AN: Hiya Guys! So new chapter, sorry it took really long this time I've been really busy at the weekend preparing for my mocks. Anyways I got Mocks all this week and beginning of next weeK, therefore a lot of revising. Galinda tries to get a little badass on again but not as aggressive as theinteraction with Pfanee lol xD oh and I would just like to say there shouldn't be many chapters after this. When I find that time to finish I don't know whether to leave the story there or carry on? I've got an ending but there is room where it could lead into the next stage but I'm not sure yet. Any whoooo without further or do enjoy the new chap guys!. Thank you for favouriting, following and reviewing! X

until next time, Throppland x

The third descending rushed back with all her books in tail; or so she thought. As she fumbled with the keys into room 22 her books dropped within her grasp, eliciting a frustrated groan from the raven tressed woman. Boq noticed Elphaba's struggle and came rushing over. She had already knelt down to put some of the remaining books in her satchel, if she had enough room she thought.

"Here, let me help you Elphaba."

"I'm quite capable thank you Boq."

"You know I use to-"

"Yes wait on Galinda like her little circus monkey and carry the books back to this very room for her yes...and?" He wasn't amused with the comparison he dare thought but he kept that to himself.

"Yes well she had a lot of books and it looks like you've got a copious bundle, more than she so I'm going to help." Elphaba was baffled, angered, and frustrated all in one take so she allowed him to get on with it.

"If you must Boq." He smiled as she rolled her eyes beneath her glasses.

As they picked up every last book the door swung gently open which caused them both to stop and look at the petite figure standing in the door frame.

Elphaba just blinked and sharply looked away to snatch the books from Boq and lunged herself through the door. As she'd side stepped Galinda she threw the books on her bed. This caused the blonde to tilt her head to the side as she watched.

The munchkin started. "Elphaba?"

"Yes, see you soon Boq"

"No, Elphaba I have something to as-" Elphaba had already shut the door on him.

"Good day!" As she said it she leaned against the door and shut her eyes.

"Elphaba...?" She swallowed at the sickly sweet tone in her voice. "What's the matter?" She refused to look Galinda in the eye.

"Elphie, sit, please." The request had obviously hung in the air as the third descending hadn't moved a muscle. With a pout and a huff the blonde interlocked there arms and guided her to the bed and gave her a pat on the cheek.

"STOP IT I SAY." She was startled out of her glazed over expression.

"Stop what?"

"That...that look. You either do it when you're angry, scheming or contemplating too hard that your brains going to combust!"

"Sorry it's just-" the descending couldn't finish her sentence. A protruding thought submerged itself as she looked towards her books with her back towards the blonde." Oz damn it!"

"What now?"

"I've left my other book at the library I must of forgotten it just before I left, whilst speaking to..." Then it hit her why she had not the instinct to pick the book up, "...Fiyero." The hesitation that unhitched Elphaba's voice did not go unnoticed by the blonde. From what she could surmise and due to how much she knew of her roommate's strong traits she knew it was out of character and that scared her.

Galinda walked over to the raven tressed girl in order to give some comfort.

"Elphie...please talk to me, has he done something?" The blonde raised her hand to cup a verdant cheek which made Elphaba flinch and shrink away.

"How did you even-"

"Elphie...do you think I'm that stupidly blonde?" Her roommate looked at her with no particular expression.

"Actually...don't answer that." She answered anyway.

"Of course I don't."

"Well then...I can tell when something's are obscure and your mood is one. Also you mentioned Fiyero, thus the reason why I have made this conclusion."

'I've got to tell her, I can't just leave this, what if she thinks different of you? What if she believes you were more familiar with him, or men in general?' The emerald girl battled with her inner thoughts. She had to get it out, keeping it to herself would only keep her mind racing for a longer duration.

"He kissed me..." Elphaba muttered swiftly. As she said it she averted her eyes from Galinda's. The blonde's breath caught in her throat. She didn't let the sudden pain grow to prevail itself a play on her facial features. A rosy tint began to surface on her cheeks and her pulse quickened.

"Did you kiss him back?"

"Oz no! You saw me when I came through that door Galinda, I was astonished angered and frightened all at once." For Elphaba to use the word frightened was a rarity that Galinda had not been accustomed to.

"You were frightened?"

"I was not frightened because I was afraid that there was hidden feelings beneath that kiss but to how it may change your opinion of how I felt about you and so forth! believe me." Galinda bent over and placed a small pale hand on a green knee to provide herself some balance. Her other hand was lost in her roommate's long inky tresses in order to close the space between them. Galinda gave her a passionate kiss, eliciting a guttural moan from Elphaba as she tugged the emerald girl's hair slightly. Elphaba assumed the blonde was trying to make a vivid statement yet it excited and intrigued her further.

"That's all I needed to know then Elphaba." Ending on that note the blonde jolted out the room and went to find Fiyero.

Crope, Tibbett and Boq were all standing in the corner of the canteen like dates waiting for a fellow maiden to accompany them. They weren't so lucky.

"So who would of thought Elphaba and Galinda of all people would be good friends then? I must say I was rather surprised when I found out."

"I can second that thought Crope." Then Tibbett looked at Boq. "What's wrong with you?"

"I think they're more than just friends. I mean did you see how Galinda protectively clung to Elphaba when Fiyero smiled at her and the look she gave him."

"Boq that doesn't mean anything, you're doing this to stop those thoughts of Galinda hindering your mind and to make you feel better about your circumstances, involving the blonde. Crope nodded in Boq's direction to show he agreed.

"am not."

"Then what proof do you have?"

"there was when I rushed into their bedroom!"

"Oh sweet Oz! what did you see, why didn't you say anything." The young man perked up at hearing what may have been certain, intimate activities to be revealed. Boq's eyes widened as he realised how wrong they had interpreted what he said.

"Oh no, no, no. I didn't meant it like that. It's just that they pulled away from each other quickly and well the way in which Galinda weakened at Elphaba's words. I could just sense it, but I didn't dare say anything."

"ha no, good thing too, otherwise your head would of been ripped of by now." Boq gave Crope a scowl.

"Why do you still try to accustom Galinda anymore if you believed it to be true?"

The munchkin shrugged. "I guess I didn't want to believe it, anyhow I could be wrong."

"this I don't actually doubt of you. Oh my but could you imagine if Galinda is that way inclined and Elphaba? Sweet Oz I wouldn't mind being a fly on their bedroom wall in that moment.

Boq staggered. "Crope show a bit of decorum!"

"Oh come on Boq I bet you have thought about the surmisation. I bet Elphaba's the dominant one, or would she be more happily to beckon and oblige to the lady?" Boq was standing there flabbergasted. Tibbett started-

"If Elphaba is that way inclined I bet she wouldn't need blindfolding, all Galinda needs to do is take her glasses off, she can't see without them."

"oh the fun of it!"

"Will you stop that!" Boq had finally had enough of their dirty antics. Tibbett noticed a fimilar blonde figure heading towards them, he nudged Crope in the ribs which the young man then vigorously rubbed.

"Shut up, look! Speak of the devil."

As the blonde strutted over Boq had perked up from the wavering Gillikin scent that had followed; He snapped his head round to face the frottican that was approaching.

"Hello miss-"

"Oh do hold that tongue Boq!" Tibbett snorted to prevent the sound of laughter as he looked at the munchkins expression: beaten like a wounded animal.

"What ever is the matter Galinda?" Crope asked a bit taken aback at her sudden outburst.

"Where is Fiyero, I wish to speak to him?"

"I haven't seen him, he was last in the library with Elphaba I believe, whether he is still pondering in that area is now history to me. If not try the sporting courts, my dear." Crope replied In a benevolent tone. "Do you wish me to escort you?" He didn't mean for it to sound patronising or of superior standard, he simply wanted to make sure she was going to be alright in the circumstances she maybe situated in. The sporting courts were primarily an example. The courts were to be swamped with Young men on campus for them to fulfil their physical attributes of what mostly the girls would be swooning over. Whose to say Galinda wouldn't be their target?

"I am of good health and old enough to look after myself but thank you Crope."

"As you wish." Galinda nodded in response and rushed off. As she was out of sight Crope sniggered again.

"Atleast she got your name right eh" Boq made a face.

"Do shut up!"

"Oh do hold that tongue Boq! Haha" Tibbett smirked at him whilst Boq only sighed and groaned.

The library was her first area for inspection. From the corner of her eye she saw a tanned hand reach out to turn the pages of a book, the blue diamond pattern gave away that it was Fiyero. Blue eyes became a tempest of azure, vexed was an understatement, if she were to clarify her sudden mood change. She spoke in a calm but assertive tone.

"Master Fiyero."

His head gyrated round as if it had its own trail of wheels attached to the neck.

"Why Galinda, how are you? I thought you went back to the dorms?"

"Oh I bet that's what you were hoping for all along..."

Fiyero tilted his head and questioned the blonde with a puzzled expression. He could hear the bitterness beginning to surface her tongue.

"pardon me Galinda?"

don't you sweet talk me, master-"

"You can drop the honourifics Galinda, and why are you so-"

"Don't you dare tell me what to do! if I bloody wish to use it I bloody well will, I mean no ill will Fiyero but what an earth do you think you are playing at!"

"What an earth are you talking about!?"

"you know damn well! You kissed Elphaba!"

"Where's the harm in that? are you that self conceited in your contemplation? plus she is beautiful, why wouldn't I, what's so wrong in finding her attractive amongst her verdigris, are you jealous of her?" Galinda had to stop herself for a brief moment In case she said it isn't what her she was jealous of.

" I know she's of utmost beauty, she's gorgeous! And no I'm not bloody jealous you arrogant individual! Why should I be? For Lurline did you even consider her feelings and whether she wished to return the favour, how dare you question her authority in that personal matter!" With that said the blonde stood on her tiptoes, only just meeting the height of Fiyero's upper torso as he stood, yet she did not wither from the new refined height.

As he came closer she shoved him and threw his book at his chest which earned them a few stares. Galinda surveyed the area and glared at the individuals. From her socialite status and superiority everyone went back to minding their own business not wishing to infuriate her more than she already looked. Followed by a huff she scrunched Fiyero's collar in her tiny fist and yanked him into a more tranquil spot of the vast surroundings.

"Of all that is Oz what is wrong with you, have you gone hysterical." He had a pained expression on his face. He didn't want terms such as this resulting in a heated quarrel. Despite this he should have seen it coming, someone was bound to have catched on between the awkward ora between him and Elphaba if it were to linger hidden for too long.

"Hysterical, ME HYSTERICAL, I DIDN'T KISS HER ON UNWANTED TERMS FIYERO."

"So I admit ma'am!" Fiyero raised his hands above his shoulders in surrender. The Arjiki prince used the respectful term believing he did not have the authority by Galinda to even call her by her name. "I shouldn't have been so forward or insistent. I should have realised that I have made Elphaba unsettled and upset as I have, I will speak to her. I called after her earlier but she ran."

"So she told me! but you know what Fiyero. I thought you were of better taste than trying to allure and then kiss a woman when not beckoned or approved of. You see my Elphie is not use to or fond of such contact, she needs a calmer and more gentle approach when in situations as that and-"

"And you would know because you were her first..." Galinda's eyes bolted towards Fiyero's, blue tempests now back to a liquified icy blue.

"First what."

"Her first... kiss." The Vinkan's voice lowered to a whisper at the ending word. "I knew there was a deeper meaning behind our squabble."

"No Fiyero, you have misinterpreted my concerns." Galinda's heart quickened at his conclusion. She was stopped dead in her tracks.

"No Galinda this all makes sense now. You were never jealous of her, how stupid of me. You were jealous because I kissed her. or should I say angered?"

"Infuriated! wait! no...now your just putting words into my mouth."

"It's not a matter of words, it's a matter of actions and the ones you have exploited upon me have bared all. Even Boq thought there was something going on towards you two. He was right. I should have seen it sooner but I guess at least now I know not to touch 'Your Elphie' again." Galinda hung her head then looked up at the vinkan. There was no denying it now.

"...well now you know." Fiyero smirked at the blonde who blushed in return. "stop it Fiyero!"

"Sorry but how extraordinary, out of all pairings, this is by far the most peculiar I've seen. Yet you suit."

"How did you catch on so quickly?"

"Well for a starters you said 'YOU' never kissed her on 'unwanted terms'." He emphasised the quotation marks with his fingers."

"That was just a general assumption."

"Ah well I interpreted it different Galinda and your attitude and body language towards me said it all." the vinkan shrugged. " Anyways I'm sorry for my impulsive behaviour and I will apologise to Elphaba, I didn't mean to be such a disturbance." The frottican was finding it hard on a grand level to maintain her anger towards Fiyero. It had finally dispersed.

"I am of equal apology...sorry for going off on one...and well...for throwing the book at you." Fiyero simply chuckled.

"It's quite alright Galinda I'm sure I will survive a blow to the gut with a book."

"You make it sound worse than it actually is."

"Oh it's torture." Galinda found herself rolling her eyes at his sarcastic retort. "Anyhow I want to make it up to you."

"Ah well...you know all the pictures you have taken over the past few days."

"Yes?"

"Well I was thinking we could gradually build them up, the pictures of us."

"Us?"

"Yes the charmed circle. All of us together like a family."

"I see." Fiyero didn't know where she was going with this so she continued.

"I want to make a photo album for Elphaba."

"Whatever for."

"For a present and to show how much she actually means to us, she has never had that sort of clarity in her life and she deserves that much of comfort."

"As you wish, I would be delighted to help. So what's the album going to be."

"It's going to be a family album Fiyero...our own family album, as the charmed circle." Fiyero smiled at the thought.

"I would be delighted to."
