The LaMontagne's were now seated in a room at the Amusement park's theater. It had been nearly forty five minutes since their previous prank and they decided it was time for a little break. Along with about four hundred other people, the LaMontagne's watched a very comical play that was being provided by various staff members.
After the play was over, everyone cheered and applauded the cast. It was now time for the LaMontagne's to plan their next prank. Sitting at a picnic table, just outside the theater, the three of them were eating snow cones and discussing what they should do next.
"Either of you two brilliant geniuses have an idea of what we should do next?" JJ smiled at her husband and son.
"Nope, I'm still thinking." Will said.
"I know what we should do!" Henry exclaimed, grinning.
Will and JJ listened to their son as he told them about his brilliant idea for their next prank. When Henry had finished talking, Will and JJ smiled at him and both said, "Sounds like a very good idea."
"Thank you and I thought of it all by myself." Henry was quite proud.
"You sure did, buddy." Will lightly ruffled his son's hair.
There was a long line for a roller coaster ride called, "Lightning Bolt." The LaMontagne's were among that line, but they wasn't at the back of the line. They were more like in the middle of the line.
"JJ, do you remember when you and I first rode this roller coaster?" Will asked with a grin.
Grinning back, JJ replied with, "I sure do and that was really scary."
Playing along with his parents, Henry curiously asked, "Why? What happened?"
JJ then began to talk very loudly. "WELL, THE LAST TIME YOUR DADDY AND I WAS HERE, WE DECIDED TO TRY THIS RIDE AND…"
"WHEN THE RIDE WENT UPSIDE DOWN, WE GOT STUCK ON IT!" Will loudly chimed in.
"HOW DID THAT HAPPENED?!" Henry was doing his best to not smile or laugh.
"WE'RE NOT REALLY SURE, BUT THE RIDE ATTENTANT TOLD US THAT IT HAPPENS QUITE A LOT WITH THIS RIDE!" JJ said.
As soon as JJ had said that, the line quickly became very short. People were not only looking scared, but some were also looking angry. The three LaMontagne's kept their faces straight, not smiling or laughing in the least bit.
"Thanks for scaring us all!" A man rudely said to the three of them.
"Sorry, but we're just making memories for our son, here." Will lifted Henry into his arms.
The man just scoffed and stormed away. Being the only ones in line now, the LaMontagne's broke out into a fit of laughter and made their way onto the roller coaster.
"Henry, you are a genius for coming up with that prank!" JJ kissed the side of her son's face.
