Chapter 4: Getting ready for Friday
Lauren's pov:
We had entered the twins house with a very unimpressed Kai, "Great, I can't believe am a host now" he said matching in and headed towards the stairs to his room but hoping only I could hear him say it, I shook my head and said "Don't worry about it, you'll be fine" "Well I HOPE THAT I GET A DANCE WITH YOU ON FRIDAY!" Kai shouted so that the twins could hear him this time, I nodded my head and he carried on up the stairs to him room and I decided to go into the living room.
As I walked into the living room, with the twins following behind me, as I turned around to talk to them, when I turned around Hikaru was on the right and Kaoru was on the left I looked over at Hikaru and saw that his face was a bit red, I walked up to him and placed my hand on his forehead and asked "Hikaru, are you all right?" he just stepped back and turned his head away from me and then walked towards the dining room area, looked towards Kaoru and he was laughing at Hikaru's reaction and that made me more confused "Did I say something wrong" I asked looking to where Hikaru had gone, Kaoru just shook his head and said "No, he's just being wired is all, nothing to worry about" laughing as well, he walked towards the sofa's and sat down, I just looked towards Kaoru and then to where Hikaru is "Should I check on him" I asked looking back to Kaoru, Kaoru yet again shook his head at me and tapped the sofa as to say 'Come sit down here' so I did, we started talking about random things and watched a bit of TV before putting a movie on, I fell asleep while watching the movie but I could feel that someone had picked me up and was carrying me, I opened one of my eye's slightly and saw that it was Kaoru, but then he stop and passed me to someone I looked again but this time saw Hikaru, he had taken me to my room and placed me on the bed, as he left the and shut the door and chuckled to myself at the turn of events that night.
It was a Thursday afternoon in the host club, but the club was closed for the day due to some people practising for the Friday dance that was coming up, I was just watching from the side lines and silently laughed at everyone dancing the waltz, then Kai was walking towards me "Hey Lauren, can I ask you something please" he said as he sat down next to me, I looked towards him and said "Sure Kai, what is it?" "Can you help me with the waltz please because everyone else is busy with practise themselves" Kai asked while turning his head away and then scratching his check, "Sure, why not?" I said standing up and taking his hand.
Hikaru pov:
I walked into the club room and saw Lauren dancing with Kai, I just stood there watching them but mainly at Lauren, she looked like she was enjoying herself, I looked at the bag that I brought with me and then back to Lauren and thought 'I hope she doesn't mind this dress, bet she'll look beautiful in it' I shook my head at realising what I was thinking but as I stopped shaking my head I saw that Lauren and Kai had finished dancing and now seeing Lauren walking over to me.
Lauren's pov:
I walked over to Hikaru after spotting him when I finished dancing with Kai, as I got closer to him, he looked red in the face so I asked "You all right, Hikaru?" he nodded his head and passed a bag to me, so I took the bag and looked inside of it as Hikaru said "It's one of my mother's latest designs" I looked up at him and said "Thank you" then took it to the changing room and placed it into a locker ready for tomorrow night's dance.
It was night time and I was walking the corridors to my room, when suddenly I saw Hikaru exiting it I stood a couple of feet away from him and waited for him to turn around and then said " Hikaru, what are you doing in my room?" "Oh Lauren, I was looking for you" Hikaru said as he saw me a few feet away from him "Ok, what's wrong?" I asked while walking towards him "Oh nothing I was just wondering if... you... would... like to... go out for the day... with... me" he asked while looking away and then back to me, I just smiled at him and stood in front of my bedroom door then said "Sure, why not? I mean it gives us the chance to get to know each other more" Hikaru looked shocked at my answer and then said "Great how about this Saturday" "Saturday's fine with me, well I better get to bed long day tomorrow" I said while opening my door, "Great and all right, see you tomorrow, night" he said before turning around and walked down the corridor smiling, "Night Hikaru" I said turning into my room but before I entered my room Kaoru walked by and he waved to me, I just said "Night Kaoru" I shut my door and walked towards my bed and fell asleep.
