Oh man. It has been awhile since I've updated. I actually had to re-read my most recent chapter to remember where I was going with this story. Let's just say I cringed a lot XD. Anyway, Yes. I am a horrible horrible person for taking so long to update. Like this chapter may not even be worth reading, but at least it's something. Regardless, enjoy this chapter my lovely creatures!

Aida

I sat there very confused while I waited for Zander to respond to the girl. I would be lying if I said that she didn't make me uneasy. How does she know Zander but he doesn't- or seems to not know who she is. I looked at Zander. He looked as confused as I was.

"Do I know you?" Zander asked the girl. I looked back over at the girl and watched as her face fell.

"You...You don't remember me?" She responded.

Zander shook his head. "No I'm afraid not."

I scooted closer to Zander and sat down, crossing my legs. "What's your name?" I asked.

The girl looked at me like she was seeing me for the first time. I saw her eyes travel my body. Taking in every single detail. When she met my eyes again she smirked. This bitch...

She sat up. "My name is Adelina Wrenstein. I'm the daughter of Sir Dorian Wrenstein of Scotland. He's the third cousin of the King, making me royalty." She looked down at me. "And... You are?" She cocked her eyebrow haughtily.

"I'm about to rip your damn head off-!" I stood up to teach this wench a lesson. Unfortunately Zander grabbed my arm and held me back.

"This is Aida. My girlfriend. My very loving girlfriend." He pulled me into his lap and wrapped his arms around my neck. The bitch huffed and pouted.

"How could you possibly be dating her?" Adelina asked. Man, I am just hating her more and more.

"What are you even talking about? Who are you to barge into our home and question our relationship. I don't know you, Aida doesn't know you so why are you here." Ah I love you Zander.

"I don't understand how you don't remember me Zandy." The nickname she gave him made my eye twitch.

"Zandy...There's only one person who's ever...Wait. Lina? Is that you?" My eyes tried to find Zander's but his were glued to this Adelina.

Adelina smiled a satisfied smile. "There you go Zandy. I can't believe it took you this long. You'd think the whole royalty thing would strike your memory but of course it had to be the stupid pet name. So typical of you."

Zanders eyebrows knitted together. "Well you certainly turned into quite the bitch haven't you Lina." God I am loving Zander more and more.

The girl crossed her legs and rested her elbow on her knee. "Oh Zandy you know you've missed me."

Zander scoffed. "As if."

"Okay what's going on? Zander how do you know her?" I asked. Zander sighed and closed his eyes, his head falling back.

"Adelina and I were... Engaged for awhile. Back when we were both young. Our father's arranged the marriage when we were 16." Zander glanced at Adelina. "The engagement was broken off because I didn't think it was right to have an arranged marriage."

"And stupidly so! You know you and I would've made the PERFECT couple!" Adelina exclaimed. As if whore. I can already tell you would've been a control freak.

"And that's exactly why I called it off Lina! I don't a relationship where there's no love. I don't love you and I never did. Besides, I have Aida now; someone I actually love."

My heart swelled at Zander's words. I don't think I could've found a better match.

Adelina laughed."Her? The girl who has nothing but pretty silver hair? Oh Zandy. I can give you so much more. So much power." She stood. " You just wait Zandy. I'll win you over. Then we can finally get married!"

Adelina walked over to the door, swinging it open.

"Oh yes. Just. You. Wait." With that she blew him a kiss and and left- hopefully for good.

Zander signed and relaxed against my back. "Okay. Zan, what the hell was all that about?"

"I don't even know." He murmured into my neck. "All I know is that I never want to see her again."

I laughed." I can second that."

Zander and I sat there for awhile just listening to each others breathing.

After awhile I turned and faced Zander, cupping his face in my hands. He leaned into them and visibly relaxed even more.

"Hey Zander?" I asked, my uneasiness getting the better of me.

Zander opened his eyes. "Yes my love?"

"You still love me right?"

He laughed and wrapped his arms around my waist. "Did that whole incident with Adelina set you off?" I nodded. He smiled and pulled me to his chest. "Aida, there is just about nothing that would ever make me want to stop loving you. You are the one for me. I am a hundred percent sure of that."

I felt the tension in me subside. I pulled away and looked into Zander's beautiful blue eyes. "Zander I love you. More than you can ever imagine."

"And I love you Aida."

I smiled and leaned in for a kiss. Zander of course met me halfway.
