I don't own Glee and all mistakes are my own.

Marley's POV

I walked into school and made a bee-line for Jake. I'd spent the weekend in New York with Rachel and my two dads but on the Saturday evening, Puck had called like Jake said he was going to. Whatever their conversation, it must have been good because she was completely giddy all day on Sunday.

"He called her." I announced proudly when I was behind him. He was rooting around in his locker.

He turned and the smile on his face almost mimicked mine. "Yeah I know. Do you know if it went well?" he asked.

I shook my head. "I don't know 100% but she was practically walking on air all day Sunday so it must have gone at least a little well." I said happily. "Haven't you spoken to Puck about it?"

"No. I didn't really see him a lot yesterday. He's trying to find somewhere else to live because he thinks he might be here long-term." Jake explained. "I'll try and talk to him today before Glee." He reasoned.

I nodded. "Right, ok, I better get to class. See you later."

When we walked into Glee later that afternoon, it was almost like we had a different teacher. Puck was lighter, happier and as a result he taught better as well. He wouldn't tell any of us why there was such a difference to him but Jake and I knew.

By the end of the class, Puck still had a massive grin on his face and his mood was so infectious that it gave everyone else in the class enough reasons to be in a good mood too. As I was leaving Matthew was waiting for me.

"Did you want to walk to the Lima Bean together?" he asked. "For our date?" he explained.

"Yes, I would love to." I said happily.

Rachel's POV

It was a week after I'd first heard from Noah and I was so excited because he was coming to New York to visit me. Neither of us had set anything in stone about what was going to happen. We were just going to see where things went.

"What time is Puck arriving?" Kurt asked.

I looked at the clock hanging on the wall in our apartment. "He should be here in less than an hour." I told him happily.

"I'm going to leave the apartment for a little while before he gets here. I just want to give you both some privacy. Is he here all weekend?" he asked.

I nodded. "He is." I said gleefully.

"Well I hope it goes well for you." He told me. "Puck is a good guy and you don't have to be a genius to see that he's head over heels for you. It was like that in school and seems that he's still head over heels for you now."

"Thank you Kurt." I said gratefully.

An hour later and Kurt was gone and I was making sure everything in the apartment was perfect for Noah's arrival. A knock on the door knocked me out of my arranging and re-arranging.

"He's here…he's here." I muttered to myself as I checked over the room again for what was probably the millionth time before going over to the door and opening it.

Marley's POV

As I opened the door on the Saturday after my date with Matthew, I saw the man himself smiling at me.

"Hey gorgeous." He said with his signature smile on his face. As he came into the house he kissed me softly on the lips as he passed.

"Hi." I said shyly.

This was our second date in a week and he'd come over so we could watch a movie together. He hadn't officially asked me out yet and that was ok with me; we were still enjoying getting to know one another.

"Have you decided on the movie you want to watch?" Matthew asked.

"Um…I've picked a few out and I was thinking that we could decide on one together." I suggested.

"Sounds good to me." He said happily. He went to the couch to the movies I'd picked out and just as I was following him, my phone began to ring.

I looked to Matthew apologetically. "Sorry." I took the phone from the pocket and saw that it was Rachel. "I have to get this." It told him. "It's my sister." I said in explanation.

"Sure. Tell her I said hey." He said. I nodded and answered the phone.

"Hey, sis. I don't normally hear from you on a Saturday." I said to her in greeting.

"Noah is here." She said instantly.

"Really?" I said excitedly. "You didn't tell me he was coming."

"I know. I didn't want to jinx anything. He got here yesterday and he'll be staying until tomorrow." She explained.

"Where is he now?" I wondered.

"He's gone to pick us up some lunch." Rachel said.

"And what's going on between the two of you?" I asked.

"Let's just say that I am happy again." She said. I could almost see the heart shapes in her eyes.

"I'm happy for you Rach." I said honestly.

"Thanks Marls." She said. She then sighed dreamily. "What about you? Noah told me that you have a flirtation thing going on with one of the guys in Glee."

I frowned. "I can't believe my teacher is telling you my personal business." I cringed. "But, if you must know, yes I am seeing someone in the class. Do you remember me telling you about Matthew?" I asked. At the mention of his name, Matthew turned to look at me with a smile on his face.

"Oooh, how exciting. Is everything going well?" she asked with enthusiasm.

I nodded before speaking. "Very." I said vaguely. "He's here now actually. We're going to watch a movie together." I told her.

"He's there now?" she questioned.

"Yeah. He told me to say hey." I said as a passing thought.

"You shouldn't have answered the phone if he's there. Marley, get off the phone right now and continue on with your date. Just call me later when he's gone." She ordered.

I giggled. "Fine. I'll call you later." I told her.

"Love you Marls. Have a good time."

I repeated the sentiment and we put the phone down.
