"Oh, goto hell." The indignant 15year old snapped at herbrother, her blueeyes flashing. Rebekah Mikaelsonwas in enough of a mood at the moment without her older brother'sfrequent snappy remarks. Though as he often pointed
out, she was always in a mood, regardless of his remarks. "What's got your panties in a twist this fine afternoon, Bex?" He inquired of his little sister, an amused look cancelling out his attempt to sound genuinely concerned.

Rebekah crossed her arms stiffly across her chest. "It's none of your business, Kol." She retorted, sendinga pleading look towards her only other sibling in the room, Elijah, for assistance, though he appeared not to be aware of the scene unfolding
before him. "Oh come on, little sister. Confide." Kol paused, grinning mischievously. "Oi. Who wants to bet it's a boy?" His grin widened at the look of annoyance on his little sister's face. "Or should I say, another boy." The youngest Mikaelson
glared fiercely, grabbing a piece of fruit from the bowl on the kitchen and chucking it towards her brother. "Go. To. Hell!"

Elijah gave a resigned sigh, setting down the large (and in Kol's opinion, very boring) volume he'd been trying to read. "Kol," he began, his tone a mix of exasperation and resigned acceptance of his brother's behavior. "Must you antagonize our sister
so much?" Kol snorted, shoving his hands into his pockets. "You know it's true, Elijah. That's all our little baby sister cares about. Watch out, brother, we might have a strumpet in the family." He shook his head, a look of mock concern crossing
his features.

"We already do, Kol," Rebekah muttered. "You." Her sixteen year old brother sent her a cocky grin, to which both Rebekah and Elijah rolled their eyes.

"You know we all have enough going on at the moment without your pestering." Elijah stated, his face grim. Kol's face turned stormy as he mustered up his best efforts for a scathing retort.

"No need to talk to me brother. I'm sure it must be quite exhausting to have to climb off that high horse to converse with peasants such as myself. I'll spare you the obviousexertion."

The eldest in the room sent his little brother an annoyed glare. "I won't even dignify that statement with a response."

Kol opened his mouth to deliver a snappy retort, but was distracted by the sound of a slamming door, echoing up from the downstairs. "Nik!" Rebekah shrieked, racing down the stairs with Kol not far behind. Elijah followed at a slower pace, though the
look of anticipation on his face was just as intense as his siblings. All of them stopped short as the took in their brother's disheveled appearance. "Well?" Rebekah asked meekly, her voice barely above a whisper.

The other two didn't bother inquiring about the answer they sought. The grim look on their brother's face, and the uncharacteristic flash of fear in his eyes were answer enough. They barely even needed to hear the words he then uttered.

"He found us. Father is on his way."
