I feel like kneeling and apologize for keeping you wonderful guys waiting for so long that I dare not to mention the time.

That and I'm too lazy to check.

I've been planning a rough draft for this story, specially the future arc (I hope I make it that far), despite the varia arc being completely blank. I'm also facing a MEGA exam this year end. To the Malaysians, you will know it as SPM.

This time I introduce you a new character who I have completely not mention in the previous one (To all you older readers you'll know the character was never mentioned), that is Tsuna's online friend. Ah, but of course I did plan to introduce Tsuna's friend then. Will play a major role in the future (I mean future chapter, not future future, maybe)

Try guessing who the friend is! Canon character, of course!

EDIT: EXPLANATION TIME!

Somebody told me it was weird how the reviews said chapter nine even though there's only three. That's because it DID have nine chapters, but I rewrote it because it was all too messed up.

Chapter 3: The Kendo Captain Who Started A Fight

Tsuna smiled slightly as he was walking under the sakura trees to school at a leisure pace. It was barely 7a.m., and school will not start until after an hour.

Getting up early gives you an advantage, you get to choose the best seat and walk to school with minimum people around you too.

The boy's phone beeped and he excitedly took it out. To his delight, it was a message from his only online friend.

Have you watched Psycho Pass*?!

Tuna27:

I heard there's gonna be a season 2. It's not out yet though.

Ao_no_Usagi:

The rebroadcast of season 1! Duh.

Tuna27:

Ah, not yet. I don't really have much time. Maybe this weekend.

Ao _no_Usagi:

It's really awesome and it messes your mind up.

Ao_no_Usagi:

You'll be clawing your head and questioning the morale you were taught, they say.

Tuna27:

That sounds great.

Chatting with his online friend was just so much easier than meeting or even looking at real people who wasn't your mother.

That, Tsuna knew full well.

Tsuna swallowed down his nervousness as he looked at the door of 1-A class. It was after all, a new start.

The brunette's grip on his mini Miku* figuring inside his pocket tightened. He tried to reassure himself it was just school, it will be more or less the same as kindergarten and elementary school; he would be alone by himself and nobody would give a damn.

*Miku: Hatsune Miku is one of the most popular Vocaloid.

Tsuna meekly slid the door opened and cheered when he found out there was indeed, the seat he wanted. That and there were only a few students in the classroom who did not notice his entrance.

The boy set down his bags, claiming the seat at the back if the corner beside the window as his. He looked around and saw some familiar faces from elementary school but no names came to mind.

Deciding to randomly draw a textbook to decide what he should study, Tsuna groaned when he saw his most hated subject, Social Studies.

He had heard the lessons in middle school (Especially junior high) were brutal and he could not afford to relax.

It was relatively quiet, there wasn't much chatting among the students since they were still strangers.

Eventually, more and more students walked into the classroom. But Tsuna paid no heed to them and continued on with studying, occasionally glancing at his Miku figurine once in a while to calm his nerves.

The sliding door broke the silence momentarily, but whispers soon followed it a few moments later.

"Cute."

"Dude, I saw her first!"

It was a bubbly girl with short orange-hair with another girl with shoulder-length her behind her, with the former being the center of attention now.

"I'm glad we're in the same class, Hana-chan." The girl deemed to be cute by the guys grinned.

Her friend gave a calmer smile. "Yeah. I thought we're going to be lat-"

"STAY EXTREME, KYOKO, HANA!" A roar rang throughout the whole place, grabbing everyone's attention, including Tsuna's.

'Huh- what?' Tsuna looked up and saw everybody wondering who the heck would be shouting so early in the morning as well.

The two girls covered their faces in embarrassment.

"Nii-chan…" The orange-haired girl, Kyoko, murmured.

Hana sighed. "That noisy monkey."

For some reason, Kyoko decided to take the seat beside Tsuna, which the latter had hoped to be empty for the sake of his nerves.

"Hi! I'm Kyoko!" Kyoko greeted Tsuna and waved.

Tsuna looked around before realizing she was indeed, talking to him.

"A-ah. I-I'm T-Tsuna…" He lowered his head and turned back to his book, hoping that he would cover his burning face.

Hearing Kyoko's giggle made him felt even more self-conscious than ever before.

Though Tsuna was too distracted by the girl beside him to notice the glare he was receiving from the nearby boys.

'Lucky bastard!' It was like their thoughts were synchronized.

The door slid open. A tall male with messy raven hair peeked into the classroom.

"Lucky! I'm on time!" He laughed in relief.

The laughter had caught Tsuna's attention.

'Yamamoto…?' Tsuna had hardly seen his previous friend, ever since the latter had joined the baseball club.

The brunette was relieved to have someone he actually knew in the same classroom as him, but he quickly returned to his book when he was about to meet Yamamoto's eyes.

What an awkward start to school.

A week later

Tsuna had more or less grown accustomed to the new environment.

Of course, he was still friendless, but he didn't mind about that much.

He went into a daze as he mentally sort of the time for his homework for today and for watching the next episode of *Mekaku City Actors.

*Mekaku City Actors: An animation of the hit song and novel, Kagepro project.

Tsuna snapped out of it when he realized the math teacher, Nezu-sensei, was scolding Yamamoto.

"Don't talk while I'm teaching!"

"Hahaha, sorry! Sorry! Won't happen again!"

How Yamamoto managed to laugh it off made Nezu-sensei even madder.

"If you think it's that funny, answer this question then!" He pointed to a ridiculously long but simple question.

Yamamoto's grin faltered and he furrowed his eyebrows. His friends sitting near him tried solving the question for him but they didn't know how as well.

"… Ah, is it… two over three…?" Yamamoto guessed. An answer was better than none, right?

Nezu-sensei was about to tell him off before he realized something. "That's right." He was in total disbelief.

The students cheered and congratulated Yamamoto.

"There better not be a next time, Yamamoto."

"Yes, Nezu-sensei!"

Though Tsuna felt like rolling his eyes at how the students couldn't solve such a simple question, he was amazed by Yamamoto's incredible luck.

Tsuna saw the new student rolling his eyes at Yamamoto. When the new student caught Tsuna's eyes, he glared daggers at the brunette.

'What did I ever do to him…?' Tsuna thought to himself. It was a bit scary, having a complete stranger hating you and always looking like he was trying to come up with plans to kill you.

Yesterday

"We have a new student here." Nezu-sensei gestured to the door.

Whispers of curiosity and gossips broke out among the students.

"I heard that he's a yankee."

"Maybe an ex-murderer."

"This classroom is too small for another student."

"I want a cute girl!"

"Ah, but nobody can be cuter than Kyoko-chan."

The sliding door silenced every one of their words promptly.

The new student was revealed to be a boy – to some of the male's disappointment – and appeared to be a rebel, with his hair bleached silver and untidy clothing.

It was surprising that the rumored crazy school prefect hadn't flipped the entire school upside down to beat the newcomer.

Tsuna scoffed. 'Typical punk. He's probably picks fights with the protagonist of a manga.'

"I'm Gokudera Hayato." He shortly introduced himself.

"Gokudera, take your seat- hey, I'm talking to you!" Nezu-sensei scolded, but it wasn't enough to stop the silver-head from going to the back.

'Is he coming towards here?' Tsuna wondered.

When the new student got closer towards Tsuna, the latter panicked since all eyes were on him.

Without warning, Gokudera had given the brunette's table a hard kick.

The thoughts the passed through Tsuna's mind was that he had hidden that week's series of *Shonen Jump in his drawer. If one were to saw it, it would definitely get to the prefect's or the teacher's ear and his stuff would get confiscated.

*Shonen Jump: A weekly manga magazine

Out of reflex that the brunette himself didn't know he had in the first place, he grabbed the end of the table, put it back in place and saved his stuff from falling onto the ground.

Tsuna was relieved that he managed to save his stuff. He glared at Gokudera, as if daring him to do that again.

Everyone was surprised with the event that just unfolded before them, but they were still surprised at Gokudera's behavior, rather than Tsuna's.

Gokudera gathered himself up and glared at Tsuna before leaving to take the empty seat near the front.

If Gokudera's looks didn't appeal to the girls, his bad boy attitude most certainly did.

Present

Tsuna looked at the words-filled blackboard.

'How boring. I just want to go home and watch anime already.' Tsuna had already studied the topic before-hand.

He started poking his Pikachu* eraser inside his pencil case. A small smile made way to his face.

Pikachu: So famous it's practically the mascot of Pokemon or Japan.

But Tsuna accidentally poked it too hard and it fell out of the case and onto the ground.

Before he could panic or anything, Kyoko, who was sitting beside him, picked up the eraser.

"How cute." Kyoko smiled. She flushed slightly when she saw Tsuna's eyes.

Kyoko handed the eraser to Tsuna. "Sorry."

Tsuna lowered his head in embarrassment and clumsily accepted it with a quiet "T-thanks."

"Ah, is that a Pi… Pichu?" Kyoko asked. "I remember seeing it sometimes on TV."

Tsuna replied, "N-no… It's a P-Pikachu. P-Pichu is i-its pre-evolution."

"Hey, the brunette talking there!" Nezu-sensei's voice boomed the whole class.

'M-me?' Colour was drained from Tsuna's face.

"Answer this question here!" The teacher ordered.

Tsuna was feeling sick at first, being the center of attention for twice in a row was too much for him to stomach.

But then again, he was pretty confident if the question was mathematics.

His eyes ran through the equation and quickly did a mental calculation.

"X equals to 2, Y equals to one over two." Unusual confidence was heard in his answer.

Nezu-sensei was surprised that the clumsy brunette got it right.

"Right." He scratched the back of his neck. "Sit down… Uh…" He realized he didn't know the student's name.

That's when everyone realized they didn't know Tsuna's name either until Yamamoto spoke up.

"Nice job, Tsuna!" Yamamoto cheered and gave Tsuna a thumbs-up.

"Oh…"

"So that's his name."

Tsuna quickly took his seat and hid behind his books once again, hiding his red face.

"Sorry, Tsuna-kun." Kyoko's sincere eyes only made the brunette feel more uncomfortable.

"I-it's okay."

Kyoko hastily reached her hand for Tsuna's and grabbed it. "Here, your eraser." She smiled as she put the eraser into his hand.

Tsuna flushed bright red. "N-no." He quickly pulled back Kyoko's hand. "Y-you can ha-have it." He gave the mini Pikachu eraser to the girl.

"Really?"

"Yes."

"Uwah! Tsuna's touching Kyoko-chan!" Somebody whispered.

Realizing he was still holding Kyoko's hands, Tsuna quickly pulled back his arms in shame. "I-I'm s-s-sor-"

Kyoko giggled, to the others' jealousy. "It's fine!" She looked at the well-kept Pikachu eraser. "Are you really sure about giving this eraser to me though?"

"I-I still have a-another one at home."

Tsuna didn't know quite what happened to him; giving stuff to strangers who just made you feel strangely happy and uncomfortable.

"Mochida-senpai! Mochida-senpai!" A boy called out to the kendo captain. He rushed to his side.

"What?" Mochida was polishing his kendo armor, despite being in the classroom. But it was break time, so he could do whatever he want. "Oh, it's you, Tsubaki."

Tsubaki panted to get back his air before speaking. "Some guy flirted with Kyoko-chan a few days ago."

That simple sentence managed to get Mochida's blood pumping increase by ten-fold.

"WHAT!"

Everyone in the classroom back away at his shouting. Most have already heard of his violent and ill temper. His strength as the kendo captain certainly didn't make it any better.

"I-I heard it from her classmate…" Tsubaki said.

"Who the hell is he?!"

"Sawada Tsunayoshi from 1-A."

Tsubaki hid a grim smile with his hand as the kendo captain stomped out of the classroom.

"Ah, finally, lunch break!" A student cheered.

Another groaned. "Ugh, the teacher never stopped talking."

Tsuna ate his homemade lunch in silence alone at his table as he watched the students conversing with their friends.

Meanwhile, he was oblivious to the glaring silver head outside the classroom.

The oblivious brunette's attention along with the others' was pulled by the loud angry shouting outside the classroom.

"Where the hell is that damn guy?! I'm gonna rip his face off!"

A tall figure practically threw the door open. Students that were nearer to him immediately backed away after seeing his pissed off face.

"M-Mochida-senpai!" A much shorter boy in a kendo outfit popped out from behind the door. "D-don't make a scene!"

"Stay away from my business!" Mochida turned back and glared at the boy, making the latter shrunk back in fear.

"Where's this Sawada Tsunayoshi!?" He roared.

Tsuna gulped. He was sure he never did anything flashy or wronged anyone. So he prayed that his classmates would stay quiet for once for his sake.

Too bad for Tsuna, people pointed to him when Mochida raised a threatening fist.

"You sure have guts." Mochida walked over to Tsuna with a frustrated frown.

Mochida pulled Tsuna up roughly by his collar single-handedly with ease. "What's your deal, huh?! Think you can flirt with Kyoko-chan that easily?!"

Fear and confusion filled Tsuna, but it was mostly the former. "W-w-wha-what?"

"Kyoko-chan is mine, damnit!"

"S-she w-was the o-one who t-talked to me." Tsuna weakly defended.

The furious look on the taller male's face intestified. Mochida pulled back what looked like powerful-looking punch enough to knock you out till the next day.

Tsuna willed himself ready to get knocked out and was too scared to raise his arms to protect himself.

Tsuna had his eyes shut for a while. Confused that he was still conscious, he opened up his eyes and was surprised with what was before him.

"Hey, Mochida-senpai." Yamamoto's smile wasn't quite usual; it seemed slightly strained. "Violence isn't the way to solve issues like this, right?"

If it another person was stopping Mochida from beating the crap out of Tsuna, he would definitely beat up the 'hero' too.

Mochida, as the kendo captain of the school, he had a level of control over people.

But Mochida knew it was Yamamoto, one of the most popular students in school. If he wronged the cheerful male, surely Mochida would lose his admirers by a great amount.

"Fine."

Mochida let Tsuna go, but not without giving him a hard shove that made the brunette fell down.

The whole class winced as Tsuna knocked over onto the table beside his, resulting in a loud noise.

Just around that time, Kyoko and Hana had already walked into their class, witnessing Yamamoto's heroically saving Tsuna.

"Tsuna-kun!" Kyoko cried. She quickly went to the brunette's side and helped him up.

Kyoko dusted Tsuna's clothes, adjusted his tie and even fluffed up his hair, making the whole students in the class dumbfounded by their angelic idol's action.

If Mochida's fuse wasn't lit up just now, it was now.

"Tsuna! I challenge you to a kendo match for Sasagawa Kyoko!"

"I-I r-refuse." Tsuna answered quickly.

Hana had enough of Mochida's behavior towards the obviously weaker male. When she saw Mochida was about to spat some insults or nonsense again, she slapped the back of his head with her rolled-up book.

"Stop your bullying, monkey."

Mochida glared at Hana. "This is none of your business! This is an issue between men, so Tsuna must accept it!"

"Fight all you want, but do you really think it's fun to pick on the smaller ones?!" Hana retorted.

"It's none of your business!"

"You're involving my best friend into this idiotic manner, do you really think I'll just sit here and watch?!"

Hana and Mochida glared daggers at each other, making the whole class awkward with tensed silence.

Tsuna was oblivious to the atmosphere around him. Instead of doing something about Mochida, he bowed slightly to Kyoko.

"T-tha-thank y-you."

Kyoko was surprised but smiled, but it was a bit tensed. "No problem, Tsuna-kun."

Tsuna's face reddened only a little bit, but it was enough to catch the kendo captain's attention.

Mochida only saw red and his hands went for Tsuna's neck.

"A-agh!" Tsuna let out a strangled choke and desperately tried to pry Mochida's hands off.

"Damn you! Damn you to hell!" Mochida roared.

Fortunately, before Mochida could go too far, his classmates quickly rushed and pulled the Kendo captain away from the brunette.

"T-Tsuna-kun, are you okay?" Kyoko was immensely worried. She patted Tsuna's back to comfort him.

Tsuna nodded weakly in reply, still trying to get back the oxygen he needed. The brunette's started coughing, which made the orange-haired girl upset.

Kyoko got up and went to Mochida, who was still struggling against the other students who were trying to get him to calm down.

To everyone's great surprise, Kyoko raised a hand and slapped Mochida right across his face, resulting in a painfully loud noise.

Ouch.

Mochida was dumbfounded. But Kyoko's action only fueled his anger towards the brunette.

The anger wasn't only just Sasagawa Kyoko's infatuation towards Tsuna though.

It was his pride.

And Tsuna had somehow caused some domino effects to shatter all of it into pieces in a matter of minutes.

The damned student who decided he could just flirt with the girl Mochida had his eyes on for a while.

The dead-eyes that never changed, even when threatened by the feared yet admired kendo captain who made it to the nationals and got third place.

The weak-as-a-twig brunette who couldn't even defend himself like a man and just accept his challenge.

Weak and pathetic, Tsuna was.

Dame-dame*, he definitely was.

*Dame: Japanese for useless/good-for-nothing

Couldn't even protect himself and had to depend on others.

The students had let Mochida go, seeing that he stopped struggling. "Dame-Tsuna." He spat with such venom.

He stood up, glaring at the brunette.

"You can never run away from a challenge."

He left the classroom without another word.

"I'm home…" Tsuna sighed tiredly as he closed the door behind him.

Nana's voice rang from the kitchen. "Welcome home, dear!"

Tsuna was about to go upstairs, but his mother stopped him.

"Tsu-kun, come here for a sec!"

Before going into the kitchen he straightened his collars to hide the red finger marks on his neck.

"Yeah?"

Nana showed a guilty face but kept a smile and handed Tsuna a piece of paper.

"Kaa-chan, do you want me to go buy this?" Tsuna asked.

Tsuna stared at it.

If he did have a tutor, he would obviously have less time for himself.

He would have to cut down on his otaku time.

"No."

Nana frowned. "But Tsu-kun, don't you want to change your lifestyle? Your social life is such a run-down."

"I don't need any socializing."

"Ah, but I already called them." Nana smiled.

The door bell rang.

Tsuna and Nana traded looks.

"Come on, it must be your tutor!" Nana excitedly pulled Tsuna along with her to the door.

Tsuna started sweating and got nervous at the very idea of meeting some complete stranger his mother had obliviously hired.

Before opening the door, Nana gave Tsuna an reassuring smile. "Just try giving your tutor a chance, okay?"

They were obviously expecting somebody standing at the door but they saw nobody.

"Huh? Was it just a prank?" Nana wondered.

Tsuna mentally sighed in relief. "Well, I'm going up-"

"Ciaossu."

They looked downwards and saw a fedora-wearing baby in an expensive-looking suit who for some reason had a green chameleon sitting on his arms.

Nana crouched down. "Are you lost, little one?" She asked.

The baby shook his head. "I'm Reborn, the tutor you hired, Nana-san."

Nana's eyes were filled with amazement. "Wow! A tutor at your age? Amazing!"

"T-that's obviously a s-scam, kaa-chan." Tsuna pointed to Reborn. "A baby can't possibly-"

Reborn grabbed Tsuna's finger and flipped him onto the ground with ease.

"O-ouch!" Tsuna cried out in pain. "W-wh-wha…" It was unbelievable that the baby had somehow flipped a teen with a perfect 360 degree twirl without breaking a bone.

The baby merely smirked cooly. "Lesson 1: Respect others and they shall respect you, dame-Tsuna."

Nana was awed by the baby's uniqueness, but she had to care for her son first.

"Are you alright, Tsu-kun?" She pulled Tsuna up.

"Y-yeah." He was actually both mentally and physically tired. As if the drama in school wasn't enough to exhaust him.

"Hmmm, but Reborn-kun seems to be more than just a baby, right?"

And Nana has no idea how right she was.

No, I'm not implying Kyoko is Tsuna's crush. Or am I? We'll find out in the future, and I hope you're prepared for the twist I have in mind.

himitsuTenshixakuma:

Btoom? I certainly haven't heard of that before. I'll try to read some of it soon! As for Harem anime, honestly, I'm not so fond of it, since it often tears my heart when I see my OTP not getting canonized.

And yet we all love that dame side of Dino. Wait, what do you mean if Kyoko's straight?! XD

Lucifer Elrics:

Tsuna isn't really much of a gamer, but that doesn't mean he doesn't play some PC games. I just googled Nintendo 3DS and XL, and woah, technology has advanced.

Thank you! I love the TPP, and I'm sorry for removing it so quickly! ;O; But it's gonna appear soon, at the right time, of course.
