Dany got home from her rather eventful first day, headed straight up to her room, slammed the door, not that there was any one home to witness her rage, and plopped face down on her bed, groaning. After laying there for a few minutes, she turned on her TV, which was showing a re-run of her favorite show. The main character used her dragons to restore peace to her world and defend a kingdom of fools against a much bigger threat. A hero. She didn't feel like crying really. It's not that she had a sad day, it's just that she knew what she was up against now. High School. And not just any high school. West Terros was worse than the real high schools in any of the movies she had seen. The mean people were even jerkier and the nice people were even more clueless. They might have tried a little bit harder not to become stereotypes… Nonetheless, she was not about to let herself become one of these mindless followers, but then, if she tried to do her own thing, Cersei would have no problem ostracizing her from every group… No. Dany would either have to assimilate or beat them at their own game. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em, as they saying went. But for Dany, she knew she must not join them, and had to beat them. She already had an idea of how…

She walked downstairs to examine what she could possibly make for dinner, but heard a deep grunty voice coming from the living room. Her parent's weren't home and her brother's voice was just a teeny bit lower than her own. She peeked around the corner and saw her brother and the horse shirt boy she had run into earlier that day sitting on the couch with Viserys. Obviously Viserys had plans for this new friend of his. He would never hang out with someone like the horse kid for his own pleasure. In fact, he rarely hung out with anyone for his own pleasure. Dany wondered what his plans were for this boy. She tiptoed back into the kitchen, really wanting to avoid any interaction with her brother and his weird "friend."

"Oh sweet sisterrrrrr! I hear you in there! Come meet my new friend," hollered Viserys.

Dammit, thought Dany. He had heard her. She rolled her eyes and started over towards the living room again.

"DANY. You're being so rude to my guest! If you're going to take so long, might as well bring us some sandwiches!" Viserys chuckled to himself. Horse boy let out a forced grunt-laugh.

Dany sighed. "Thanks, Viserys." She turned to horse-shirt boy. He was still in his cutoff jean shorts and that majestic mustang ran across the open plains of his t-shirt. He was about twice the size of her brother, with hair in a long ponytail that reached down the whole of his back. He was big, but not fat. He was a little rough around the edges, but not dirty. In fact, he was actually very good-looking.

Noticing Dany's lingering stare, his mouth twisted into a smile, he held out his hand, and said in a deep voice with an inkling of an accent, "Hi Dany. I'm Drogo."

"Hello, Drogo," replied Dany, coolly.

Viserys looked between the two of them and clapped his hands together. "Well, I'll leave you two to talk, then!" Viserys got up swiftly and left out the front door, slamming it behind him. Dany groaned. Clearly he was up to something.

She looked over at Drogo, who seemed unphased. "Ah, I'm sorry… Why did he...? Um, how are you?" Dany said awkwardly. Wasn't this guy supposed to be from the beaten side of the tracks? Cersei said he had been to jail…

Drogo just smiled. This was a little weird. Dany fidgeted. Then, he spoke in his deep, and slightly exotic, voice. "Your brother…. He listened to the rumors. There's a lot of them at West Terros, Dany, you should be more careful about what you believe. I haven't been to jail… exactly. Anyway, Viserys quickly picked up on the vicious nature of high school, our high school, and knows he must be on top, he must rule, if things are to go his way. He thinks that I have some sort of sway at West Terros, which, I may or may not. But, the thing is, your brother is an idiot." He smiled. Dany nodded- yes, Viserys was a cruel idiot. "I only listened to him because he said he was your brother. I wouldn't worry about him, though. You seem pretty special, Dany. I saw you walking around with Cersei and Marge all day. Keep being their friend, for now."

Dany frowned. It's like he knew what her plan was. And it seemed like Viserys had the same one, although he would certainly fail. He had no idea how to go about it. Being friends with the "tough" kids like Drogo, wouldn't exactly push either of them to the top. She crossed her arms. "What do you mean, keep being their friend, for now?" she asked Drogo.

"You'll see. Before you can do anything, you need to get to know some other people. It'll happen, soon. Do you want to go for a walk?" He got up off the couch and held his hand out to her. She didn't really have a choice. She took his hand, stood up, and they walked around the nearby Dothrak Park for a couple of hours. He told her some more about West Terros, and she told him a little bit about what she wanted to do… just a little bit. It seemed like he got it though. He got her. He didn't seem to care that she had a bit of an agenda. He was a little scary at first, but he was also kind of hot… but really cool.

It started to get dark, and Drogo walked her home, back to her front door. "Well… welcome to West Terros, Dany." He smiled and gave her an all-encompassing hug, his giant self wrapped around her tiny self, and then walked away.

"Bye!" she said, slightly dazed. She walked back inside, went to her room, her mind racing with thoughts of school tomorrow and Drogo's hug.

The rest of her first week passed by without incident. She still hung around Cersei and Marge, who seemed to like adopting her into their little group, although she was clearly much like their little pet who they kept around for novelty's sake. Dany knew she had to keep it up though, to get her grasp of the school its interworkings. Cersei introduced her to the myriad of guys they hung out with. One of which was Jaime, who was actually related to Joff, and had the same golden flowy hair as him, but was much more brawny and all around good-looking. Really, he kind of looked like he shouldn't still be in high school… It also turned out that Sansa and Joff were actually part of Cersei's group, even though Cersei and Marge not-so-secretly hated Sansa. She found out that Cersei and Joff were actually second cousins or something like that, and that they had another cousin at the school named, Tyrion, but that he was awful and hung out with the drama geeks. When Marge wasn't with Cersei, she wouldn't be seen without her gay best friend, Renly.

Thoroughly taking advantage of Cersei's intimate knowledge of the school and everyone in it, Dany would take their lunch hour to figure out who was in what group and where each group sat. She saw Tyrion sitting with a bunch of quirky looking theater-types. Sansa and Joff were making out in a corner, quite obviously, but for a moment Dany thought she saw Joff wink at Marge as she walked by. Marge giggled and ran back to sit down next to Cersei and Dany. On the other side of the cafeteria, Dany saw Drogo, sitting with a few other hipster types, all with cutoffs on and some weirdo animal shirt. She smiled at him when she knew Cersei wasn't looking. Behind Drogo, she saw a guy sitting alone. He looked normal enough, he was wearing the West Terros High football t-shirt, and he had thick wavy brown hair that went down to his chin. What was it with guys at this school and long hair?

She tapped Cersei and was about to ask her who he was when a loud voice behind them said, "Ahhh! Thanks for saving me a spot bros!" The voice came from a different guy, also wearing the West Terros football jersey. He gave Jaime a hearty smack on the back and squeezed his way onto the table. "My GOD it sure is cold outside! Winter is coming soon! You coming to tryouts tonight Jaime? Joff? I sure hope so!" He laughed heartily. "We need all the talent we can get to beat those Northside High Ice Walkers! Did you hear that we're choosing a new mascot? Guess the 'West Terros Stags' weren't intimidating enough!" Not noticing the weird tension that sprung up as soon as he sat down, he started to eat his piece of pizza happily. Cersei visibly rolled her eyes, and whispered something in Jaime's ear that made him laugh hysterically.

"Dany," said Cersei, "this is Rob. He was captain of the football team last year. Don't worry, they're supposed vote for a new one at the beginning of every school year."

"Hi Dany!" said Rob. "Oh Cers," he playfully punched her in the arm a little aggressively, "coach Ned said that we sure will be voting fairly for a new captain this year, once we have a few week of practice."

"Oh, whatever," said Cersei. "Who even cares about football anyway. We should probably start focusing on our campaigns for me to win homecoming queen. Did you guys hear that this year, the king and queen get to pick the new mascot? Obviously, it will be me, but we should totally do lions, wouldn't that be cool?" Cersei flipped her own long blonde mane. Dany imagined claws coming out of her long, sharp, hot-pink nails.

Marge looked visually offended at this. "Cers, you were on homecoming court last year, you were junior princess! You're probably not even allowed to be able to do it again…"

"YES, I can. Mr. Baelish said so. There are no rules against repeat winners. I can't help it if people like me," said Cersei. "Don't worry, Marge," she continued, "I'm sure you'll at least be nominated, and then you totally get to participate in the homecoming court stuff anyway! That's the fun part."

"When are nominations?" Dany piped in.

"In a few weeks," answered Jaime lazily. "Tyrion's president of student council, so he gets to set the date."

"Ewwwwww," said Cersei. "That little twerp will probably rig it so one of his loser friends will win."

"Oh please, Cers, like he could actually ever have any power over the student body. He only won president because everyone felt bad for him," said Marge. They all looked over at the table Tyrion was at. He raised his eyebrows at them from across the room, and flipped them off. Cersei and Marge gasped. Jaime didn't seem to notice anything that had just happened. Dany snorted her soda.

"I HATE him," declared Cersei. "WHY do people even like him. He clearly exists to ruin my life."

Robb laughed. "Hey, sweetie, he's not so bad. Leave him alone. It's not like he'll ever be like one of us." Cersei gave Robb a wide-eyed fake grin.

"OHHHH kay then," Cersei said as she got up, looking at Marge and Dany expectantly. "We have to go to the bathroom. Bye!"

Dany didn't have to go to the bathroom, but she got up and followed Cersei anyway.

"SEE what we have to deal with at this school Dany? Everyone is SO lame. I seriously don't get why Rob always sits with us… He's not even friends with us. He's just okay at football," explained Cersei, although Dany hadn't asked.

"Why don't you like him?" asked Dany.

"Um, well for one, he is Sansa's brother. And she is the worst ginger-freak bitch EVER," snapped Cersei. "God, I just hate all of them. Sansa, Rob… their creepy loner step-brother. What's even his name again? Who cares."

"Well… doesn't he also know about you and-" started Marge.

"SHUT. UP," said Cersei dangerously. Something struck a chord there, noted Dany. She would have to investigate that further. Marge seemed like the key to cracking Cersei, and to do what she had to do, Dany knew she had to crack Cersei. "And aren't Sansa and Joff just so… eghhh. It's like keep it to yourselves, guys. I don't even get what he sees in her. You're way prettier Marge… Maybe it's because you're not very smart?" She patted Marge on the shoulder consolingly. Marge looked horrified. Then, the bell rang, and lunch was over. "Bye girls!" Cersei blew a kiss to Marge and Dany, and Marge scurried out after her.
