A/N: Look, in the sky. Is it a bird? A plane? Superman? No it's the incredibly rare (for me) double update!
Both this chapter and the remastered version of the prologue have been updated so if you were already following this story I highly recommend going back and re-reading the prologue, but to be honest the changes are mostly minimal and if you've read it recently then you not going to miss out on much.
But the A/N at the end of the prologue will explain what's changed with this story and it's direction.

Chapter 1:
The Start of a New Life

The World Nexus, The Next Day
Naruto yawned as he came out of his and Shikamaru's room, there isn't much furniture yet. He only has a futon and a bag and plans for more, He grumbled to himself for a bit and thought about what had happened so far to himself as he showered in the male side of the bathroom. Naruto walked out of the bathroom and headed to the fire-pit to see Shikamaru and Hinata sitting next to it while warming themselves from the morning chill.
After a breakfast of dried fruit and beef jerky Shikamaru commented to the others "We should also find a way of gathering or farming food, otherwise we'll soon run out of supplies"
Shikamaru hummed as he thought "Well, when I was clearing some of the grass yesterday, sometime these seed clumps would appear. They look like wheat seeds, maybe we could farm them"
Naruto nodded to Shikamaru's idea and replied "Good idea, maybe we can find some rice sprouts as well. Then we can make some rice paddies as well"
Naruto shook his head and said "Okay, so Shika, you can set up the farms. Preferably downwind so if we use fertilizer it won't stink up the building. Hinata and I will go search for some sheep, maybe some flax and cotton" Naruto stopped as he saw the shocked looks on Hinata and Shikamaru's faces "What's wrong?" Naruto asked.
Shikamaru shook himself in order to break his surprised stupor "Sorry Naruto, we're just used to you being the class clown, now you not only have proper grammar, but also thinking of some things we wouldn't think of. It's kind of surprising. Anyway since we're going to farm, why don't you find some livestock as well? Horses would also be useful"
Naruto nodded, he then turned to Hinata and said "Come on, Hinata-chan, let's go"
Hinata softly blushed at the suffix Naruto attached to her name but nodded in agreement to Naruto's comment and followed him out the door.

As Naruto and Hinata headed south-east towards the plains they saw earlier. Shikamaru, used Kōdona Kurafuto on the crafting table Naruto had placed in the workshop, using the wooden planks in his inventory to create some wooden sticks, which he then turns into a wooden hoe and a wooden shovel which he put into his inventory which already had a cobblestone axe and two dozen seeds of various plants. Shikamaru then headed around a five minute walk downstream and began to clear out a small farmland in the forest by the riverside.

Naruto and Hinata on the other hand, walked slowly through the forest towards the grasslands. They had already found some chickens nesting under a tree, which they promptly stunned and placed in a storage seal Naruto was carrying just for that purpose. Naruto frowned at something, pointed to it and shouted "What in Log's name is that?"
Hinata turned to face it and promptly blushed so hard that it easily covered her whole body and then fainted as what looks like an enormous walking green penis started heading towards them, probably attracted by Naruto's earlier shouting. Naruto shook his head in amusement at Hinata's shyness, though he has to admit in the dirty part of his mind he can see why she fainted. It wasn't an exactly phallic shape, but it was close enough to be easily mistaken.
As the thing got closer it started to hiss and glow white. Naruto raised his arm to shield his face from the oncoming explosion when… he got body-slammed by the creature right in the nuts. Naruto groaned lowly, fell to his knees and muttered in a higher pitched voice then usual "Motherfucking bastard, you did that on purpose you asshole" The thing went to charge him again and Naruto promptly punched it right in the face "Not this time, asshole" the creature promptly broke into a clump of some strange gray powder with the rest of the being dissolving into smoke. Naruto slowly recovered from his… incapacitation.
Naruto collected the gray powder left from the creatures demise and makes a mental note to use Shigen Kaiseki on it later when he has time. Naruto then headed over to Hinata and knelt down beside her.
Naruto gently shook Hinata awake, once awake she jumped up and looked around in worry, before she could say anything Naruto beat her to the punch and said "Don't worry, I killed that little creeping bastard. It broke into some strange powder which I collected"
Hinata nodded to this. Naruto then slapped his forehead as a thought came to him while he watched Hinata and said "Why didn't I think of this before. Hinata why don't you use your Byakugan to search for animals?"
Hinata's eyes widened and she giggled behind a hand "Acting so smart, but you're still the same Naruto" Her amusement giving her the courage to speak without a stutter, Hinata made a Mi hand seal with the right index finger pointing up and said "Byakugan" around her eyes veins grew into prominence as she channeled Chakra to her Dojutsu.
Hinata then focused and searched hard for animals nearby her, after about a minute Hinata released her Byakugan and reported "Naruto-kun, to the east is a small herd of sheep, about eight. To the south is thirteen cows and a dozen or so chickens. To the west is a small herd of horses, about twelve"
Naruto nodded and then made a Mi hand seal "Yasei no Seirei" (Wild Holy Spirit) He then pulled out a book and nodded to himself as he read the information written on it.
Hinata frowned and asked "What Jutsu was that Naruto-kun?"
Naruto grinned wildly "That was 'Yasei no Seirei' think of it as the animal version of 'Shigen Kaiseki'"
Hinata nodded at Naruto's explanation and then she looks confused and asked "Um, Naruto-kun. How are we going to transport the animals"
Naruto stopped and thought about the problem, he murmured aloud to himself "While I have the plans, I don't have the resources. There is that, they might be a bit surprised and scared. Nothing else I can do" Naruto then spoke up so Hinata could hear him "I have a way of making myself large and strong enough to transport them with ease, but it might scare them and you"
Hinata shook her head "No matter what Naruto-kun, I know that you won't hurt me unless it would help me"
Naruto smiled at Hinata's fervent response and said "Stand away from me, until I finish this Jutsu then, about fifty feet should do"
Hinata quickly retreated around fifty feet away from Naruto. He started a long and complex chain of hand seals, around sixty-two in total and then he shouted out "Dōbutsu no Tamashī" (Animal of the Soul).
Naruto then released a loud primal roar and from his back two massive western dragon wings shot out as his clothes slowly disappeared, Hinata blushed brightly as she caught a glimpse of Naruto's torso muscles and other... physical properties. Before long Naruto is covered in black scales, his hands have turned into Dragon feet with four front claws and a fifth rear claw and he starts to grow in size as he falls to all fours. A fifteen foot long tail sprouts from the base of his spine. After the Jutsu has finished its work, Naruto stands twenty feet tall and forty feet long with another fifteen feet of tail. His one hundred and five foot wingspan spreads out and his Draconian wings begin to take in wind in preparation of flight. Naruto has two horns sprouting from his head just above where his ears are and curling backwards about two feet. His eyes turn golden and his pupil goes to a dragon-like slit. In the end he stands as a powerful black dragon with silver highlights on his wings, a small splash of orange over his right eye eerily in the shape of an Uzumaki swirl Sigil and a row of spines that goes down the middle of his back, except for a small gap near the meeting point of his neck and torso where a rider could comfortable sit without fear of impaling themselves on his spikes.
Hinata stares at the now Dragon formed Naruto for a few seconds before a low pitched chuckle breaks her out of her stupor, she blushes as she realizes that Naruto is laughing at her. She does wonder slightly why his Dragon form is like those in the books from the west.
Naruto stopped chuckling and asked "So Hinata, what do you think?" his voice was much deeper as a Dragon.
Her embarrassment at seeing a glimpse of her crush naked and her instinctual fear of something so much larger and more powerful then herself crushed by her sheer awe at Naruto's transformation she simply said "You must tell me how you did that and teach me how to do it!"
She then caught herself and with an incredible feat of athletics, gymnastics and masterful Chakra control launched herself into the air, twisted around midair and landed softly in the hollow at the base of Naruto's neck "L-let's go hunting!" Hinata shouted in excitement.
With a running start and a powerful surge of his wings Naruto launched into the air. Quickly gaining altitude and with a birds eye view quickly spotted the herds of cows, sheep, pigs and horses. He gently banked towards them and almost leisurely took off towards them.

The first hint Shikamaru got of the return of Naruto and Hinata was the whooshing of vast quantities of air as something massive flew through the sky. The second hint was the sound of twenty or so animals crying out in shock and fear. The third was Hinata's excited shouts. So when he finally looked up at the sky (after spending ten seconds or so scanning the treeline) he could be forgiven for his mouth dropping open and his chin almost slamming into his feet. He quickly shook himself out of his shock and the very first thing he said after Naruto had landed was unsurprisingly "Troublesome"

A/N: Not my longest chapter and actually about 300 words below what I considered my cut-off point for a chapter for this (and most of my stories).
If you've read the bottom A/N of the remastered prologue then I've got nothing more to say as this was written at the same time.
If you haven't, then just flick over to the prologue and read the Bottom A/N to find out what has changed with this story and it's new direction Spoiler! There isn't going to be any Civilization crap like I said in the rewrite notification...
Feel free to make a comment about that in reviews, I'm betting around and 9 to 1 split, with the nine being people going 'Thank GOD' or something along those lines and the one being 'Aww'
But something tells me I'm being optimistic.
