Sooooo, new chappie! This one took forever to write! I have to study for finals, then I had to go on this trip, and I had tons of homework, ugh. Anyways, my writing may seem to change just a bit about half way through because I wrote that part pretty late. So I was kind loopy hehe. Anyways, if you guys catch mistakes, please tell me! I never re-read something before I publish it, kind of my writer's ritual. So there are usually some mistakes! Anyways, enjoy!
(Oh wait, I don't own Fairy Tail. Darn it I always forget to do that)
Mirajane ran excitedly to the front of the guild stage where people were walking around amiable, waiting for the next part.
It was almost as if they were watching a movie only to find out the movie was part one of three. (A/N The Hobbit anyone?)
"Minna! Next chapter is in!" Mirajane screamed with glee.
Everyone ran to find a seat as the reading commenced.
Lucky for Yukino, as soon as everyone ran out of Fairy Tail, the group she had found herself in consisted of Erza, who was still catching her breath from the fight, Mirajane, and Reedus.
Even with the injured Titania, she was sure her group was the strongest. They took a different approach to hiding.
Instead of attempting to go to the places opposite of what they would like, they went to places they knew their other guild members enjoyed.
Reedus picked first, and they found themselves at a bar, after all, Cana was his pick.
No one drank any alcohol, wanting to be at the top of their game should a confrontation happen, but they still ordered some food and chatted for a while.
Soon it was Erza's pick and eventually they wound up at a library, courtesy of Levy.
This was mind numbingly boring for them as no one really felt like reading so the visit was deemed boring.
Soon the visit was cut short, unluckily for them, it wasn't by their choice.
"Oh shit, what's going to happen next?"
"I don't know flame brain, maybe if you stopped talking we could find out!"
"Maybe if you weren't so stupid I wouldn't be asking, ice princess."
"Wait, what? That doesn't even make sense."
"You don't make sense ice cube."
"You're an idiot."
"No you're an idiot."
"You can't even come up with your own comebacks pyro."
"You can't come up with your own comebacks!"
"Ugh, Mira keep reading."
You see, Fairy Tail had become popular. Especially after the Grand Magic Games and the addition of many Sabertooth mages.
So to say certain mages were famous was an understatement.
The problem Yukino's group faced was as much as people can dress down and change clothes, no one can mask Erza Scarlet's blazing red hair.
As they reconvened at a table in the library, squeals erupted from nearby patrons who ran up to the mages.
"OMG ARE YOU LIKE ERZA SCARLET!" "DUH LIKE OF COURSE SHE IS CHELSEA! WAIT SO YOU GUYS LIKE MUST ALSO BE LIKE FAIRY TAIL MAGES!"
In less than two seconds the entire group found themselves outside the library with the parting glare of an angry librarian who pointed to a 'quiet' sign.
"Omg, who are you guys? Like you must be like Fairy Tail mages too. Oh and my name is Julie."
Mirajane sighed before putting a smile on her face. Reaching her hand out she introduced herself. "Mirajane Strauss, at your service."
"But like you don't like look like Mirajane," said the one named Chelsea.
Mirajane released her magic, transforming back into herself.
"OMG JULIE IT IS LIKE MIRA!" "OMG CHELSEA I KNOW LIKE RIGHT! I HAVE GOT TO GET A PICTURE!"
Yukino and Reedus didn't know what to do, so they also introduced themselves.
"I'm Reedus." "And I'm Yukino."
The two girls glanced at each other before shrugging and continuing to fawn over Mira and Erza.
Suddenly Chelsea stopped, "Waaaaait, I remember you!" she cried pointing to Yukino.
Yukino puffed out her chest in pride until she heard the next sentence, "You're that girl who like got crushed like so bad and like bet your life in like the Grand Magic Games!"
"OMG, you're right Chelsea! I laughed so hard then!" Julie laughed.
Suddenly Erza and Mira's demeanor changed. "Sorry, we have to go. We don't talk to rude and insolent brats who laugh at someone who could crush them in a second."
"Ooooooooh those girls just got burned!" someone giggled.
"Do they need some ice for that burn?" their friend exclaimed.
"Even Gray's ice couldn't fix that!" a Fairy Tail member laughed.
"That's because his ice isn't near as good mine!" Lyon smirked.
"You wanna go Lyon because last time I we fought, I beat you!" Gray replied.
"Hah, I was going easy!" Lyon drawled. "Sureeeeeee," Gray responded.
"Are we just going to listen to these two idiots fight, or shall we continue?" Natsu snorted.
At that everyone sweat dropped. He of all people seriously can't say that.
Erza and Mira stalked away, nose pointed up high as Yukino and Reedus quickly followed.
Yukino, feeling unusually brave, turned around and flipped them off with both her hands.
Nearby, a man thought, 'That's my Yukino, full of surprises, and she's in for a few herself…'
In a forest somewhere near Fairy Tail, a man plodded through a trail. People had assumed he had gone off to train, and that's right what he wanted them to believe.
He was playing a game of chess, and the pieces were falling into place…
Mirajane was a peppy person. She tried to be more positive after her sister's 'death' and she felt she succeeded.
After that horrible experience, she loved to be a matchmaker. She figured, if she lost someone she loved, then she would make up for that by providing others with love.
But out of all the things that annoyed her about love related things, was the stupid dragon slayer holiday.
I mean come on! Where's the fun of dating? Finding out if you love them? Trying different people out and experiencing new things?
She always imagined in her mind like, "Me dragon, you mate, follow or I force you," or something like that. It was barbarian!
Just automatically assuming the girl or guy wants to be the mate, humph!
And to top it off, those rude girls insulting her guild mates. Do people have no courtesy these days?
Moving along with Erza, Yukino, and Reedus, it was her turn to pick a place. She ended up picking her younger sister's favorite spot, a nice hidden meadow, with tons of open space, easy to spot foes.
Or in this case, hormonal dragons.
The group sighed at the quiet space, soaking up the sun. Laying in the grass, the group allowed themselves to relax, feeling the stress leave their weary bones.
Too bad they always seem to make the mistake of putting their guard down.
Sting smirked and flew out of his hiding space, only to get hit by a strike of lighting, just before he came into view.
He found himself pinned to the ground, a groaning mass on top of him.
Looking up, he found none other than the mighty Laxus. Even in his less than stable mindset at the moment, all he could think was 'oh shit.'
Erza flew upwards from her spot, weapons ready. When she noticed there was no immediate threat, she motioned discreetly to her group to get up.
They fled the meadow and ran back into the town.
Erza turned to the other three, "Listen, I am positive I heard something. There's a chance someone already knows where we are, so now we need to try to find other Fairy Tail members and prepare for a confrontation. I think we have about five minutes before the person notices we left, so split up and meet back here with any members you find."
Yukino, Mirajane, and Reedus nodded with understanding and ran in opposite directions.
What Erza failed to account for, was lighting body, or Laxus' ability to turn into lighting and teleport.
Laxus frowned at the midget before him, "Let me get this straight, YOU are a dragon slayer?"
"Yessss!" Sting whined in response, not understanding why this was so hard to get.
Laxus roared in laughter at this, "I'm not the only one who doesn't get it!"
Sting glared at Laxus, but was too afraid of him to actually do anything. Instead he settled for fuming in his seat.
"Wait, I have been in the guild for a while now and I was even locked in one of the dragon slayer cages! How did you not know?" Sting asked.
"Oh, well I thought you were just really obsessed with Natsu or Rogue. I mean you are always pining to hang out with those two so I just figured you hung out with dragon slayers."
Sting's mouth dropped open in shock. He wasn't sure what to be more insulted by. The fact that Laxus didn't know he was a dragon slayer, or that Laxus thought he was obsessed with Natsu and Rogue. Well, Rogue. Natsu was understandable.
Suddenly they glimpsed movement in the corner of their eye, and found the previously occupied meadow empty.
"Listen, we both I'm assuming are trying to get a mate. Let's make a deal. You help me and transport me to Magnolia, I scout of the area and try to find your girl. Or guy." Sting held out his hand.
He winced as Laxus grabbed his hand, crushing it slightly.
"Let's get this straight, boy, I'm straighter than a ruler." And the deal was struck.
(A/N: No hate to those that are not straight! I have tons of friends who aren't! I just feel like Laxus would be one of those people who got defensive about issues like this.)
Meanwhile, somewhere in Magnolia, red eyes gleamed in the shadows.
"Why'd you stop!" someone cried. "Yeah!"
"You know the drill," Mira responded, "More waiting for the sake of suspense and all that junk!" Secretly of course, she was two minutes from reverting to her destructive personality.
"But since I seem to be in this story, let's change out readers!" Mira called.
The guilds nodded and a mop of brown hair stepped up.
"Hellooooooooo! Ya'll ready to get drunk? I mean read?"
Groans sounded as the guilds glared at the new reader, none other than the lovely Cana.
Reviews are super appreciated! I loved reading you guy's response, good or bad. The good makes me happy, the bad tells me what I can improve! Love ya'll!
