A/N: I can't begin to say how much I'm sorry for the late, late, late chapter. Nothing excuses me not updating for like more than a month. I feel incredibly terribly writing this but I just lost that spark I once held for this story. It's slowly coming back and I hope to get back to regular updating soon.
Also, there is a flashback/ back story thing that I am including to give a, well boost per say, for future plans for Rose Red and it may concern Snow White and her mother. ;) Also, the timeline is horribly messed up in this. My only excuse is that I'm ignoring the Father Pan stuff, hopefully that makes the timelines make more sense.
Also, I redid the "kiss" in the last chapter.
Guest: More because she still is new to her powers, though being very angry aided Thea with her escape too. Thank you for your review!
Guest 2: I'm so so so sorry for the bad updating! I promise it updates will be much more frequent!
Immediately Rose Red turned to Peter. "What did you do to her?" She exasperatedly asked him, pinching the bridge of her nose.
"Me? Why would I do something like that?" He asked her with false innocence. A darkly amused smile on his face.
"Well if you want me to-"
"Rose Red, who's he?" Milania question, pointing a thin hand at Peter Pan.
"Hello there, I'm-"He began, walking over with an air of charm.
"The biggest annoyance you'll ever meet." Rose Red cut him off dryly. "Why don't you go to the clearing, I'll be down in a moment."
"Now for you," She stood up and narrowed her eyes. "Where is Thea?"
"Wouldn't you like to know?" All smiles, no matter how fake, where gone and the cold look filled his eyes once more.
"Pan," She snapped, "I'm not joking, where is Thea?"
"Guess you'll just have to find her." He flew out of the window with that making her want nothing more than to strangle him.
She let out a rage filled shriek. First he kissed her, then she finds out he took one of her Free Girls. Rose Red began to laugh darkly.
"Oh poor Peter Pan doesn't even understand what he just started."
"So, how is our guest doing?"
One of the lost boys squinted up at Peter, "She keeps yelling and shaking the cage. If she doesn't stop now then she might break it."
Peter looked up at the cage above them, moving rapidly and screams pouring out of it. "I know the perfect place for her. Boys take her to Echo Cave!"
Haggard looking grins formed on each dirty face, excitement filling them knowing exactly what Pan had planned out.
They got to work fast, cutting the vine and sending Thea and her cage crashing to the floor sending dirt flying. Their wicked smiles never left their faces as they dragged her away, Pan flying above them. Crossing the forest, the finally reach the opening for the cave. Pan flew forward and cast his magic to create the bridge to the platform in the middle.
"You'll never get away with this! Anastasia will save me!" Thea shrieked out when she finally felt the cage stop its movement.
All was silent, leaving her to believe that they were gone. Sighing in defeat, she slumped in the middle of the cage, hope dwindling from her.
"See the thing is, Thea, I'm counting on her saving you." Pan told her sounding far away after a moment.
Foreverland had fallen dark as the hours passed by, the flowers closed up, the Free Girls all crowded around in one girls tree being too afraid on their own, and Rose Red was in her own pacing around. Her eyebrows were drawn together as she paced, trying to think of how to get Thea back. Deep down inside a voice proposed just leaving her, though she quickly dismissed it after a moments consideration justifying that she'd gone to too much trouble to get her here to just let her die on Neverland.
She sighed, ceasing her pacing and falling down onto her bed face first.
"It's hopeless Bear." She said muffled by the bed to her cub. She rolled over and looked up at the ceiling. It was covered in intricate carvings of leaves.
With a gasp she sat up. "Oh! Bear if I figured out a way to hide me and my magic then I could hide in the trees and just wait for one of them to lead me to her!"
Bear lifted up his face, watching as she ran out of the room, before deciding to follow her. With a hop in each paw, he skipped over. Only to have the doorway become solid right before he could leave, he let out an indignant huff before plopping onto the ground.
Out in the clearing, Rose Red stopped her walking. How was she going to hide herself with magic when to be honest she could barely use it? A thought crossed her mind, an annoyed look following it. With reluctance she opened her mouth.
"Shadow!"
Flashback in Enchanted Forest:
"Are you sure you want to do this your Majesty?"
A sigh was heard from somewhere in the carriage. A woman with elegantly tied up black hair and bold blue eyes sat dressed in a beautiful dress. In her lap a baby was wrapped up in a blanket. In front of her sat her handmaid Esvina, looking at the Queen unsurely.
"This must be done," Princess Eva replies tersely. "Think of what the kingdom would say about the Princess having a child before marriage. With a servant no less."
"But, we could just hide the ch-"
"No, I've made my decision Esvina." She interrupted, not glancing down at the sleeping child in her lap. Refusing to look at it. "I've hidden away enough; I won't do the same for her."
"Of course your Majesty." Esvina complied, looking down at her lap.
The carriage fell silent as it continued its journey. It wasn't long until they arrived in their destination: Kleines Dorf. It was a truly unhappy looking place. An eternal snow fell over the village and it was all gray and white. Not to mention a long way from where Princess Eva's castle resided. The Princess held her head high, feeling Esvina lift the child out of her lap.
"Wait," She said softly as Esvina went to exit the carriage. Esvina watched as Princess Eva took something out of her hair and placed it into the sleeping baby's hands, tucked into the blanket and away from Esvina's sight.
She watched as Esvina left the carriage and went to a near cottage where she then knocked on the door and a man and woman answered the door, smiling at the sight of the arrival they had been anticipating for weeks. Esvina, after handing the child to them, hurried away from the cold and back into the carriage where it took off. The Princess kept her head turned away as they left.
The man and woman looked down at the child that was theirs now. Smiling broadly, the sat her down in her cradle and left the room to say goodbye as the man left for work, being a blacksmith. Neither of them heard the child stirring in her cradle. Nor did they see the object that fell out from the blanket.
A bright red rose.
A/N: Insanely short, but it's a set up for the next chapter.
Also, I wanted to know if you guys want Rose Red to end up in Storybrooke with the curse Regina placed. I do have ideas for it and such, provided you guys are okay with that.
And heres a bit of an explanation for any confusion: Yes that was Queen Eva, then Princess, mother of Snow White. Rose Red is older than Snow White from what I read, by like a year or two. If not she is in this one. The baby was Rose Red, if you hadn't guessed that and SURPRISE it's her real name and is why she "subconsciously" chose the name-will be explain in more depth in future chapter. The couple she was given away to was Dimia and Gene-mentioned in first chapter, hints given in his job. Rose Red gets her eyes from her mother, seriously that actress has amazing blue eyes and hair assumedly from the servant. If you have any other questions and such just leave it in a review or PM me, I'll be happy to answer.
