A/N: Hi everyone! Wow it's been a little over a year now since I've updated this... I'm so so sorry... gomen nasaiiiiii T_T. It's been a really, really hard year for me. I don't want to write a huge sob story, but here is a little lengthy paragraph so everyone knows what's going on. I've had a lot of health issues this past year. Basically I suffer from really horrible migraines that makes me unreliable, chronic neck pain (that prevents me from working), and I have gotten shots in my neck, done physical therapy, acupuncture, massage therapy, gotten MRI's, chiropractor... you name it. Nothing's helped :(. And on top of that, I have IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome—tummy problems)... which makes it hard to eat certain foods. I also have acid reflux, and now I have a new thing called Neurocardiogenic Syncope so I faint a lot/get light headed/dizzy feel weird/get anxiety and overheated... So overall, it's been really hard. I've been battling with some of this stuff for years, but the neck pain started in May of 2013, and the migraines became severe the past two years, as well as the fainting. So I'm really sorry I've been neglecting one of my favorite things to do—write fanfiction about my favorite manga and anime! It's really hard to sit at the computer for a long period of time.. my neck/back starts hurting :(. But I am going to try! I am going to try and do what I can. All of the stress of what has been going on has really taken a toll on me—I feel like I've lost a part of myself—I've even had dark thoughts... So I really want to try to retrieve a part of myself again—by writing and sharing it with you guys—or even if no one reads it, at least for myself, I just need to make myself happy a little... Thank you to those who read this :). I am searching for answers to make myself better and get back to being the happy 24 year old that I should be... so I will keep searching.. As long as I don't give up, I know that day will come.
Okay so enough of me, thank you all who read that! Here is chapter five, I hope you all enjoy! There is much more to come :D. Darkhope and I are rping again and are excited to share our fun with you all~
Notes: Italics are 'thoughts' (this is new starting this chapter, less confusing) as well as emphasis; also sometimes flashbacks.

Chapter 5
Stripped Liberation
Previously...
The second guard began cackling as well. "No, not ours. You're a special one. Your Boss' property."
At his words, Lucy looked at Happy, terrified. 'Boss' property?! Who the hell is that?' Happy returned the look and Lucy felt misery consume every last hope she had of saving everyone. 'Natsu...! I need you...!'
Rima remained silent in her cell, knowing all to well what was to come.
.
.
.
The stretch of vexation meandered through the dank air; the empty longing for freedom squelched by the guard's verbatim.
"Well hi there Rima-chan," the warden smirked. "The Boss said you weren't good yesterday like you were the other day... What happened?" he chastised, eyes hungry. "Need more practice with me?"
The crimson-haired girl spoke not a word, her eyes downcast. She was broken. Any more words from his fat mouth would rip apart her soul.
Lucy frowned; her expression turned sour. 'How can they talk to her like that?' The Fairy Tail mage stood slowly, her legs shaking from under her as she rose. "You're disgusting! Let us out of here right now!" she said forcefully, grabbing the bars with the little strength she had left. Mahogany eyes challenged their captors, but she was purposely ignored.
"I can't hear you, Rima-chan!"
"Go away..." she mumbled.
The blue Exceed looked up at the blonde, distressed. "Lucy..."
Suddenly his teammate was jerked forward, her arm forced through the spaces between the bar and yanked harshly until her shoulder was pinned against the cruel metal. The second warden snickered, "Feisty are we?" Pain seared up her outstretched limb as she yelped. "Oh, my bad."
"OW! Let... go of me!" Lucy tried to wiggle her arm free and her captor continued smirking, pulling her forward once again. Her arm began to pulsate, the skin underneath his grasp discoloring. The part of her shoulder pressed against the bar followed suit, her body covered in fresh bruises.
"Kent, let's show her to the boss." his companion said, no longer interested in badgering Rima. A long, rusty key was in his hand as he turned towards them.
"Right-o Kenji! After you." Kent released Lucy's arm when the gate swung open.
It all happened so fast.
Lucy staggered backwards, grunting in pain as she cradled her tender arm. Too quickly she felt a new pain; her head was pulled by her hair and she was thrust forward once again. She let out another anguished cry.
"LET HER GOOOOOO!" Happy yelled while flying into the sentinel. He'd felt his magic flow through him once the gate was released.
With an annoyed look and single swift motion, Kent whacked the Exceed's face. The cat was launched into the cell wall, falling unconscious at the impact. He slumped silently against the wall. "Shut up, you pest."
"HAPPY!" the celestial mage screamed, brown irises wide. Her face fell, crestfallen. 'Happy I'm sorry... Thank you for trying to protect me...'
A creak was heard as Kenji locked the cell again; Happy would not be able to escape. "Blondie," he said as she struggled in his grasp.
She would not go down without a fight. Not this Lucy Heartfilia. 'I have to try!' She gritted her teeth through the pain, fighting and kicking Kenji, resisting. "GET OFF ME!"
"Stop moving!" Kenji barked, kicking her side harshly. She coughed, fresh blood sopping her bandages. 'Ughh...this really..hurts...' Licking her red lips, her body instantly became numb. 'Noo... I'm really...going to get...'
Kent peered into Rima's cell, smirking at her trembling form. "Sit tight pretty thing, we'll be back for you later."
The red-haired mage watched helplessly, behind the magic repelling bars, as her new friend was dragged away to a horrible place she wished to all the heavens she could destroy. "Lucy... Happy..." she whispered mournfully. The guards disappeared into darkness and Rima rested her forlorn eyes on the blue Exceed's motionless body. She shut her lids tightly when Lucy's screams echoed the corridor.

(Previously...)
"WHAT THE—! JUVIA!" Gray yelled, unable to react in time. He had reached for her hand, but watched in a daze as Juvia was flung away from him. The wind knocked his lungs dry, pushing him to the floor where he felt Juvia's fall tremble the earth. Forcing his limbs to move, he got up slowly, body shaking with fury. "Who the hell—?!"
"Name's Ren," the blonde smirked.
"I don't give a shit what your name is!" Gray spat. He would waste no time, he had to defeat him. He had to get to Juvia, to see if she was okay. The bastard would pay. With an open palm and closed fist, the dark-haired man smashed them together, magic discharged. "Ice Make... SWORD!" A long katana formed in his right hand, and quickly he sprung forward; he slashed and slashed at Ren so he could find Juvia. 'I'll kill him! I swear I'll kill him!'
.
.
.
With every slash of his sword, Gray perceived Juvia's aura closer to his senses. 'She's got to be around here somewhere...' As he continued to strike his opponent, Ren evaded each attack, almost dancing around the ice blade.
"Is that all you've got?" Ren taunted, jumping back.
The dark-haired mage glared, twisting his blade up and sideways, slicing the ground beneath his enemy. "Ice Make... Geyser!" A pillar of ice surfaced from the ground he'd just crumbled, forcefully erecting into the sky. "Just getting started," he growled."
"Nngh!" Ren was caught off guard in mid air, his landing smacked into the face of the frozen water. Gravity pulled him into the iceberg as magic pushed the obstruction skyward. The icicles kept changing, morphing into themselves; multiplying.
Gray watched from below, holding his stance, his sword in both hands, ready to counter the blonde idiot. But he had to find his partner. 'Where is she...?' he asked himself, frustrated. His eyes left the sky open, ocean depths skimming the surroundings momentarily; any signs of blue hair would be wonderful right about now...
And that was his mistake.
From above, Ren plummeted to the ground, wind accumulating around his fist. He held his elbow underneath him with his knuckles tight as he extended his arm fiercely, pulverizing Gray with an uppercut to the stomach. "That woman is coming back with me!" he declared.
The wind howled around them as the attack hit hard, sending the Fairy Tail mage soaring through tree branches and foliage. "AUGH!" His figure disappeared from the gang member's sight at the aftermath of destroyed tree debris and uplifted dust that was left in his wake.
"Hmph. That was easy..." Ren commented dryly, waiting a few seconds before beginning his search for the female. "She should be around here somewhere... I feel her." he snickered. Googely eyes scanned over the woods, taking in the greens and browns, until an unusual blue was spotted laying beside the bark of one of the deciduous trees. "Well now..."
With steps that barely made a sound, the purple-eyed man sauntered over to Juvia's unconscious form. She lay on the grass, her face to the side, eyes closed. There was dried blood against her scalp, a wound where her head had hit the tree trunk, parts of her hair stained with the red liquid.
"I guess you hit your head there, hun." He stopped in front of her lifeless form, chuckling to himself. "I wonder if the boss would be mad if I had fun with you first... Heh." On his knees now, he put a cold hand on Juvia's face. With his other hand, he wrapped an arm around her back and pulled her into a vertical position. He pushed her against the tree and leaned into her neck, inhaling her skin. "Mm... Just like fresh rain." Wanting more of the delicious scent, Ren opened his mouth and swirled his tongue against the pale skin. He trailed his saliva up and down, closing his mouth to capture the sweet taste, to suck the pleasurable scent. "Oh I think I'll really have some fun with you before Boss does...Heheh," he whispered perversely before sucking her neck hard.
Behind the two, past the ice geyser, the dust and other forest parts, where the fallen ice mage was flung, there was movement that was unnoticed; Gray was struggling to get up. He was covered in cuts from various tree limbs, his clothes were torn, and his vision was fuzzy. "Shit..." Pulling himself together, he slowly rose to his feet, blood spilling from the cut on his head. He blinked from the blurred vision—now red—and wiped his face with his sleeve. 'This isn't right... How can I get taken down from a measly punch?!'
The ice mage narrowed his eyes, feeling both Ren's and Juvia's power still in the vicinity. 'I... have to hurry up!' Temporarily forgetting his injuries because of other very important matters, Gray dashed forward through the path paved from his previous rendezvous. When he reached the clearing, the sight he saw made Natsu's embers pale in comparison to Gray's fiery rage.
Juvia could not defend herself against that disgusting man, and his mouth was attached to her neck. Gray's blood boiled and boiled over some more.
Oh no.
Shit just got real.
He was dead.
Sprinting behind his ice sculpture was a distraction, because the dust he left in his wake was too quick for Ren to react to his presence. When the googely member finally noticed where he was, it was too late. "What the—?!"
Behind him, Gray stood stoic, onyx hair covering his eyes. "You sick, sadistic bastard." A firm hand grabbed the blonde by the back of his neck, choking him stupid. With his sword in his other, Gray thinly sliced the front of Ren's neck, careful not to cut his own fingers. In the next few seconds, Gray surged magic through the hand choking the googely man, shoving a finger slightly into the open wound in his neck. The blood began to freeze quickly, traveling through the veins into the internal organs.
"Is it cold?" Gray said as he let go, the blonde completely iced from the inside out.
Stepping over the corpse, Gray knelt down and grasped the water mage to his chest, picking her up from the ground. He eyed her neck, his expression changing. "...disgusting." Gently, he used his sleeve to wipe the saliva from it. "Juvia...?" With no response, he tried again, this time with more concern in his voice. "Oi... Juvia?"
With a groan, Juvia moved her head slowly, opening half-lidded eyes. "Gray-sama...?"
"Are you alright?" He noted the dried blood in her hair.
"Wh...What happened... to Juvia...?" She felt strange, like she was moving.
And she was warm.
Was she always this warm?
'Wait a minute...' Within seconds the water mage realized she was in her Gray-sama's arms and began blushing profusely. Her eyes opened fully now, and her usual daydreaming ensued. "Is Gray-sama practicing for our wedding?!"
"...uh..." Gray just shook his head and started walking toward the hideout that the bastard Ren had been guarding before. "You were unconscious."
"Sorry Gray-sama... Juvia wasn't any help..." She looked down sadly, her cerulean depths trailing to the few steps that they'd taken away. Upon noticing the corpse, she gasped loudly. 'That man is completely frozen!'
"Eh, it was nothing. Don't worry about it." Gray knew why she gasped and stopped mid step, also looking at the deceased guard. "Oh, yeah... uh... he's dead."
Juvia sweatdropped, bringing her face back up to Gray. "Juvia can see that..." She was still extremely blissful that she was in her Gray-sama's arms, and nothing would spoil that. Not even a dead guy! "Thank you for saving Juvia, Gray-sama," she exclaimed with a smile.
"Aa," the ice mage nodded, a small smirk on his face. He began walking again, not bothered by Juvia in the least. She was actually quite light, despite her large assets. Gray mentally whacked himself; Makarov would be proud, but he sure wasn't. 'I have to stop with this inner conscious crap.'
Even though the water mage was annoying and he didn't want to admit that they were partners, he was glad that he decided to accompany her on this mission. Damn if he hadn't... Who knows what else could have happened. The image of what had transpired before still burned in his mind, and Gray felt his blood baking all over again. Though he felt bad for Juvia most... she was the one that had the dirty hickey. And he didn't even do it!
Not that he wanted to.
Or so he convinced himself.
The Fairy tail mages stopped in front of the barred entrance to the mouth of the cave, partially hidden by a thicket of brush. "Will you be alright to stand?" Gray asked.
"Yes," Juvia answered. The throbbing of her head had dulled, and she felt her magic could be controlled again at full capacity without the pressure.
With a gentle swing of his arms, and her legs, the water mage was standing in an upright position beside the ice mage; together they would enter the hideout to save their nakama.

The dank passageway was ending soon, and Lucy knew precious time was slipping away as the two sentinel guided her to their Boss. She did the only thing she could do when squirming within their grasp was futile: use her healthy lungs and project her voice outward. "HELPPPP! LET ME GO! SOMEBODYYY! AHHHHHHHHH!"
"This bitch won't shut the fuck up, eh?. Well if she won't shut up now, I can't wait to hear her when the boss is with her," Kenji commented wryly, a sadistic laugh escaping his fat lips.
His partner, Kent, wasn't humored. After wincing, he growled, turning to the blonde; he towered over her. He raised his hand up and swung it down with an open palm.
SLAP.
The sound reverberated against the stone walls, probably reaching all the way back to her original cell with her forgotten friends. The Fairy Tail mage choked out a muffled sob, unable to touch her tender cheek since her arms were no longer her own. She tried to caress the inside of the swollen cheek with her tongue, shaking from the fresh pain and terror she now felt. '...Nat..su...'
"Much better," Kent observed, satisfied with his work; he'd shut the pipsqueak up.
Kenji nodded and looked ahead, a large, russet door with shackles nailed into it looming over them. He halted, forcing Lucy to stop dragging her feet. "The doctor should be available now."
"Aa." Kent stepped forward to grasp the brass handle, pushing down and unhooking the latch. The muscles under his black clothes rippled as he slid the heavy door open, allowing Kenji to drag their prisoner through the chasm before he slid it closed.
There was a lone, metal table in the center of the room where Lucy was laid upon against her will. A ringed lamp bore into her wide eyes, and she thrust her arms and legs up, trying to escape. The Googley Gang members gripped her wrists and ankles easily, making her attempts at freedom seem like a faraway dream.
Out of the corner of her mahogany pools, another man appeared, height exceeding her keepers. He approached them slowly, wearing the same attire; even with the white mask covering his mouth, Lucy never missed the twinkle in his violet, googley eyes.
Standing over her, he held a vial in one hand and in the other, a large needle. "Mmm, so this is the prized possession..." his voice lacquered with lust commented idly.
Tremors began uncontrollably in her body, and Lucy fearfully looked up at the man towering over her. "Wh-Who-Who are you...?!"
"Meet the doctor… Doctor Boss."
"Wh-What...? A doctor...?!" Her vision captured the needle he was preparing and she began hyperventilating. "Wh-What's... that?!"
"You'll find out soon sweetheart. Hold her down Kenji, Kent."
"NOOOO! HELPPPP!" Lucy screamed at the top of her lungs, thrashing her body back and forth, frightened for her life.
"Right-o Boss," Kenji affirmed, taking hold of both her wrists tightly. Kent silently nodded his obligation and tightened his wide hands around Lucy's ankles, the increased compression ceasing the girl's movements to restricted jerks.
Without hesitation, the Boss snickered as he stabbed the Fairy Tail mage's bruised arm. At the sudden pain she cried out, tears prickling at her eyes. "Now... You should feel very relaxed..." the Boss said with a satisfied smirk, watching as Lucy's eyelids began to droop.
Lucy's vision began to falter, her sight going in and out of focus. 'What is this... I can't think straight... Everything feels...augh... My head is swirling... I feel so tired... I can't see...blurry... I need to...get out of here...' Panic coursed through her veins when she realized she could no longer move her limbs. She tried desperately to wiggle her fingers but her body would not obey her will. It was becoming increasingly difficult to sift through her thoughts in the haze that was clouding her brain. 'Why...? I... I...'
"You can let her go now, boys. She can no longer move her body. It's time to play."
"Yes sir," the guards said in unison as they released their hold on the celestial mage. When their Boss wanted to play, that meant they were about to get a delectable show. And they couldn't wait to have the scraps.

(Previously...)
"We have to get to her... I really feel her magic slipping away. She may pass out soon. I also think she's bleeding out; it's becoming increasingly harder to sense her life energy." Loke said gravely as his legs picked up speed. "Natsu, you have to save her... We already saved the future.. She can't die now... Not like this..." He felt his heart crumble at his own words, not wanting to remember future Lucy's death.
"She's still bleeding?! It was that wound from so long ago..." Natsu growled, clenching a fist near his heart. He would never let her die in front of him again... With another breath, the fire mage caught a whiff of the smell he'd been wanting for so long. He felt relief wash over his soul, but then his resolve hardened. "We're near... I can smell her... THERE'S NO WAY SHE WILL DIE! Just a bit longer and we should be there! HURRY LOKE!"
Loke nodded, understanding how important their timing was to his master. "She might bleed out... Crap! She's moving! Without hesitation Loke dashed to the right, beckoning Natsu to follow with a quick hand. "It's this way!"
.
.
.
"HOW MUCH FURTHER DAMNIT?!" the dragon slayer bellowed. It seemed like they were running for an eternity. Her scent was so close but they never seemed to get any closer. He collapsed to the floor, fists clenched.
"Natsu calm down! I'm just as anxious as you are, but it won't solve anything if you start losing your senses!" the Zodiac spirit countered, feeling like they were running in circles as well. 'It really doesn't make any sense though... She should be right here. Where the heck is their hideout?' Then it dawned on him. As he watched Natsu breathe fire out of his nostrils and punch the ground—the tremors reached him; he was enlightened. "Natsu!"
"WHAT?!"
"I said calm down!"
"Argh! ...It's just so frustrating!" the salmon-haired man continued to punch the ground, ready to destroy everything in his path until Lucy appeared.
"What you're doing is correct."
Natsu stared blankly at Loke. "Huh?"
"I figured it out because of what you're doing! I feel Lucy's energy and magic all around us here, and it's dwindling but I feel it so strongly here... and what you did just now—destroying the ground! Just destroy the earth Natsu! She's UNDERNEATH us!"
As soon as the words left Loke's lips, Natsu stood up, crimson flames licking his body. "Why didn't you say so in the first place...? I'M ALL FIRED UP!" The dragon slayer's body burst into flames as he held his hands together, preparing an attack. He dashed forward, running along a tree, against gravity. If he could build enough momentum, he could slam into the earth with enough force to break it apart. As soon as he reached the top of the forest, he slammed his fists together.
::-::-::-::-::-::-::-::-::-::-::-::-::-::-::-::-::-::
As the Boss began to slice the rest of Lucy's ripped shirt with his jagged fingernail, a vibration was felt underneath their feet. The oddity caused both guards to raise their eyebrows.
"Kent! Let's check it out," Kenji said, walking toward the russet door adorned with shackles. He used his brute strength to bring forth the chasm once more.
"O.K." Kent answered, following suit. He passed his fellow warden, the door sliding shut behind them; the Boss would under no circumstances be disturbed from his prized possession.
As Kenji stood at his post beside Kent, the shuffling behind the door was not the only noise he heard. "I swear I hear something..." Purple irises scanned the area, not observing anything unusual.
"Maybe down the corridor...?" Kent offered.
"I don't—"
BOOM.
A huge explosion erupted from the wall Kenji had been facing; flames licked the air and pieces of stone burst all around the passageway from the source of impact. He fell backwards, knocking into the opposite side of the wall from the velocity of the blast. "WHAT THE FUCK?"
"GAHHHHH!" Having a similar reaction, Kent flew on top of his comrade, their lungs expelling air in sync.
A masculine voice echoed through the last of the broken wall, a figure emerging from the crevice in haste. "LUCYYYYYYYYY!" His fists swirled with crimson flames, balling at his sides while his chest heaved from the exertion he'd used. Strained onyx irises darted around, dust and smoke surrounding him. 'Damnit...where is she...?!'
Loke stepped out from behind Natsu, two fingers pushing his glasses up to see better. Resolutely, he felt his master's presence, but it had grown so weak—as if it were wavering. He didn't have time to analyze the situation, he just knew that it was dire. As he was turning his head for another once over, brown eyes picked up movement on the left. The lion spirit elbowed Natsu, motioning him to follow; they approached the source, kicking rubble in their way.
"Augh..." Kenji groaned, rubbing his head as he sat up, rolling Kent off him in the process. The warden landed on the floor with his own grunt.
"Where is she?" Loke asked fiercely, regarding the toppled over googely men with cinders in his dark gaze.
One of the fat men looked startled at the sudden voice, then just as quickly regained his composure as hard lines settled in between his eyes. "How the hell did you get in here!?"
Natsu growled, ignoring the question. "Where is Lucy?!"
"Don't avoid my question, scum!"
The ogre sentinel both stood up, furious. Kent finally understood the situation; the two skinny scum were there to rescue Boss' prized possession. "The hell?! You skinny shits. Who do you think you are!"
"Bastards..." Natsu gritted his teeth, a fist pulsing with flames, about to destroy the two imbeciles in front of him—but Loke put his arm out, temporarily stopping his rage.
"Natsu, I feel her presence—in that room!" he stated firmly, lifting his arm. He pointed to a large and shabby, wooden door a few yards from where they were standing. The front was covered in rusty shackles, a brass handle and latch the means to enter. Though Loke knew better; the dragon slayer didn't know how to open doors the normal way.
Without a second glance, the fire mage turned away from the Zodiac spirit. He sprinted toward the entryway, pumping magic into his legs.
"Hah... There's no way he can break down the door. That door weighs a ton and has a bind on it," Kent cackled, observing Natsu's actions. Just as the words left his mouth, the salmon-haired man jumped straight into the vertical obstruction, leg extended. When his foot made contact, the wood sank in, cracked and exploded into hundreds of pieces. The Googely Gang members stood with their jaws open, bewildered.
Loke took the opportunity to run past them, following Natsu into the room beyond the broken russet door.
"LUCY!" Natsu called out, searching for his lost partner. Onyx eyes were met with an unsightly scene, and he felt something die inside him. The once internal pulse burning him began to chill, and Natsu figured, 'This is how Gray must feel all the time.'
The man he had seen hours ago, that had taken his precious girl from him—was there, on top of—her... He could smell arousal in the air; it made him sick. A needle was cast aside on the floor, indicating Lucy had something pumped through her bloodstream. Her scent was off...
And she was naked.
And he was practically naked.
'DAMNIT!'
The fire mage started seething. His eyes scalded the image, burning it into his memory forever. He would not forgive the detestable lard. Never, never, NEVER!
Distress crossed Loke's face as he approached the unforgivable spectacle. "What the—Lucy?! Who the hell are you—get the hell off of her!" Just as he was about to grab the googely man's overwhelming bicep, Natsu smacked his hand away. The threatening aura surrounding him settled the lion spirit's puzzled eyes.
The Boss turned himself around, licking his lips as if he had a good meal. "Guards!" he barked. Within seconds Kent and Kenji were huffing and puffing in what was left of the chasm. "Kill them."
"Right-o Boss." Kenji saluted, smirking. Then the googely men's hair on their necks stood up, a formidable presence behind them. They were too late.
"REGULUS!" Without bothering with formalities, Loke punched them skyward. The ceiling welcomed them, the bottom half of their bodies ungracefully dangling from the cracks. And the red blood that trickled down the broken earth wasn't really Loke's intention, but he shrugged it off as he locked eyes with the leader. "Seems they can't."
The Boss grinned, "Oh? There's plenty more where they came from." He chuckled mid sentence, "I won't give this luscious virgin back, she tasted too good." Then the grin faded, observing Natsu's face instead; the features began to transform, the dragon slayer's body heat rising alarmingly.
It all happened so fast.
Loke watched in trepidation as Natsu was next to him one second, then slamming the googely leader face first into the floor the next. A strangled howl escaped the man's fat lips, and Loke knew a certain bone was broken that had been hard because of his master. Loke felt a bit queasy; it was a very uncomfortable situation. He glanced at Lucy and felt his face redden, quickly looking away. 'Shit I need to go over and help her...' Then Loke cringed as Natsu uppercutted the Boss' jaw, a sickening crack echoing the crumbling cavern. 'But I need to make sure Natsu doesn't lose it either.'
After a few more deadly punches and lethal kicks, Natsu ignited his skin. "Now you will burn," he snarled vehemently. And the broken body on the floor, bleeding from more places than inflicted, went up in flames.
"Natsu," Loke said sternly. Said mage looked up maniacally, blood lust in his eyes. "Please, don't lose yourself. Lucy needs you."
At the mention of her name, the dragon slayer's body began to regress, the scales disappearing from his face and arms. His skin prickled but he paid no mind; his concern was now for the helpless girl laying unconscious on the metal table across from him. He closed the gap between them, staring at her lifeless form. The more he looked, the more his face turned scarlet. "Uh..." He shook his head, forgetting that she was naked and that he needed to get her out of the situation and wake her up. "LUCY!" he tried, putting his hands on her shoulders to shake her gently. "Wake up! Lucy!" It was then he noticed the bruises that lined her shoulder all the way down to her elbow. He immediately ceased his actions.
A pained moan escaped her lips, but nothing more. Natsu's expression fell, worry for his partner etched there. Another bruise from her eye to her lips, where there was dried blood. The salmon-haired man cursed under his breath, bringing a hand to her cheek. "You'll be okay..." he whispered to her, onyx pools desolate. "Loke! She's not responding... Let's get out of here for now. We need to find Happy and the others still!"
"Right..." the Zodiac spirit agreed, slipping off his suit jacket. "Here. Let Lucy wear this for now. We have to get out of here first and then I can summon Virgo for her clothes."
Without trying to look at the spirit mage more than he had to, Natsu slipped the jacket on her awkwardly. He scooped her up into his arms carefully, looking down at her face, then trailing to her exposed cleavage. 'Argghh I forgot to button it!' After setting her down again, averting his gaze and fastening the two button closure, he brought her to his chest once more. 'I feel just as filthy as those bastards that did this to her...'
"We have to leave Natsu. Your fury from before is going to engulf us too if we don't exit now." A silent nod told Loke the fire mage and his master were ready. He took off, running for the aperture they'd previously created.
As he ran alongside the lion spirit, Natsu clutched Lucy tighter to him, his chest raw. 'I hope they didn't actually...'
