Sempai's words stuck in Usagi-San's mind for a long time. It weighed his mind so much that he told me that it would be better if I moved out of his apartment because he was afraid that I would eventually hate him for pushing his feelings towards me. I reassured him by saying I . . .love him" His cheeks tinted at the last two words.

Shuichi let out a nod. "I know you love him very deeply Misaki. How much though?"

Misaki's sadden face turned red. He looked away in embarrassment. He couldn't say it.

Shuichi put his hand on his friend's shoulder, watching the brunette looking back at him. "Misaki, if you can't tell me, then how will you ever have the courage to tell him? This weight in your chest will not go away unless you tell him."

Misaki let out a nod. He opened his mouth to speak. "I-I . . .. w-want . . t-to b-be . . t-the same as . . .y-you are . . w-with . . . Y-Yuki-San." He stuttered out like an idiot.

Shuichi widened his eyes, withdrawing his hand from the shoulder. "You . . .want to marry him?"

Misaki nodded. "I-I . . . l-like . . .to . . t-think . . w-we could . . .b-be . .t-together forever . . i-if . .w-we got . . .m-married."

Shuichi made a serious look on his face now. "Misaki . . .you are going to tell him and this is how. When you go home today, make a senario in your mind that your sempai is coming back for Usami-Sensei. And today is the last chance to confess your true feelings for him before something bad happens for your relationship."

Misaki blinked. "Really?"

Shuichi nodded. "Yes. According from what I'm hearing from you, you confess when you are under pressure. Put yourself in a situation that you are under pressure. I guarantee that you won't be able to keep your mouth shut for long."

Misaki let out a nod. "I hope you're right."

Misaki opened the door, yelling. "Tadaima!" He looked in the living room to see Usagi fixing a blue tie. He was wearing a black tuxedo.

The author looked back at his lover. "Okari." He mumbled sorely, walking around the couch to pick up his cigarettes.

"A-Are you going to work, Usagi-San?" Misaki asked nervously.

Usagi sighed. "Yeah. I'm leaving in a minute. Aikawa-San is hailing a cab now. I'll be gone for a few hours but you'll have to have lunch alone."

Misaki widened his eyes. He spent all the time from the walk home thinking of the scenario that Shuichi-Sama told him, and now here is Usagi-San telling him that he's going to work so his paredness was getting the better of him. He opened his mouth to say something, but the beeping from the intercom interrupted him. It flashed a certain red head. "The taxi is ready Sensei."

"I'm coming." Usagi replied, pressing the screen to turn off. He turned back to look at his lover. "I'll be back later Misaki." He was making his way to the door, his back turned to his lover.

"Usagi-San!" Misaki yelled. "I need to tell you something!"

Usagi stopped in his tracks, turning his head to look back at Misaki. Seeing he got his attention, Misaki began to speak up with a blush on his face. "I . . .I . . I . . "

Letting out a sigh, Usagi turned back around. "Misaki . . .I really hav-"

"I LOVE YOU!" The yell from the younger man interrupted the author, making the amethyst eyes widen as he turned back around to look at Misaki for the second time. Misaki, at this point, was in tears. "I love you Usagi-San. I d-don't want anyone to take you from me. Not anyone, even my brother. I want us to be together forever." The tears were falling down his cheeks. He looked to the ground, not aware of his lover coming over towards him. "I want to have a relationship like Yuki-Sensei's and Shuichi-Sama's but only stronger and more powerful than theirs. I want-"

Misaki was interrupted by strong arms wrapping themselves around his body. Misaki looked up at Usagi, feeling lips press against his tears, licking them away. He had a blush on his face. "Misaki . . .nothing has made me more happy than you in my life. If you truly wish for a stronger relationship, marry me"
