Morph Squad
Chapter 4
The Legend Saga
Part 1
Elijah the Monster?
Attack at Undella Bay!
Aces' P.O.V.
As we flew high into the sky, I felt the sensation of flight and it is amazing! The inside of the jet was metal, gray, and high tech. Like something out of a spy movie. It was loaded with dials, and buttons that beeped and turned. It was all Greek to me!
In the short day and three hours I've been conscience I've learned a lot about myself and the people around me that I like to call friends. Mike is cool and collected, White is so mysterious. But out of everything, the dream I had last night was the one thing that bugged me. Why was I in a meadow? Why was I jealous of the carelessness that clouds could have? But worst of all; that heart breaking scream.
I was so focused on these questions that I barely herd Rose talking to me.
"Ace, are you okay? You seem tense." Snapping out of my trance I replied,
"Yeah I'm fine, but there's something I still need to ask you guys."
"Sure what is it?"
"I don't know how to fight, what if we run into trouble?" She thought for a moment.
"That's a good question, and I have a good answer for you. Simply use your instincts."
"My instincts?" I tilted my head in confusion.
"Yeah! That's how we all learned. So when push comes to shove your instincts will kick in and then it will become second nature."
"Okay whatever you say." As we flew along for another few minutes Mike, who was piloting the jet said,
"Hey guys were getting closer to our destination here pretty soon so get ready!"
TEN minutes later…
"We're here!" Mia said excitedly.
"Everyone split into two groups." I said. Mia, Mike, Magen, White and I, went to the boat in the back of the jet. And the rest of the team fastened their seat belts. The boat was near the water as we flew low. Soon the boat dropped and I asked Mike if I could talk to everyone via telepathic message. Something took over my thoughts and I went into overdrive.
"Ok here's the plan, halve of us are going to Driftveil City to interrogate that ex-member of team Plasma and try to find their secret base or at least a lead. The rest of us will try to find clues or a lead as to what direction Elijah was headed after the Pokémon battle. Got it." Everyone stared at me and I returned to normal.
"Wow, that's actually a plan, and a decant one at that, maybe you are a leader." Lilly said.
"Finally some action! Can I punch the Plasma guy in the face?" Tyler said asked
"Maybe, Ty, maybe." Mia said patting him on the shoulder. Soon the team was separated and on different routes.
Normal P.O.V.
Meanwhile with the group at Driftveil City:
"Uhg! This is taking too long; I want to find this guy fast!" Ty said.
"You know we have to search the city carefully, and these cloaks are so people don't freak out about us pokemorphs." Laura said.
"AH! This is just too slow," Ty moaned, "Just hit me with thunder Laura. My Motor Drive ability let's me run super fast if I'm hit with an Electric attack. That way I'll find the Plasma guy faster and no one will see because' I'm too quick." He was acting a little too confident.
"Well…I'm not sure…" Laura paced in the Jet that was completely camouflaged. Rose, Tory and Lilly put on their cloaks, while the other two were having their conversation.
"Are you sure we'll find him here?" Rose asked.
"Sure I'm sure," Lilly said. "If there's one thing I know its how to shop and nothing is better than soothing incenses!"
Five minutes later:
"There it is the Driftveil City market place." Tory said. The building was a large open wood structure with many exits and openings. As the three walked into the market they saw many people, and some interesting shops, one caught troy's eye. It was a Moo Moo Milk shop, he walked over and purchased a dozen and carried them in a small plastic basket.
"What? Moo Moo Milk could come in handy!" Tory said. Then they saw the man they were looking for. There he was in his Team Plasma uniform, selling incents.
"Ah, how may I help you ladies?" the blond haired man asked.
"Hey I'm a boy!" Tory yelled.
"Oh! My mistake I'm so sorry… may I interest you in some exotic incents?" Lilly then held the man by his clothed armor.
"Look, I can see plain as day that this is a Team Plasma uniform. So I'll give you ten seconds to explain why your kind would want to kidnap a Pokémon trainer named Elijah." He gulped.
"Well I left Team Plasma a few years ago and I've never heard of a trainer by that name, but I do know where a secret base is."
"Tell us!" Lilly started to shake him violently. Rose and Tory were shocked by Lilly's approach to the EX-criminal; she usually uses good cop and seductive talk to make them spill the beans.
"Okay, okay, just stop shaking me!" Lilly released him and he whispered something into her 'ear'. She gasped and punched the man in the stomach.
"Let's go." She walked past the two stunned morphs who, without question followed.
"What did that guy say? Where are we going?" Rose asked as they exited the large market.
"The guy was a pervert. And to answer the second question, the guy said Relic Castle would be the best place to look. " She pointed to the sky in a dramatic pose. "So I say we call H.Q. for back up!" Suddenly a bolt of lightning went past them. Rose used physic to slow the bolt down, and wouldn't you know… it was Tyler who was too impatient to wait for their return.
"Tyler what are you doing?" Tory asked.
"What does it look like I'm doing?!" He said angrily. In a smaller Chibi form.
"Trying to punch the plasma guy in the face and beat us to him." Tyler was silent for the reasoning in his head was invalid. They all headed back to the jet that was above the entrance to the Driftveil Gym. The jet was undetected because the engine was so quiet and it was totally invisible.
As they boarded and Tyler was levitated in, Laura piloted the plane as soon as she heard the news.
FIFTEEN minutes earlier
Meanwhile with the Undella Town group:
Ace's P.O.V.
We walked along the sandy beaches of Undella town wherein brown cloaks. As we try to find evidence of Elijah. We pasted several houses and a Pokémon center but no luck. Then I remembered that Kathrin said that he battled someone before he left.
"Hey guys?" Mia and Mike stopped what they were doing and came to talk.
"Yeah what's the problem?" Mia asked while walking over.
"Didn't Kathrin say that this Elijah guy battled someone on the beach?"
"Yeah she did." Mike answered.
"If we ask Kathrin what Elijah looks like, we'll just ask around until we find someone who battled him." I suggested
"Not a bad idea" Mia said. The group regrouped and waited for Kathrin to respond to the call Magen sent out to H.Q. Suddenly Kathrin's voice and face appeared on the screen.
"What's the problem guys'?" Kathrin asked.
"We need a description of Elijah's' appearance." Magen said.
"Oh, yeah…" Kathrin then typed on a keyboard in the background. "Here ya' go."
An image of a boy around fifteen appeared. He had red, longish hair, a black, light weight jacket, and a white shirt underneath. His pants were charcoal black and his eyes were dark brown, his skin is a light peach color, his shoes are white and he had sunset colored shades on his forehead. The picture was taken while he was walking and he had his hands in his pocket. Alongside him was an Absol.
"Okay now that we know what he looks like we can split up and ask around until we find the guy who battled him."
"Cool! I'll go with White to the Pokémon Center and you three can ask over there." said Magen.
"Sounds like a plan!" Mia exclaimed excitedly. The gang split in two groups (again.)
Magen & White…
Magen was asking a person in the center and white was just there to ensure he answered truthfully. White was the silent and strong type. White also didn't where a cloak because he was already dressed in one.
"I'll ask once more have you seen this trainer." She held up the Holographic image of the trainer Elijah.
"I don't know what you're talking about!" He said shaking.
"You lie!" She used dark Void on everyone in the entire Pokémon center and they all fell asleep. White simply sidestepped out of the way. "I'll just use Dream Eater to get the info." She used the attack and all the residents of the center were squirming like worms. "Got it!" She exclaimed. "Come on White! Let's go tell the others!" She then turned into a shadow and zoomed off.
White walked a little but stopped as he felt the dark presence of someone he once knew. But that was not possible; still he wondered and thought it wasn't the strangest thing to happen to him. He then followed Magen and soon found the others.
Fifteen minutes earlier…
Ace's P.O.V.
We walked for a while on the beach and I have to admit it was very pretty. The sun's light reflected off the water so beautifully it somehow felt familiar. I saw many people wonder what was under our cloaks. Some felt scared, others were just curious.
"Ace, keep an eye out for a man in a suite. That is the guy who battled Elijah." Mike said.
"Okay." I confirmed. We continued to walk. Asking people weather they saw someone like Elijah or if the know the rich kid he battled. It seemed like no one was actually from here, they were just tourists. I kept walking, and then I saw a really big mansion. It was just a large house made nearly entirely of glass. I was curious so I walked over toward the home. I saw a middle aged man, with dark-blond hair sitting on a white chair, near a white table and a blue and red umbrella. I was about to try and read his emotions with my aura vision (which I haven't tried yet) when a man in a butlers uniform confronted me.
"May I help you sir?" I was startled at first but then I regained my composure.
"Um…Have you seen this trainer?" I held up a holographic version of the trainer, and the butler suddenly jumped back.
"T-t-t-That's the monster from two months ago!" He said with a horrified look. My ears perked under the hood, which I quickly fixed.
"So you've seen him?" I asked hopefully my tail wagging inside my cloak.
"If you're looking for him then talk to the master. He's the one who fought him." He gestured to the dark, blond haired man that I was going to investigate earlier. "Master Draco this young man wishes to speak with you." The man gave a harsh glare at me. I was slightly intimidated, but it only showed a little. Then he made eye contact with me and his eyes widened slightly.
"Very well, sit with me here boy."He gestured toward to the adjacent seat across from him. I sat and he said the butler should leave us be. "So, this trainer you're looking for, does he happen to have any Pokémon?"
"Well, um…" I had just assumed so considering he's an experienced trainer. But he is acting as though he didn't know himself, or perhaps to test me? I wasn't sure but I was bound determined to find out. "Yes, at least he should. Why?"
"Because, he managed to defeat my Floatzel, without using one Pokémon." A Pokémon trainer who didn't battle with Pokémon? It was too farfetched even though I could tell he was telling the truth. "Not only that but he stole something from me as well."
"How did he fight then?" I asked my curiosity peaked.
"Well…"
Two Months Earlier…
I was sitting in this chair thinking about my son heading to the Pokémon League. Floatzel was sleeping at my side and I was reading a novel. Then about twenty minutes later the sun began to rise in the distance, I wake very early in the morning. Then I saw a teenage boy wearing a red t-shirt and blue jeans walking toward me. He also had scars almost everywhere on his body.
"Can I help you?" I asked as my eyes inspected the boy further I noticed that he was crying.
"P-please sir, I need to be sure of something." He slowly walked toward Floatzel.
"FLOATZEL!" Floatzel had hit him in the head with iron tail. The boy was in the sand bleeding, I was in shock and I was about to scold Floatzel for the sudden attack and get help for the boy, but that's when it got weird.
He stood back up and smiled at me, and then he said,
"So, Pokémon don't even like us anymore." He started to cry and ever so slowly his wounds, even the scars were fading in an odd white light surrounding him.
"Let's kill them!" a voice from nowhere said.
"NO! I'm not a demon, I'm not your'e puppet!" He said holding his head. "Sir you need to run!" He yelled in pain.
"I don't run from challenges!" I said boldly.
"This is NOT a challenge, because that would mean both parties had an equal chance of winning!" The voice spoke again.
"Stop PLEASE!" He held his head and screamed in agony as his body changed into something monstrous. His skin turned a dark gray and it became smooth and was covered in scales. He also had wings made of ice, his eyes that had no white sclera but black. His hair grew longer and turned an icy blue. It smoothed back and only a small clump of hair was still in his face but it was lightning yellow. As were his eyes, they turned into ones of a beast, eyes without mercy, and the eyes of a Dragon…the eyes of Kyurem!
"What the hell." I had no idea what I was in for…
"Time to play!" He lifted his hand toward Floatzel and fired a Thunderbolt attack at him. Floatzel was crying out in pain, so I tried to tackle him to make him stop. He simply lifted his other hand and set me on fire with a Flamethrower attack. I stopped and rolled in the sand and asked Floatzel if he could use water gun. He was already knocked out and so I jumped in the water. As I resurfaced I walked on the beach and collapsed.
He left me and Floatzel a mess, he attacked Jake, my butler, and the last thing I remember was him triumphantly holding one of my priceless artifacts in his hand. Then I blacked out.
Present Day… Ace's P.O.V.
"And that's what happened." I was astonished at his story. Sure it seemed impossible, but it was true, I could sense it.
"I'm so sorry." I began.
"Don't be, if you're looking to put him away, that is." I thought about this, it was our assignment to bring him back alive. So in a way...
"Yes, we are to put him in chains." I said. "But from the sound of things we'll need a lot more than a pair of handcuffs."
END PART ONE…
Yes I know it's short but I promise it will be even more epic once I'm done with the second part so bare with me! I know it's chaotic! PLEASE REVIEW! You get cookies and lollypops if you do! (Of course there imaginary but you get the point!)
