Mapleshade walked beside Bramblestar through the ThunderClan territory with the rest of the clan behind her. She was sure no clan leader in the history of cats had to go through what Bramblestar was experiencing. The malice from Clearstar's eyes was visible last time Mapleshade saw her arch nemesis.

"What will you say?" Mapleshade asked, her head hanging low.

"ThunderClan is strong." Bramblestar snarled stubbornly. "There's no need for worries.

Mapleshade shook her head. She was positive ThunderClan would never survive with so few warriors and kits. "The other clans might not notice this gathering, but what will happen when they realize we bring the same warriors to all the gatherings with almost no apprentices?"

Even though this was a hard time for ThunderClan Bramblestar still had the time to admire Mapleshade's sharp mind. What will happen to ThunderClan? Bramblestar asked himself. "If only your kits survived..."

The thought of Mapleshade's kits infuriated her and a low growl slipped out of her. Bramblestar looked at her with sympathy and rested his tail tip on her shoulder. Little did he know her kits were still alive.

"The prey is running well along with the upcoming new leaf. We have one new warrior, Larkdawn!" Mistystar concluded.

She nodded flicking her tail for Rowanstar to begin. "ShadowClan also has a new warrior called Marshfur."

"We all have new warriors don't we." Onestar chuckled. "Waterpelt is a new member to WindClan."

Bramblestar stood on his branch and had his head held high. "ThunderClan is doing exceptionally."

Mummers followed his speech in suspicious tones only to be silenced by Fallenclaw. Mapleshade had felt as if her whole body would burst with pride when all three of her kits became warriors. They were safe in their own clans now as loyal warriors.

"I too have some thing to say." Fallenclaw yowled. Rowanstar glared at him to keep his mouth shut but Fallenclaw ignored it. "Skyfang and Lakeheart are my brothers. And we belong in ThunderClan!"

Lakeheart ducked his head sheepishly and nodded slightly to agree with his brother. Skyfang was unsure of what to do.

"DONT YOU DARE JOIN THUNDERCLAN!" A WindClan she cat screeched. "Crowpaw and Sedgepaw aren't warriors yet!"

Another RiverClan she cat stood up too looking furious. "FERNPAW, ASHPAW, BLACKPAW AND CLAWPAW ARE RIVERCLAN APPRENTICES LAKEHEART!"

All the cats on the island started arguing and did not notice the clouds starting to block the bright moon. Rowanstar looked at Fallenclaw with such menace and hatred that even Firestar would flinch from. Fallenclaw was the deputy of ShadowClan, also a great warrior but now he was nothing.

"Take Marshfur with you to ThunderClan. We want no tainted blood in ShadowClan." Rowanstar snarled.

Mummers of agreement spread through the crowd and eventually, Mistystar and Onestar agreed to give away the ThunderClan blood cats. Bramblestar had just gained 6 apprentices and 4 warriors because of Mapleshade. She was the savior of ThunderClan! Questions about why her kits were in different clans would come later Bramblestar decided.

"Blackstar, please reconsider." Marshfur said, the pain in her eyes real. "I grew up in ShadowClan, my friends are there, and my mother, Dawnheart needs me!"

The ShadowClan considered Marshfur's request, and finally decided that she could stay. Fallenclaw snarled at his daughter, but Marshfur only sat taller, and returned the snarl with an ice cold glare. Dawnheart gazed solemnly at her former mate, one she had loved so much. "Good bye, Fallenclaw." Dawnheart whispered.

"Lakeheart, Skyfang, oh, and my Fallenclaw." Mapleshade purred, embracing her new family, once ThunderClan was away from the gathering island.

The apprentices, Sedgepaw, Crowpaw, Fernpaw, Ashpaw, Blackpaw, and Clawpaw started talking to each other.

"I guess this is why I never really liked the WindClan moor," Crowpaw laughed. His sister rolled her eyes, a grin splattered on her face. "I agree."

The former RiverClan apprentices were getting along well with the other WindClan apprentices all except Ashpaw. He was sulking in the back, not liking the dry grass under his paws. "I miss the water," he muttered under his breath. "And the herbs, too. Whose the medicine cat apprentice now?"

Clawpaw could sympathize with her brother, she really did miss the water, but knowing her true heritage was a better trade. "Ashpaw, if-if you want to back home, I'd go with you." She offered. The gray apprentice looked at his loyal sister wistfully.

"No, I know you, Clawpaw. You'd be happier in ThunderClan." Ashpaw decided. "Tell Lakeheart I love him, he was a great father." And with that, the lone apprentice stalked off into the woods, off to the distant lands.

When ThunderClan reached the camp, they had a nasty surprise awaiting them. ClearClan was standing in a straight line around the entrance of the camp. Bramblestar snarled menacingly. "Off. My. Territory!" The brown tabby lunged himself at Clearstar, and the battle began.
