gabrielatsuki: Thanks! u

FLARECROWN: Thank you~ :D

booklover1209: Yeahhh, I thought the Lambo's poor finger review might be too much gore for one day.

angelacorus: 2786? Will try to fit it in somewhere when Haru debuts!

Comedy-Neko-Chan: Well I AM tempted to add in yaoi. But I'm not comfortable with writing it (But I do love reading them *coughcough*) so i just add in little hints of it. Though actual yaoi might actually make it though. Just saying.

Kenshin Akagi: Hello dear male reader-san! Yes, you're correct, there was this chapter where Tsuna's skullitis revealed that he burried his dad's photos somehwere in the yard. I'm glad you remember that! Though one reason Tsuna didn't burn it (which would effectively destroy evidence of existence) was because he was pathetic and couldn't light a fire.

Fallen Demonic Angel: Ah, kouhai-chan, thank you for your support! GokuHaru? Not my fav pair, but I'll try to see what I can do!

Chapter 7: The Cow Brat's Realistically Creepy Toys

Nagi observed the small animal inside the pet shop where she visited often.

That animal was always her favourite for some reason. There were other tons of cuter hamsters, puppies, and kittens, but it's that particular black kitten inside the cringe-worthy small cage that catches her attention.

It was like any other day today; Nagi sneaks off from school, goes to the pet shop, and occasionally go into the shop to offer assistance to take care of the animals.

There was one thing different from that particular morning though.

"Herbivore," a tone that sounded dull was heard, "why are you not in school?"

Nagi glanced and saw a guy around her age who had a jacket drooped onto his shoulders. She arched an eyebrow at the sunglasses and opened her mouth to say something.

"No, you may not ask about the sunglasses," Hibari said in a lazy manner, as if he didn't want to be there. "Answer my question."

Nagi frowned. "I don't have to listen to you," she said.

Hibari sighed through his nose and seemed to roll his eyes behind the dark-tinted glasses. "Look, we can do this the easy way, where you just go back to your school, or the hard way, where I make you," he said. "Frankly, I'd rather you choose the first one."

"Listen, jerk," she glared, "you have no right to tell me what to do –who do you think are you, the mayor of this city?" Nagi spat with her sharp tongue that got her on bad terms with almost the entire population of her school.

"Ugh, I hate hitting girls," the boy muttered under his breath as he pull back a fist. "Last warning."

The door opened and the doorbell chimed, revealing the owner of the shop, an old lady. "Oh, Nagi, dear, are you here to help again?" Her smile widened when she saw Hibari. "Oh, a friend! How wonderful!" She gestured both of them in. "Don't be shy, come in!"

Nagi was about to say something to warn the old lady that the boy seemed to be dangerous, seeing his attempt at attacking for something clearly not his business, but the boy just brushed passed her and entered without missing a beat.

"It smells here," Hibari commented gruffly, wrinkling his nose at the stench.

But the old lady just laughed lightly. "Dear, it's hard for a grandma to take care of all these animals," she complained lightly. "Oh, but I just love them anyway," she said in a fond manner.

Hibari glanced at all the cages. He approached the one closest to him and reached out his hand to touch the canine. He was unsurprised when the canine retreated slightly in fear at his touch. Animals tend to dislike him for some reason. He was told him it might be of his 'aura' or something.

Nagi frowned in pity when she saw Hibari pulled back his hand unenergetically. She approached him and held out her hand to the dog to which it snuggled under her warm touch.

"I don't really get why Kana doesn't like you," Nagi said. "She's usually very friendly."

Hibari didn't do anything but grumble something under his breath and turned around. He sat at the corner and crossed his arms, looking everywhere else at the other animals.

Nagi sometimes sees him staring at how animals were attracted towards her and he would seem more upset.

When the girl realized what the deal was with him, she giggled lightly to herself.

He's pouting. How cute.

Tsuna expected to be awaken by Reborn kicking him in the ribs of threatening him to gauge out his eyes (He sincerely believes the baby wasn't bluffing) if he didn't get on his toes right that moment.

Of course, it wasn't pleasant and Tsuna sometimes missed the days when he could wake up without being struck by paranoia of being watched by the crazy baby.

But Tsuna wasn't expecting to be awakened by a child that definitely wasn't Reborn, jumping on his stomach like a trampoline. He pushed the child off him, regardless of concern for the child.

"WAHH! You pushed me!" the brat wailed and started throwing punches at Tsuna.

"W-what- Who are you?!" Tsuna demanded. Though the punches weren't that painful compared to Reborn's, it was definitely annoying.

Lambo stopped his hitting attempt and attached himself to Tsuna's left leg and started biting him.

"Ack!" he yelped in pain. Tsuna tried to pry the child off his leg and groaned in frustration. What a wonderful way to start his day; his body was tired despite feeling that he had sleep for days, this child from nowhere was constantly pestering him, and Yamamoto –

Tsuna's arms that were pushing Lambo fell limp beside him when he saw his room. It was a total mess; his manga were scattered, figurines were all over the places, some were in pieces too, and his DVDs were opened with their discs scratched.

"What… happened…," he croaked out weakly. His eyes grew hot and he felt his life slowly seeping out of him.

The child noticed Tsuna's misery and got off his leg. He stood proudly and hollered, "Scared? You should be! After all I did thi – "

Tsuna mumbled under his breath darkly as he began rearranging his manga by categories. He was lucky that they weren't ripped, at least. But his Miku figurine had her left side of her twin tail chip off a bit – that was a lot to Tsuna.

Reborn hummed in an amused manner at Tsuna. "You do have an explosive temper, dame-Tsuna."

The brunette stayed silent and continued on with his work. Eventually, he murmured out, "Who was the child." It sounded more like a statement than a question.

"Lambo Bovino, from the Bovino famiglia," Reborn answered. "Apparently, he's on a mission to assassinate me."

Tsuna could practically hear the eye rolling from Reborn's voice.

"By t-the way… What happened yesterday?" Tsuna knows he had somehow saved Yamamoto thanks to Reborn's bullets. But what happened after that?

"Gokudera and Yamamoto brought you back," Reborn said, "and I told Yamamoto to become your comrade."

Tsuna whipped his head at the baby. "W-what?!" He looked at Reborn's expressionless face. He knew it wasn't a joke – definitely not – and Reborn had pulled an innocent bystander into his dark world of… the mafia. Tsuna still denied the whole thing about the mafia thing (He was waiting for the day for him to wake up from this crazy dream), but it was as clear as day and he couldn't ignore the plain truth.

The brunette had asked Gokudera about the mafia thing one time and yes, Gokudera had enthusiastically answered him what Reborn said about Tsuna being the tenth Vongola was true. And Tsuna knew Gokudera wouldn't lie to him.

"Y-you can't – "

"Shut it, dame-Tsuna." Reborn sounded irritated, so Tsuna did so. Reborn had known that what Tsuna felt towards him – deep fear, frustration, and a pinch of suspicion. So the tutor was surely going to use those emotions to his advantage. But he had to do something about Tsuna's push over self.

"MAMA! CANDY! CANDY!" Lambo cried out loudly from downstairs, making Tsuna cringe.

"H-he's… seriously staying with us…?" Tsuna didn't want to hear the answer, honestly, because he knew full well of his mother's kindness.

Reborn nodded gravely. "He's an annoying brat," he admitted. "But maybe you'll need him to learn to tame that temper of yours."

Tsuna turned back to his figurines. He glared at the broken pieces and swallowed down his piling negative emotions. He inhaled deeply and counted to ten before exhaling. "I… don't have a temper."

"Yeah, yeah." Reborn said. "And Lambo can successfully assassinate me."

"I told you get the hell out of my matters!"

Tsuna was slightly surprised to see Gokudera outside his gate, furiously shouting into his phone.

"Gokudera?"

The silver-head jumped slightly and whip his head to Tsuna. He broke into a smile, the one reserved for his boss that he respected greatly.

"Good morning, tenth." Gokudera greeted. He shut his phone and slipped it into his back pocket.

Tsuna decided to not comment on it.

"M-morning." Tsuna tried tugging his lips upwards, but it may have ended up weird. "Um, how's Yamamoto?" He didn't remember much after he was shot. He was shot twice then he was somehow carrying Yamamoto like a prince.

Gokudera shrugged. "Probably at the hospital," he said in a nonchalant tone. "He went home shortly since his wrist was killing him or something."

Gokudera acted like he didn't give a damn about Yamamoto at all, but Tsuna could somehow feel that the silver-head was worried, or at least somewhat worried. It was just a gut feeling.

Of course, the whole school noticed Yamamoto's absence and showed concerns for him, especially the girls.

"Hmm?" The teacher noticed the empty table. "So Yamamoto's not here." Nezu-sensei wrote it down into his attendance note.

The girls cried out in dismay and the boys groaned in disappointment. Throughout the classes, the students never fail to remind them of Yamamoto.

"Okay, who wants to answer this?" The English teacher pointed to the question written on the blackboard.

A girl let out a deep sigh. "If it was Yamamoto he would know the answer."

Hanada-sensei groaned in annoyance. "Fine, you answer then," she said, making the girl squeak in surprise.

When it was lunch time, Tsuna and Gokudera had their lunch on the rooftop. The moderately bright sun was just right for them.

Tsuna decided to strike up a conversation for once. "It's a-amazing how much they miss Yamamoto, huh?"

Gokudera nodded then massaged his temples. "I thought I was going to get crazy." He was this close to snapping at them, but he reminded himself that he shouldn't be so short-tempered as the boss' right-hand man.

"… So, R-Reborn told me he wanted Yamamoto as a comrade."

"What. That guy?" Gokudera snorted and laughed. "He seemed like he can't even get basic burglary or killing!"

And you do?! Gokudera didn't notice Tsuna's expression of shock and horror.

Being unsocial-able people, they weren't able to hold on to that conversation for even past one minute.

Tsuna took out his manga recommended by his online friend and started reading it. Gokudera arched an eyebrow at its shiny and shoujo-looking cover, but he didn't want to seem rude by questioning Tsuna.

Tsuna couldn't completely focus on his manga as his mind keeps wandering back to the paranoia that Gokudera might commit homicide or any crime. He knew the other wouldn't, but still…

The next day Yamamoto came back, which was a celebration for his classmates. But his condition wasn't all that well.

A boy gasped. "What happened to you?" He gestured to Yamamoto's slightly bruised body and his left hand that was in a cast.

"Just some accidents during baseball," Yamamoto answered. "Guess I won't be playing it for a while," he said jokingly. He was secretly relieved for some reason.

His teammates showed concerned for their friend and their baseball matches. What were they going to do without Yamamoto?

Yamamoto was chatting with his friends to fill the time. He had unknowingly slipped into his façade of a smile. He started noticing that his most of his baseball teammates didn't attempt to chat with him as much as before the incident yesterday.

"I noticed that your house seemed to be noisier, tenth."

"I-it's nothing."

Yamamoto's eyes glinted when he saw his saviours walking into the classroom. He stood up, ignoring one of his friends who was talking about his tale at chess, and waved his uninjured arm.

"Hey, Tsuna, Gokudera!" Yamamoto greeted energetically.

Tsuna jumped slightly. "O-oh. He-hello?" He replied doubtfully. If it wasn't for Yamamoto calling out his name, he would have thought Yamamoto was calling somebody else.

Gokudera didn't bother to reply and just glared at the baseball player.

Tsuna hung his head to avoid the stares and walked to his seat. He was caught by surprise when Yamamoto slung his good arm around his shoulder when Tsuna passed by.

"Thanks again, Tsuna!" Yamamoto said. Then in a more serious tone, he said, "I appreciate it."

"H-huh? Uh, s-sure…," Tsuna stuttered out in surprise, his face red.

"Hey!" Gokudera slapped Yamamoto's arm away from Tsuna. "What gives you the right to put your dirty hand on the tenth?!" he barked furiously.

Yamamoto laughed it off and even patted Gokudera's back in a friendly manner. "Now, now, we're all friends!"

As expected, Gokudera smacked Yamamoto's hand away from him roughly and barked, "Screw off!" He then pushed Tsuna away from the person he deemed as freak towards the latter's seat.

"Wasn't that a bit mean?" was what Tsuna wanted to say. But his slight fear towards his newly-made friend still lingered around. So he kept quiet and sent an apologetic look to Yamamoto, who smiled back and gave him a thumbs-up.

Tsuna felt lighter already. Wow. No wonder people want to be his friend. Yamamoto had this… certain effect on people that just calms you down.

"Oh. I see you're back, Yamamoto," Nezu-sensei said.

"Missed me?" Yamamoto said cheekily and gave a peace sign.

Nezu-sensei rolled his eyes. "Anyway," he picked up the students' assignments. "I'm going to go do some other stuff, so keep it down in class."

"Okay," The students chimed cheerfully.

As soon as the teacher left and was out of earshot, the students quickly went into their groups and started chatting or took out their phones.

"H-Hi," Tsuna greeted Gokudera, who took the empty-seat in front of him.

"Excuse my presence, tenth."

Tsuna shook his head awkwardly, still tense and all. He appreciated how Gokudera would always take the opportunity to be with him, but Gokudera was still a bit stiff.

"It's that kind of way of talking that scares him, Gokudera," Yamamoto said. He crouched beside Tsuna's table and placed his good arm on it. "Oh," he said as he looked at the clear sky from the window, "nice view." No wonder Tsuna liked to sit near the window so much. He had been doing that for almost every grade they were in, Yamamoto noticed.

"What do you want?" Gokudera asked grouchily. "And what do you mean by that?" he asked as if he dared Yamamoto to give the wrong answer just so he could have an excuse to attack him.

Tsuna wanted to warn Yamamoto not to answer that, especially when he saw the dangerous glint in Gokudera's eyes.

But Yamamoto was quick to answer, "I just wanted to be friends!" he declared cheerfully. "Oh, and I'm pretty sure Tsuna's not doing so well with your formal way of talking, especially since you only do that with him," Yamamoto pointed out.

Gokudera paused. "Is it true, tenth?" he asked.

Tsuna avoided Gokudera's eyes and nodded shakily. "S-sorry…"

"You want to be friends with Tsuna, right?" Yamamoto asked. "First, you should smile! And I mean smile like you really mean it! That way, people would be comfortable with you!"

Gokudera would have protested, but then again, he was doing this for Tsuna. So he forced the ends of his lips upwards. Yes, he did 'smile' in a way, but he still kept a glare.

Yamamoto was going to comment on it, but instead held in a chuckle when he saw Tsuna attempting to smile too.

"That's a shiny book you have there, Tsuna," Yamamoto stated out as he saw the bright-coloured manga that he didn't expect Tsuna to have.

Tsuna flushed. "It-it's a manga recommended by a friend." Usagi insisted that Tsuna could read something light-hearted instead of serious stuff like usual. So he got one recommended by him/her (Tsuna still had no idea about his friend's gender).

"What's it about?" Yamamoto asked.

"U-uh…" Tsuna was caught off-guard. Nobody bothered to ask anything about the manga he read. Gokudera didn't ask probably because he didn't want to sound rude.

"It's Special A. S-see, in this certain rich-kid school, there's this highest ranking class, class A. A-and the main character, Hi-Hikari, is from a poor family…"

"So it's the classic boy meets girl?" Yamamoto said.

"Sorta. But t-they knew each other from childhood."

Yamamoto perked up. "Ah, childhood romance!"

Tsuna kept on explaining and found himself blabbering on and on, enthusiastic that Yamamoto was so curious about the manga.

Gokudera glared at the bun he was eating. Yamamoto had followed them to the rooftop during lunch. Tsuna didn't seem too bother about it so Gokudera swallowed his complains.

It was quite maddening that the usual silence between him and the tenth that Gokudera appreciated so much was disrupted by the annoying laughter.

No, Gokudera definitely wasn't jealous.

"Wh-why were you absent yesterday, Yamamoto?" Tsuna asked.

"My dad brought me to the hospital for a check-up," Yammaoto said. "He wanted me to stay home for the week, but I really can't wait to see you guys!" he declared shamelessly.

Tsuna almost spat out his food in embarrassment.

Gokudera rolled his eyes. "Bullshit," he muttered.

"U-uh… T-thanks?" Tsuna said doubtfully. He didn't know what to say and thought a thank you was appropriate enough. "C-can you cope with s-school, though?" Tsuna asked to change the subject.

Yamamoto grinned as laid-back as usual. "No problem!" He gestured to his injured hand that was in a cast. "Oh, sensei, I'm afraid I can't do my homework today! Or tomorrow! Or for the next month, in fact!" he cried out in a faked sad tone. "I'm gonna bribe people to say that I'm left-handed," he said, "with a little of this." He rubbed his fore finger and thumb together, making the money sign and wriggled his eyebrows mischievously.

It was such a cheap joke, Tsuna couldn't believe he actually laughed.

Gokudera held back his laughter and covered his mouth with his fist, pretending to cough. When he saw Tsuna, who was clutching his stomach and struggling for air, Gokudera was infected by it and let out a light laughter.

'Their relationship improved relatively well,' Reborn thought. It was the right choice to have Yamamoto involved with them. He was after all, the life of a party. Or vice versa, that worked too.

Reborn sharply bent his head 45 degree and avoided the bullet that was aimed at his head.

"Reborn! Stop stalking dame-Tsuna and stay still!" the cow-brat, Lambo, cried out as he waved his gun in frustration. It had been about 5 days since his first arrival, and yet, he had not learnt to give up on his attempt to kill Reborn.

"Listen," Reborn hissed fiercely, "cow brat. You better stop messing with me." Reborn sent his spine-chilling glare at Lambo, infamous for making even the strongest mafiaso to hesitate in making stupid decisions.

Lambo cowered in fear and wailed.

Reborn turned away; he knew full well that Lambo would only leave him alone for just a few hours before he forgot about his warning and restarted his assassinations attempt again.

Reborn groaned in annoyance. He had to find a way to get rid of Lambo, not permanently, as much as he was tempted to. Despite the Bovino being a miniscule famiglia compared to the Vongola, he knew making enemies wasn't good for Tsuna, the hopeless-tenth-in-training.

"Go play with dame-Tsuna."

"N-no!" Lambo cried out in fear. Somehow, Tsuna had managed to strike fear into Lambo's soul somehow. Lambo tend to stay out of Tsuna's way and stayed uncharacteristically quiet n his presence. Reborn wished Lambo was the same with him.

An idea struck into Reborn's mind. He smirked deviously, obviously up to no good. "Lambo," he called out creepily, "why don't you play with dame-Tsuna's friends?"

Lambo perked up. "Yes!" he cheered, delighted at the thought of having potential servants.

"Class, remember the last mini-test I gave you?" the English teacher asked, her words sounded edgy.

The class kept quiet in uncomfortable silence. It was a surprise test the teacher had given them about correct use of verbs, plurals, singulars, noun, etc. It was quite simple test.

She patted the stack of papers beside her. "No gentle way to say this, but you guys really suck."

They weren't surprised at the blunt language. She had 'Western influences', as the other teachers put it nicely. Nezu-sensei said it was just her way to express herself.

"Hanada-sensei, it's our first test, so you can't really blame us," a student defended weakly.

Hanada-sensei sighed. "I guess so," she said. "But that doesn't mean you guys can use that reason for the whole year."

She remembered the papers. "Oh, after you receive the papers, if you guys could go into pairs that would be delightful."

The teacher started handing out the papers, calling them one by one and reprimanding them depending on their mistakes.

Tsuna got his paper without much comment, only a "Keep up the good work, bushy-hair- I mean, Sawada" from the teacher, to his embarrassment (from the teacher's words) and relief (his marks was above average, fortunately).

Tsuna went over his mistakes heard a whisper from the corner. He looked up and saw Yamamoto waving at him.

Yamamoto mouthed something to Tsuna but the brunette just didn't get it, and just shrugged his shoulders and whispered, "What?"

"I think he's asking your mark, Tsuna-kun," Kyoko said, surprising Tsuna, who had completely forgotten about her presence.

"A-ah, t-that so? T-thanks…," Tsuna spluttered. He signed his marks to Yamamoto, carefully avoiding Kyoko's eyes.

Yamamoto arched an eyebrow at their interaction. He gave a thumbs-up, probably at Tsuna's marks.

"Yamamoto, Gokudera, you're pretty amazing," Hanada said. "Full marks." She returned them the papers to them.

Yamamoto thanked her while Gokudera just snatched the paper back.

Tsuna gaped at them; he didn't expect them of all people to get such good marks, as mean as that sounded. But it wasn't entirely his fault; he had forgotten Yamamoto lived in Canada for a period of time and Gokudera was a delinquent who didn't give two shits about academics.

Kyoko giggled at Tsuna's funny expression. The brunette remembered her presence and quickly slapped his face back to the blackboard. 'Stupid, stupid, stupid…,' Tsuna chanted to himself mentally, ignoring his face that was heating up once again.

Yamamoto, who just happened to witness the whole thing, smiled in a silly way.

"Mind if I join in?" Yamamoto asked as he grabbed a seat nearby and sat on it, beside Tsuna, which earned a ferocious glare from Gokudera.

"S-sure. B-but is it allowed?" Tsuna asked, trying to ignore Gokudera's hostility toward his new friend.

Yamamoto gave a thumbs-up before his right hand shot up in the air. "Sensei!" he called out.

"Yes, Yamamoto?" Hanada-sensei, along with the other students, turned to Yamamoto.

"Can we form a group of three? Since we have an odd number in the class anyway."

"Sure." Handa-sensei realized something. "But you three have good marks; it would make it rather unfair for the others."

"No problem! Just grade us stricter."

"Okay then." The teacher shrugged. "Anyway, all you have to do is to write a 300-word essay on someone you admire. Keep the person anonymous if you must. Hand it individually; meaning that you're still writing it on your own, but your partner or partners help each other."

"300 words!"

"Sensei…," the students whined, trying to haggle for less.

Hanada-sensei shook her head. "That essay is 20 percent of your grade, so do your best."

Yamamoto turned to them. "So, anyone in mind?" he asked.

"I do," Gokudera shot in excitedly. From the looks he was giving to a certain someone, it was quite obvious who he had in mind.

"I think I'm going to write about my dad," Yamamoto said. "What about you, Tsuna?"

"*Isayama Hajime, Arakawa Hiromu, *Hatsune Miku, Eren Yeagar, Yagami Light...' Tsuna had more names flowing in his head, but he stuttered out, "N-no."

*Isayama Hajime, Arakawa Hiromu: Mangaka of Attack on Titan and Fullmetal Alchemist respectively

*Hatsune Miku, Eren Yeager, Yagami Light: Characters from the Vocaloid industry, Attack on Titan, and Death Note respectively

"B-but if you're writing about your da-dad, I guess I'll w-write on my mum," Tsuna said.

Yamamoto was curious about Tsuna's dad, but held back his tongue, since it seemed like a sensitive issue. So he nodded in understanding.

"Please take care of me, guys," Yamamoto said.

Tsuna smiled. "B-but you have the highest mark with Gokudera. S-so I should be saying that instead."

There was a knock on the door before it slid open, revealing a male student.

"Yes?" Hanada-sensei eyed the boy without much expression.

"Excuse me, sensei, but there's kids here looking for naked-Tsuna," he said.

"… Naked-Tsuna?" The teacher arched an eyebrow.

The students snickered. Tsuna covered his face in embarrassment and made sure to pull down Gokudera before the latter could explode.

The student realized his mistake and flushed. "I-I meant Tsuna! Sorry, sorry," he apologized. He bent down and grabbed something behind the door and showed them the children.

"Dame-Tsuna!" Lambo cried out excitedly when he saw a (more or less) friendly face after being lost in the school for hours. He had forgotten his fear of the male.

Reborn just smirked at Tsuna's face.

'L-lambo?! Reborn?!' Tsuna quickly bolted to the male and took the brat from the other student. "T-thank you."

"About time you found us." Reborn grunted.

"No problem," the male student said. He slid the door closed.

"Sawada, what is your brothers doing here?" Hanada-sensei asked. She was pretty sure they were at least related in some ways; the massive hair was just such a huge give-away!

"I-I don't know," Tsuna admitted. "Reborn, Lambo, what are you doing here?" he asked in a quiet but stern tone.

Lambo seemed to realize he was with Tsuna and began to tremble slightly. But he hid his emotions with a haughty voice, "R-Reborn said Lambo-sama could make your friends my slaves!"

The class giggled at Lambo's statement.

'Of course it's Reborn.' Tsuna groaned as he glared at Reborn, who just shrugged haughtily at the brunette like it wasn't his deal.

It was really hard for Tsuna to take care of Lambo and Reborn. Lambo keeps wanting to run off and somehow took out random stuff from his hair that looks a little too real for toy weapons. Reborn kept jabbing him painfully when he wasn't answering questions asked by the teachers as if he was ashamed.

Gokudera left in the middle of class to take a smoke, much to the teacher's disdain. He had excused himself before that to Tsuna, saying that he would seriously go crazy if he continued listening to Lambo's rants and the cooings the children got.

When the teacher wasn't in the class, most of the girls crowded Lambo and Reborn, cooing at the little children.

"How old are you?"

"Lambo-sama is five!" "I'm older than you all."

"What do you like?"

"Lambo-sama likes candy! Lots and lots of candies!" "Training Tsuna to become the next boss."

"Is that your toys?"

"Lambo-sama got this pistol from his dad!" "Leon is not a toy and will not hesitate to bite your finger off."

Tsuna started gathering his stuff and got up to leave. Only Yamamoto noticed him as the others were too distracted by Lambo and Reborn.

Yamamoto tapped Tsuna's shoulder. The brunette turned around with a slight glare, slightly surprising Yamamoto. "Tsuna, aren't you going to wait for them?"

Tsuna opened his mouth to answer but no words came out, since he decided to bite his tongue.

As tempted as he was to answer no, Tsuna knew he had to bring Lambo back, or else his mother would reprimand him for losing Lambo or something. Reborn was no problem, since he surely knew how to get back, regrettably.

The brunette looked over to the children. He felt troubled; he didn't want to pull them away from such a big crowd.

Yamamoto noticed his discomfort and offered to do so by exclaiming, "Lambo, Reborn, time to go back!"

The girls whined in disappointment but they returned the children reluctantly. They even asked them to go back for a visit again, which Tsuna mentally begged them not to.

"Dame-Tsunaaaaa!" Lambo cried as he struggled to get out of Yamamoto's strong grip. "I want to go back! I want more candies!"

As soon as the girls heard that Lambo loved candies, they had immediately searched desperately for some. Of course Lambo got some, to his massive delight.

Tsuna didn't say anything. He just stood there with his back faced to them and looked into the distance, trying to figure a way to 'lose' Lambo and just go back himself. He just wished Yamamoto wasn't with them, trying to convince Tsuna otherwise.

"Hey, Tsuna, don't blame him for being… noisy. We're all like this at one point in our childhood, right?" Yamamoto said.

"I'm sure dame-Tsuna was a wimpy child who only hid behind his mum," Reborn added. Tsuna cringed at how right he was.

"Yamamoto, y-you don't have to take care of him a-anymore," Tsuna said. He turned around, feeling slightly guilty that Yamamoto was doing something he should do. Reluctantly, he held out his hands for Lambo. "Let's go home," he said with those dead-eyes of his.

But Lambo didn't want to, especially now when he remembered how boring at home it was. Nobody would play with him; Nana was always busy, Tsuna was out of the option, and Reborn was his target! "Noo! I don't want to!" He struggled a lot, kicking around wildly.

"Woah, kid – Aggh!" Yamamoto cried out in pain when Lambo managed to land a kick on his cast. He instinctively let go of Lambo.

Tsuna was shocked and immediately rushed to Yamamoto's side. "Yamamoto, a-are you okay?!" He checked for anything wrong with it, like blood or something.

Reborn looked at his arm and touched it. "It seems to be okay."

"It's okay, really," Yamamoto said shakily. "J-just a little bit stung."

"I'm s-sorry," Tsuna said. "I-I should have taken care of Lambo myself."

Yamamoto got up. "Nah, that's okay. I like kids." He pointed to his cast. "It'll get better soon, just need to shake it off."

"I-I don't think shaking it is the best idea."

"Tsuna-kun?" Kyoko popped out behind them, making them jump slightly in surprise.

"Y-yeah?" Tsuna stuttered. He tried ignoring that weird grin Yamamoto was giving him for some reason.

"Um, I saw Lambo-kun around the football field, and I thought you might want to know that," Kyoko said.

"W-what!" Tsuna looked around frantically. True, Lambo was indeed missing. No wonder it was so silent.

"Whoops, did I forget to tell you that?" Reborn smirked.

Tsuna glared at Reborn. "I should g-go get him."

Reborn hopped onto Tsuna's shoulder. Tsuna tried walking away, but saw two figures following him from behind.

"I-it's okay, I can handle him."

"I have some time anyway, with baseball practices out of my schedule," Yamamoto said.

"I got some candies for Lambo-kun," Kyoko added.

When they arrived to the field, they found people picking on him. The students got what appears to be Lambo's belonging and began tossing them around. It was just a friendly game for Lambo at first, but then they got his favourite bazooka that he liked so much.

"What's with this pink bazooka?" The male student pressed the trigger and was disappointed when it only puffed up pink smoke.

"Hey! Give back Lambo-sama's bazooka!" Lambo cried out.

"Dame-Tsuna, people are bullying someone who you're reluctant to admit to be in your household. What do you do?" Reborn said.

"Uh, that's a w-weird question."

Tsuna knew what he had to do. He had read too much heroism-themed manga to not know. He was just reluctant.

Reborn didn't give any warning and kicked Tsuna, causing the poor boy to fly into the dirt face-first in front of the older boys.

"Heeeyyy, who's this?" One of them nudged Tsuna's body with his feet.

Lambo perked up when he saw Tsuna. "Dame-Tsuna! Tell those jerks to give Lambo-sama back his stuff!"

"Who are you calling jerks?!"

Tsuna nervously lifted up his face. "U-uh, i-it's time to go back, Lambo," he stammered.

The boys looked at Tsuna as if they were surprised.

"Naked-Tsuna!" they called.

Tsuna groaned. He stood up while covering half of his lower face. 'Great. Apparently, that's my name now. Thank you, Reborn.'

"Lambo," Tsuna called and gestured the child to follow him to go back.

Lambo shook his head wildly. "NO! I want my stuff back!"

"Should we help Tsuna-kun?" Kyoko asked hesitantly. It seemed that Tsuna wasn't doing a very good job convincing Lambo to go back, especially when the older boys seemed to be fond of him for some reason.

Yamamoto opened his mouth to answer that they should, but he gave it a thought before saying, "I'm sure Tsuna can handle it himself." Come on, Tsuna! Girls love boys who are good with children!

According to chick flicks, that might be true.

Reborn nodded. "Yes. But if dame-Tsuna can't even handle that simple task himself…," he trailed off, his tone implied nothing but his expression was dark and promising of hell. He brushed Leon's back like how classic villains pet their evil cats in movies.

Kyoko yelp when one of the boys had given Tsuna a hard shove that resulted in him almost tripping onto the floor.

Yamamoto held out his arm to stop Kyoko from approaching. To assure her, he gave her a smile and said, "Don't worry. If it gets messy, we'll help."

When Tsuna politely and shakily asked for Lambo's belongings back, the other students thought it was unfair that naked-Tsuna of all people get to enjoy these cool stuffs (Now that Tsuna looked, they're mostly guns, a pink bazooka, grenades, some action figures, candies, candy wrappers and some other weird junk).

Tsuna wondered what were the 'cool stuffs' they were referring to.

"Dame-Tsuna!" Lambo started getting impatient and started hitting Tsuna's legs. "Get them back! Get them back! Get them back!"

"It's s-stealing if y-you do –"

A boy placed his arms on Tsuna's shoulder, as if they were close friends. "Don't be like that! We're schoolmates!"

"Yeah, giving us something isn't that big of a deal, right?"

Tsuna hesitated. He really didn't want to get into a fight. He looked at Lambo. "Lambo, m-maybe you should let them have –"

"No!" Lambo's expression of hurt inflicted guilt onto Tsuna. He glared at Tsuna. "If you're not helping Lambo-sama get them, t-then I will!"

Lambo bolted away and tackled the person holding his favourite gun. "Give it back! Give it back!"

The attacked teen yelled in panic before his friend got Lambo off and literally threw him aside.

"Why do you want it so badly?! You should have tons more at home!"

Lambo flinched at the last word. "You meanies! Those were given by Lambo-sama's father!" he exclaimed. He felt like giving up and did what any child would do; cry, cry and cry.

They were annoyed by the loud bawls and cries.

One of them tried stopping Lambo with a rough kick, but his foot were stopped by another foot.

"Give him back his belongings," Tsuna found himself saying gravelly, surprising everyone. But he kept a calm and serious look, one that didn't accept bullshitting from anyone.

They were angered.

"Who do you think you are?!"

"Just because you got a name around you think you could boss us?!"

Tsuna didn't say a word.

"Get him!"

They attacked him in unison mercilessly.

With each punch and kick, Tsuna barely managed to block or dodge it. But that didn't meant he was unscathed. Yet, Tsuna found himself calm in this situation when he should be panicking and whimpering like the pathetic shrimp he was. He felt this burst of energy inside of him, one that was threatening to explode anytime soon.

"If words can't get through you," Tsuna muttered, "maybe actions will."

As Tsuna delivered a punch aimed at the closest person at him, he thought for a second there he saw some orange flames on his hand.

The boy fell over when he was punched by the guts by the brunette. Tsuna shadowed over him and for some reason, his eyes seemed orange for just a moment there.

The boy looked at his friends for help desperately but they were dumbfounded, and they didn't dare to do anything, worried that they would be the infamous naked-Tsuna's next victims.

Tsuna pulled back his fist for another punch, making the boy yelp and cover his face with the toy pistol in his hands. Moments passed and he realized he had not felt pain. He peeked through the weapon and saw Tsuna's fist inches away from the pistol.

The fist opened, palm facing towards the sky.

The boy realized what he wanted and quickly pushed the pistol into Tsuna's palm before scrambling away. His friends realized what had happened and decided to quickly retreat before naked-Tsuna went crazy on them. Weird thing was that instead of the crazy outburst of energy that they heard about so much, Tsuna was much calmer this time and seemed just as strong.

Tsuna held Lambo's pistol and looked around to see Lambo's belonging scattered around. He sighed in relief. At least it's over now.

He felt a hand over his hands. He looked at the owner of the hands and froze when he saw Kyoko.

"Tsuna-kun, are you okay?" she asked with sincere worry reflected in her eyes.

Tsuna couldn't answer as his hand that was holding the pistol suddenly released a burst of flames, shocking everyone near him. But the brunette himself remained dazed and red-faced at Kyoko's sudden contact with him, oblivious to the whole outburst.

Yamamoto tapped onto Tsuna's shoulder and said, "You were totally cool! Like, you handled them like, woosh! Blam! Pew, pew!"

"Uh… t-thanks…?" Tsuna flushed at the compliment.

"Kyoko's totally impressed, I'm pretty sure of that," he whispered slyly.

"W-wha – Ack -!"

The brunette choked on his saliva, totally ungraceful. It was unbelievable that this person was the same as the person who managed to scare off the older students just now.

Reborn was tempted to give up on figuring Tsuna up, but his pride wouldn't let him. I don't think even Nono was this hard to figure out.

Tsuna seemed like an open book, but Reborn realized that figuring him out was like searching for an Internet word in an outdated dictionary.

Extra

The breeze blew into Nagi's hair gently as she watched Hibari's jacket flutter dramatically.

Nagi knew.

This moment would change her life -either for good or bad, she didn't know.

"Herbivore, you should go back to school like a good girl."

What a douche-bag.

Yup, she was right.

Sorry no preview this time.

Trivia:

-There's no future Lambo here because the bazooka doesn't work. Yet.

-Right now I've already decided on Tsuna's lover-san and am sorta satisfied with it.

-Though most of the others are still single.

-Also I want to make a tumblr account which would sometimes lemme share my drawings (deviantart has become troublesome lately) of this fic and some other fan art. Who knows, you might see some previews *winkwink*
