I have not forgotten about ya'll. I recently finished a semester in school without any internet! IDK how I did it, but I've been writing behind all the school work. So here is another post. Hope you like it!
I swore I felt no cuts, or bruises. Edward was deathly silent when staring me down. I almost flipped out after not hearing a word from him.
"Well!?" I hissed, shaking in his grip, my cheek pressed against the table.
Still, he was silent. I looked over to what I could see of Ace, and his face was flabbergasted.
"What the hell is it!?" I barked at them, "You have me half naked, captain! Tell me what's wrong at least!"
His grip softened up, allowing the aggravating pain to ease off me. "I see nothing. Not a scratch on you."
I felt a cool chill run across my bare back. No sting. I knew I was fine. But I'd be lying if I said my gut didn't boil from that news.
"You mean to tell me, that you have me bare backed…and nothing is wrong with me?" I started off calmly.
"It would seem so, lass." Edward stated just as calm.
At that, I yanked my body away so fast, that my breasts could have hit me on the face. My face heated up, and I was sure it was a red as my hair. I lividly took in a breath and started yelling like a madman.
"ARE YOU INSANE?! BLOODY PIRATE YANKS MY SHIRT OFF AND DOESN'T EVEN APOLOGIZE TO ME!?" My spit flew everywhere.
Edward's face scrunched, and his eyes closed from embarrassment as he backed away. I stomped over to my shirt that was so casually thrown on the floor, and started yanking in onto my naked skin.
"I told you that I was fine, you pathetic monkey!" I spat some more, shoving passed Edward with meaning. To counter it, he gripped my forearm so tight, I almost went plummeting to the floor.
"Adewale, leave us!" He hissed, making his first mate scurry away with such speed, I almost saw smoke. At that point, I swallowed a lump in my throat, as I heard the wooden doors close tightly. Edward had so much strength, that when he yanked me toward him, I was afraid our collide would turn into complete pain.
I squealed like a punk, feeling him quickly pin me back on the table, but this time with my back pressed. Before I could take in a needed breath, his torso was on mine. His hands slid to my back, gripping me tight, and hauling me upward until I was so close to him that I could feel his manhood. I couldn't even push him off, he was so tightly close.
My heart was racing, my dangling legs were shaking, and my body was going ridged. I took in a quick, shaken breath, but couldn't release it. Edward's lips were on mine so fast! He gripped the back of my head and practically devoured my mouth. His tongue was like an eel, but still almost too big for my mouth. But I couldn't help but let out an unconscious moan. I was gripping his shouldered tightly, until he deepened the kiss to a point where I couldn't hold onto him any longer.
His lips parted from mine fiercely, like he had just sucked the life out of a plastic bottle. He began panting along with me, and I couldn't explain why we were both so breathless . Still, he remained incredibly close, breathing almost in labor pants. He gripped the back of my head again, and angrily gave his mouth back to me, where I couldn't help myself in grunting or loving his kiss. He was like an animal, and it turned me on to the highest degree. The man just saw me topless! I could see why he would get so turned on!
His hands trailed up my loosely fitted shirt, where his touch tickled every fiber of me. He began biting my lips, letting his hands squeeze me. Then his mouth trailed my neck, hungrily planting soft bites on my skin. I was so high from this; the shock hadn't fully come through yet.
I felt everything! His stiffening manhood and the tingles from his touch. I gripped a handful of his blonde hair, yanking him back to my hungry mouth. I was becoming something I didn't recognize! As soon as he bit my lips again….the shock hit me, and hard.
As fast as I could, I pushed him off with my straddled leg, as hard as I could. He jolted back, almost losing his balance. There he stayed, catching his breath in grunts that made me want him again. I sat there, catching some air as well, and fixing the disheveled cloth I called a shirt that he was readying to rip off.
He droned on me with dangerous eyes, making me unable to return the stare. All I could do was slide off the table, losing my footage from the rush that just happened.
I nervously walked that way, in hopes my heart wouldn't pump so loud that he could hear it. As soon as I reached the door, Edward gripped my arm again, making me squeal lightly.
"Lady of Fire…" He began. I couldn't look at him. "Glad to know you aren't hurt." He spoke softly.
I simply nodded, sliding my arm away.
I didn't know who I was, and Edward just made me lose track!
That night, as I was scrubbing down the men on the ship, I imagined Edward's back being washed off by mine. I imagined everything, and did it so much that I caught myself smiling from moment to moment.
"Aye!" Shaw hissed, looking back at my hands and the cloth with irritation, "Scrub harder lass! I's be a dirty bastard!"
The crew laughed at his remark, but all I could do was turn red.
Once I was in my lone bed, Edward crossed my mind even more. I was still breathless, and my thoughts of him kept me up most of the night. I knew because the sky was becoming brighter, but not too bright. I heard thunder in the far distance, and saw lighting strike brightness through the little hole I could look through.
Even then, as the rain came, I thought about him through it all. I didn't sleep a wink. I was just too filled with the captain above us. Was he sleep? Was he awake like me? Was he thinking of me, like I was thinking of him. I was just so confused. I would probably never really have the guts to confront him about it. And what's to happen to my position on the ship? Was I still to be ignored?
Continued
The sky was filled with grey, and the sun was not to be seen today. Rain pounded the upper deck, and thunder shook the entire ship! The crew was making their way upward, so that meant me as well. To tell you the truth, I had butterflies! Edward was definitely going to be out the cabin at some point in time. I just didn't know how I would act in front of his gaze.
I slowly made my way to upper deck, and immediately started to get soaked . The rain came down so hard to the point where the ship was almost down by the hectic waves. However, for some reason, we were told to stay out on deck by Ace….Ade?
I was really going to have to figure what I was supposed to call him.
Water was pounding my head. I had just recovered from yesterday! Could I not get wet today!? It would be nice to be dry for once and not have to sleep in old wet clothes.
"MEN!" I heard the familiar voice ring out above all the rain and thunder. Captain Kenway was standing at the helm, holding onto a rail as the ship rocked back and forth. All the crew came to attention. I stayed behind them, listening as hard as I could.
"This storm ain't gonna let up! I need you all to prepare for the rocky ride ahead!"
"Wat ya need us ta be doin!?" Ade shouted out against the wind.
"Mandle and Shaw, I want hoisting the sails to full! Ade, I want you to be with me at the helm!" Thunder crashed, "As for the rest of you men, strap all goods securely in the brig! We don't be needing everything sliding about, weighing us to the side. We must stay centered upon the waves!" He finalized, running out of breath from all the shouted, "Now, MOVE!"
My body jolted to his command, unconsciously turning and moving as the rest of the men did. It just seemed natural to follow.
"LADY OF FIRE!?" Edward shouted from the tiny balcony. I whipped around to catch his eyes ahead. "Meet me at the helm!"
Without question, I rushed up to him with my chest pounding from the anxiety of being addressed and near him. I would be nervously shaking, but, for some reason, the rickety motion of the ship masked my nervous energy. That was certainly necessary because when I finally got up to him, him eyes met mine with intensity. Even with all the hard rain coming down, I still felt my bowels drop from those blue eyes of his. Ade wasn't up here yet.
"Look, I want you out of harm's way! You can either stay in my cabin, or remain in the pit where your bunk is!" He seemed to shout over the waves and rain.
My brow furrowed from the choices. "No way! I won't be tucked away like some child! I can handle a rocking ship!"
He came in closer, looking back out at the storm. "You forget your place, woman!" He hissed toward me, having me a bit taken aback by this comment. His eyes then met mine again with danger, letting my bowels almost slip that time. "I am well aware of what happened the other day between us, but that don't change your position as of now! You are still under my command, and are still my captive as long as you are being watched by my eye. All rules still apply! They don't change. You listen but Never speak back unless given permission! Is this clear?"
I stared at him like he had just turned into a fly. He stepped dangerously close with more vigor in his voice, "Is that clear, Lady of Fire?" He asked darker.
I swallowed a lump and nodded with no words to spill.
"Good." His eyes focused back on the storm. "Barricade yourself somewhere safe. I won't have you flying off the ship again."
It was like last night never happened! He was back to the same Edward that I first met! Where'd the sweet and gentle man go!? I would really like him back! This Edward was on his period! And YES! I remembered what a period was! Of all things, I wished I had forgotten that one thing at least!
In a quick shove, Captain Edward pushed me on my way, and almost in a violent manner that could have had me on my knees. I guess he was really keen on getting me well hidden.
I stumbled down the steps on deck, feeling way too nervous to go to his cabin. My bunk would have been best. I hadn't had enough sleep anyway. Maybe the violent storm would rock me to sleep?
The ship tipped over from one harsh wind, and water came crashing on deck, knocking me over! I wasn't the only one. All in the way had watery heads and slippery feet.
"GET TO DA CAPTAIN'S QUARTERS LASS!" Adewale shouted from now above me at the helm. I looked up, pathetically from the wet wood I was now laying on. "NOW!" He shouted again, soon enough for another violent salty wave to come crashing on my head. No way was I going to set myself up. My bunk was more welcoming. But it would have been nice if I didn't have to have come up on deck in the first place!
I stumbled my way to the pit's entrance, more water crashing. That made a good advance, knocking me down the hole!
"What was the bloody point of sending me up!?" I screamed to myself. And I was beginning to talk like the damned sailors!
I made my way to my bunk, rocking with the ship in this storm. As soon as I got to my bed, I plopped on it, hitting my head instantly on the hard thing they called a pillow here. Now my sheets were wet and dirty, but that wasn't much of an improvement from before. At least now, being all wet, I wasn't as smelly as yesterday.
The waves crashed from outside, as seen through my tiny hole I called a window. I wanted to get some rest, but couldn't by the look of the sky. Grey! No blue in sight. I ran a hand through my hair, shutting my eyes tightly. The bunk creaked and wiggle, and did so again when I became tired of laying on my back and flipped on my side.
The lack of light wasn't enough to wreck my sense of color or sight. When my arm laid at ease against my wet pillow, I noticed something quite odd.
My fingers were wet with red. I immediately sat up and flung my fingers up to the hole for better lighting. It spooked me, of course, because this was the same red the crew and captain saw yesterday! This was the same red that forced me naked in front of the horney Edward! However, it wasn't thick enough to have been blood. It was too translucent and bright.
My heart seized in my chest!
My quick hands started rubbing through my hair violently, shacking the wetness along my hands. When I brought them back to view, my worries were right!
My hair was bleeding! The red from my hair was DRIPPING!
This was why I was thought to have been hurt. I looked down at my pillow, seeing it covered with the fire red.
I took a second to take a needed breath. I didn't remember dying my hair! I was extremely confused and surprised. My thoughts began to wonder on what to do next. Cut it? No! Let it bleed? No!
A wave came crashing in at that moment, splashing through the hole and onto me all of a sudden. My face immediately went to the hole, and an uncontrollable grin came across my lips.
"Brilliant!" I shouted to myself! I had the best idea! One that solved both my problems.
Several hours later (Third person)
The wind had calmed, the storm had dropped. Edward was checking his men, inventory and the maintenance of the ship from the storm.
"Adewale!?" He shouted up to the helm.
"Yes Captain!?" Ade shouted back.
"Check on the lass! I don't want to have lost her in the storm!"
"AYE!" Ade responded. His quick feet carried him down to the deck so that he could open the doors to the pit below. Once down there, he hurriedly traveled to the corner that was the girl's with the fire red hair. However, he was soon stopped and shocked in a sort of horror when he noticed no body and a newly gaping hole that used to be the tiny window she used to look through. Water crashed through easier, and Adewale was filled with panic. He didn't know what he was going to do or say to the captain, but it was pretty obvious that the girl had escaped!
"CAPTAIN KENWAY!" Ade came running up to the deck as quickly as he could with the worry stricken in his voice.
"What is it, Ade?" The captain asked as his first mate approached out of breath and frantic.
"Tha girl-" He caught his breath, steeping over.
"What?" Edward impatiently asked, "Speak up, mate."
Adewale stood up straight, softening now at the breath. All crew men started gathering closer with curiosity.
"Tha girl! She be dun jumped out tha ship!"
Edwards face slowly changed to a scowling mean! He quickly gripped Ade's shoulders, in which his first mate countered back with his own strong arms.
"What do you mean!?" Edward hissed.
"She be gone, captain! Ripped open a lastin hole and escaped durin tha storm!"
Edwards face grew dangerous, as his eyes glowered and droned viciously, and his mouth tightened in a grit at the teeth.
Just as soon as the news sunk in with the others, Edward was hellishly screaming out to the crew.
"MEN! GATHER SPEED! FULL SAIL AHEAD!"
His body jetted now to the helm for the wheel. Ade followed reluctantly.
"How are we gonna find her, captain! She cuda been lost long before tha storm faded!?" Ade shouted out to the now wildly angry Edward
"She ain't gotten that far, Ade! She's heading as far as her legs can carry her!"
"That cud take a while!" The first mate reiterated.
"No!" Edward spat, taking strong hold of the wheel. "A man can only go so far before their legs give out on them!" He spun the wheel hard, "She ain't far! Trust me!"
A/N: Something quick. Sorry for errors.
