S.P.O.V.

"Skylyn," he wore a dark gray hoodie and blue jeans. His hair still looked wild, as if he'd been running his hands though it since the time I'd last seen him.

"You look great." he told me as I put my jacket on and shut my door.

"Thanks, so do you." I wanted to hit myself. Who freakin' says that?

"Thanks," he said, nevertheless.

"So, where is this 'Nicky's?" I asked as we walked out into the cold night. The cool air felt amazing on my skin and I closed my eyes for a moment, taking it in.

"Not that far, about 15 minutes from here." he replied and I watched as his breath showed in the cold air.

"Oh, okay. I didn't get to see much of the town today. I got pushed to the ground and spent a few hours talking to this weird boy with blue eyes." I said in a teasing voice and heard his magical laugh.

"Weird boy, huh… Then why are you going out with him?" I turned around to look at him, walking backward.

"He was nice, and kind of cute." I winked and turned around again, walking the right way. I don't know how I got it out of my mouth, but I thought it sounded good. Leave them with something to think about... Right?

We got to his car and the passenger door opened.

"Hello, ladies." a cool voice said as the owner stepped out of the car.

"Reid!" Tyler said loudly and walked faster to stand beside him. Reid looked very proud of himself for some reason, but I was willing to bet that's just how he always looked. A smirk on his lips, a joke only he knew in his eyes. He was young and handsome but rough. He was a rich boy who got away with everything and he owed no one anything. Reid Garwin was a bad boy from the right side of the tracks.

"Skylyn, might I say you are looking beautiful tonight?" I looked at him in amusement. Well, at least he was pleasant.

"You may." I said. I then looked at Tyler, who, up until this moment, looked very much in shock to see his best friend sitting in his vehicle. "Is he coming with us?" I asked him, a little confused. This kind of kills the mood.

"No."

"Yes." they answered in unison.

"No you're not." Tyler told him, the warning clear in his blue eyes.

"He can come, if he wants?" I offered, feeling a little awkward.

"See?" Reid said in victory. "She doesn't care!"

"Excuse us for a moment." Tyler said to me with a tight lipped smile as ge grabbed Reid's arm, walking a few steps away from me.

"Okay… I'll just be over here?" I sighed like a question and walked to the back of the Hummer.

"Well, why not?" I heard Reid question.

"Because I'm on a date!" Tyler hissed. He then looked back at me and I quickly look to the ground, not wanting to seem nosy.

"Come on, Baby Boy. Give me something to work with. I won't ruin your 'Big Date'." the rest was whispered and after a few minutes I head Tyler sigh and looked up to see them walking toward me.

"Um, Reid's going to tag along with us. Is that okay?" he asked carefully. I glared.

"No, it's not okay! Goodbye, Tyler!" I said and turned my back on him.

"Sky?!" he called after me, his tone panicked. I turned around and couldn't help but laugh.

"Oh, I'm just kidding. It's fine with me." I smiled at him and bit my lip to keep from laughing at the shock look his face had on.

"You can even have Shot Gun if you want." I said to Reid. Reid pulled at the beanie that was on the top of his blonde head and looked at Tyler.

"See? I told you! Man, I love your girl-she's great!" Tyler blushed and Reid patted him on his shoulder.

"Get the move on, Baby Boy. We have things to do, people to see." Reid said as he got in the car and shut his door.

"You didn't have to do that. He could sit in the back." I smiled at Tyler and shook my head.

"Yeah, I know. But it's okay. He's your best friend." I told him. Friends are important. I figured if I had any friends, I would probably be nice to them. I got in the backseat and buckled myself in. The car was huge and a little douchebagy to be honest. But nevertheless, it was still a nice car. The ride over was kind of awkward but Reid didn't seem like he noticed.

"How 'bout some music?" Reid asked and turned on the radio. Loud music came from the speakers and Tyler shut it off after a few seconds.

"How 'bout not?" Tyler said, putting his hand back on the wheel. Reid groaned.

"You're such a party killer, Baby Boy!" he then turned in his seat to look at me. "He's a party killer." I bit the inside of my cheek and nodded.

"Yeah, I heard you…"

"And you're a date killer." Tyler mumbled from the front seat.

"Oh don't give yourself a headed, Baby Boy. At least you'll remember your first date forever." my eyes popped open a little.

"First date?" I questioned once I frond my voice. Reid laughed.

"Oh, he didn't tell you? This is his first 'Real Date'." he made quote marks with his fingers.

"Shut up, Reid." Tyler said thought his teeth. But Reid kept going.

"I mean, he's never really taken a girl out. But sometimes at dances his mother finds him his dates if you can call it that."

"Shut up, Reid!" Tyler said, a bit louder.

"It wouldn't surprise me if he were still a virgin—"

"Damn it, Reid!" Tyler yelled and let go of the wheel to jump at Reid.

"Tyler!" I yelled when the car swerved and started going in the other lane. He let go of Reid quickly and grabbed at the wheel again.

"Damn, Baby Boy! You could've killed the girl!" Reid said as he looked at Tyler in shock.

"Are you okay, Sky?" Tyler asked calmly, but his tone was still hard.

"Um… yeah. I'm okay?" it sounded like a questioned even to me. It freaked me out of how much that had just reminded me of Sam and Dean, and even more? Why did Reid say only I would've died? I wanted to get out of the car at this point as I was now sure teenage boys are just as stupid (if not more sure) than guys in their twenties. Which is what I was used to having Sam and Dean around always. If they didn't scare me when it came to men what what they're like to live and deal with, then I don't know what would.

"Reid, shut up or I swear to whatever is out there that I will throw you out of this car so fast…" Tyler warned him.

"Oh, whatever," Reid said, leaning back in his seat and pouting like a little boy. We drove for what felt like forever in silence. I hated it.

"Um… a group of snails is called a walk." I threw out there. Reid laughed and looked back at me.

"What are you, Snail Girl?" I rolled my eyes at him and looked out the window.

"I don't like too much quiet. Can't stand it, really," I admitted and stared at trees as Tyler drove quickly down the road. It was beautiful here. Trees and land and nothing for miles. Peaceful. Peaceful, if you don't count the murders that take place here. Closing my eyes, I thought about the reason I was here. What am I doing?

"Ah, she's a keeper." Reid muttered to Tyler and I lead my head across the cool glass of the window.

"Yeah… I'm a keeper." I mumbled quietly.

"How about some music?" Reid asked again and the rest of the ride was seen in loud music and an even louder Reid.

"Oh, this place is cool." I said as we walked though the doors of "Nicky's".

It was like a teenage bar, with all the kids who probably went to Spencer.

"Yeah, isn't it though, Baby Boy?" Reid said, throwing an arm over Tyler's shoulder. Tyler sighed and didn't try to shake him off.

"Yeah, great." he said quietly. My eyes then went to the left side of the room and I'm pretty sure they lit up.

"Pool tables!" I said happily.

"You play?" Reid asked with a smirk.

"As a matter of fact, I do." I said with my own smirk.

"Oh, would you like to put your money where your mouth is?" he asked.

"Reid, stop." Tyler gave him a disappoint stare.

"Oh, Reid, I would love to just kick your ass so hard…" I said, the longing evident in my voice. "But I'm on a date, and it's not with you." Tyler smirked some and Reid stared at me with clear blue eyes.

"I could be your date if you want?" he offered.

"Reid," Tyler hissed and stepped away from him.

"No thanks. Blondes have too much fun for me." I replied sweetly and Tyler laughed, pulling me toward the tables.

"I'm sorry about him. That's just the way he is." Tyler told me sadly. I smiled.

"It's okay, I don't mind." I was used to guys talking to me that way. I just wasn't used to having to put up with it. And I definitely was not used to high school boys. I then looked at the table and the two sticks that were on it.

"Do you wanna play?" he looked at me with a brow arced.

"You wanna play me?" I nodded and rolled my eyes.

"Please tell me you're not one of those guys who think girls can't do anything but cook?" I almost begged and he shook his head.

"No, no. If you wanna play—I'll play you." I smiled and threw the rack at him.

"Good, because I'm not that great a cook, and I can do a lot more than just that." I then felt a smile overtake my face. "Rack it."

"Oh, last ball! How will this ever turn out?" I said in despair as I looked at Tyler and grinned. He shook his head and looked at the table in defect.

"Maybe I should've tried harder?" he said, and I laughed.

"You better had not been going easy on me," I warned him. He put his hands out in surrender.

"Oh, no, wouldn't dream of it." I raised my brows at him and he sighed.

"Okay, for the first few balls… but then I started trying, and you still kicked my ass!" I laughed, throwing my head back and looked at him.

"Fine, I'll let you off with being honest. But if I make this shot, you have to do something for me." I told him, as I got ready to take my last shot.

"What?" he questioned, walking around the table and leaning in close to me.

Calm down, Sky, I told myself as my heart started beating faster.

"You can buy me a drink." I told him, not taking my eyes off the table and listening to his quiet chuckle.

"What kind of date would I be if I didn't?" I pulled my cue stick back and the ball went in.

"Looks like I get a drink." I said with a smirk and he smiled.

"Sure—" my phone rang, and he stopping talking.

"Sorry…" I mumbled and went for my cell phone. I picked it up without looking at the name.

"Hello?" I asked, trying to hear whoever was on the line and not the loud music playing from the junk box.

"Sky? Where are you?" my eyes widened when I heard my brother's voice and I took a few steeps away from Tyler.

"Dean, hey…" I said softly.

"Where are you? Where's that music coming from?" I glanced back at Tyler to see him looking at me curiously.

"That's just my roommate playing her music." I said lamely.

"You don't have a roommate, Sky!" I cursed. Damn, I am so smooth!

"What? I can't hear you!" I said loudly.

"Sky… Skylyn Winchester, you answer me, right now!"

"Sorry, I can't hear—hello?!" I faked losing the call and hung up.

"Is everything okay?" Tyler asked as I turned back around.

"Yeah, sorry about that…you owe me a drink." I smiled and he smiled back, but I couldn't help noticing how it wasn't as bright as it was before.

"What do you want?"

"Whatever is cool," I nodded and he went away.

"Damn you, Dean." I cursed my brother quietly. If Reid didn't put the night to a bumpy start, Dean may have just ended it.

"Well, well, well. Look what we have here." I turned around and came face to face with the dickhead known as Aaron.

"Where's your girlfriend? Have a late night shift in hell?" I asked nicely and he looked at the other two guys behind him.

"I don't have a girlfriend." he clarified.

"Girlfriends, whatever," I turned back around and watched as Tyler told a large guy behind the bar what he wanted to drink.

"You know, I think we got off to a bad start. I'm Aaron." he held his hand out and I thought about taking it, and then thought better.

"I hate to think where that has been." I said instead and he stopped smiling and glared.

"You little bitch. What the hell is wrong with you?" I grinned.

"Um… I don't really wanna list everything, so yeah…" I said sadly, fighting the urge to pout at him. I needed to stay out of trouble, but God did I love getting people fired up.

"What seems to be the problem?" Reid asked as he seemingly came from out of nowhere.

"Garwin," Aaron greeted him. "you up for a game?"

"You up to lose?" Reid replied. Aaron glared.

"Big words, Garwin. Have any money to back it up?"

"What's going on?" Tyler asked as he came up behind me and handed me my drink.

"Nothin', nothin'… say, Baby Boy, you up for a game of two on two?" Reid asked, nodding his head toward Aaron and the other guys.

"Um… Reid…" Tyler nodded his head toward me.

"Oh. It's okay if you wanna play. I think I saw Kate and Sarah, anyway."
I told him quickly, looking around the room.

"No, it's okay—"

"Really, have fun. I'll be back later, okay?" I smiled at him and he nodded.

"Okay…" he said, a little unsure.

"Oh, thanks for the drink." I told him, biting my lip and turning around.

"Welcome!" I heard him call after me. I turned back after to see him looking the other way and talking with Reid. With a sigh I made my way through the crowd of dancing people and saw Kate, Sarah, Caleb, and surprise, surprise: Chase.

"Hey, guys." I said as I got to their table.

"Sky! Hey!" Kate said cheerfully and took a sip of her drink.

"Hey Sarah… Caleb… Chase." I said carefully at the end. Something about Chase gave me the creeps, and I wasn't sure if I should tell Kate that or not.

"Hey, Sky. How was your day?" he asked politely and again I didn't really feel like answering.

"It was fine, thanks… how was the movie?" I asked. Kate answered.

"It was great! I really didn't see that ending coming!" I smiled at her and Pogue walked in from the other side of the room.

"Hey," he greeted her, leaving a kiss on her lips.

"Hey baby. You missed a great movie." she told him sweetly.

"Yeah, I had to get my bike fixed." he said, looking at Chase then Caleb.

"Bike?" I questioned.

"Yeah, motorcycle." I grinned.

"What kind?"

"A Ducati." I groaned.

"Um, I'm so jealous! Is it outside?" I asked and he nodded.

"If it's not there when you leave, you know who has it." he laughed and Kate looked at me weirdly.

"You speak car-and-driver?" I shrugged.

"It's not a car." I smirked and she shook her head and looked at Pogue.

"Its okay: Chase kept me company."

"I just bet he did…" he said slowly, with a side glare at Chase. He then took off his jacket and Chase mimicked his actions. A few minutes later the boys were off, leaving us girls alone.

"So, Sky." Kate said, looking at me with big eyes. "Who are you here with?" I smirked.

"Do I have to be with someone to come here?" she shook her head and then groaned.

"Come on, give me something!" I laughed at her begging tone and looked over by the pool tables.

"Tyler asked me." her mouth opened some and she smiled widely.

"No! Baby Boy did?" I frowned.

"Why do people call him that?" I asked.

"He's the youngest, it's his nickname from the guys." she waved it away.

"Don't try to get out of it! What happened? Did he just up and ask you? Did you run into him?" I sighed and told her a shorter story of what had happened today.

"Oh, my God... Little Tyler Simms is growing up!" she said, wiping a fake tear from her eye. I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah, some date." I said.

"What's wrong?" Sarah asked, worry in her voice. I waved my hand in front of me.

"I'm right here and Tyler—" I pointed to where he was. "—is all the way over there," Kate then clapped her hands and made a shooing motion.

"Well, go. Shoo, shoo! Go get your man!" I rolled my eyes but got up.

"He's not my man." I told her and she smirked.

"No, not yet. But you want him to be." I shook my head and walked back over to the pool tables as Reid put some money in his pocket.

"What's going on?" I asked Tyler as I stood beside him. He looked at me and smiled.

"Hey, you," I smiled back.

"Hey, you,"I mocked.

"What's going on with Reid?" I asked again.

"Aaron bet him he couldn't make a few combo shots." he said with a grin.

"And can he?" I asked the important question.

"Oh yeah." he nodded. "He can."

"Sky… came by to give me a good luck kiss?" Reid asked as he walked around the table. I rolled my eyes at him.

"Good to know you'll hit on your best friends date, right in front of him." I answer and he smirked.

"Hey, if you weren't so cute…" I rolled my eyes again and Tyler glared at him.

"Play your game, Reid." he said, giving him an almost secret nod. A new song then started to play and I knew it as "I Love Rock And Roll" by Joan Jett and the Black Hearts. Everyone cheered and I saw Sarah making her way to her man and pulled Caleb to the dance floor. I then looked at Chase, and he stood alone, watching Caleb and Sarah with a small smirk on his lips. There's something wrong with that guy… I thought. I then looked at Reid as he leaned over the table and for a second, his eyes looked fully black. I blinked and looked at him again and his eyes were the clear blue they were a moment before. I shook my head. What had I just witnessed?

"Well, look at that." he said to Aaron and held his hand out. "Pay up." his eyes were black. I couldn't get the picture out of my mind. No, no, Sky. It was probably just the light… hunting too many demons lately… that's it. I tried to tell myself as I heard Aaron curse.

"You cheated!" he yelled at Reid, getting in his face.

"Like hell I did!" Reid defended.

"You saw it with your own eyes, Aaron. He beat you." Tyler told him.

"He cheated!" he yelled again.

"How?" I asked, walking forward some and making myself known.

"Would you just stay out of it?" Aaron hissed at me and I cocked my head to the side.

"No… I don't think I will." I answered.

"Sky…" Tyler said, coming closer to me.

"Back off, girlie."

"Ow, Abbot, don't make me hurt you." I warned him, my eyes set in a glare. He looked at me with surprise and then laughed.

"What's a sweet little thing like you gonna do to me?" I smiled a twisted little smile and he looked freaked out.

"Oh, Abbot, wouldn't you just love to know?" I almost purred. I loved messing with people, especially assholes like Aaron.

"What are you, their whore? You're fucking both of them?" he asked with a smirk. Tyler stepped up to him, his eyes looking darker.

"What did you say?"

"Tyler…" I said, grabbing onto his arm. The last thing I wanted was a fight to happen because of me.

"No, asshole, now give me my money and we'll just go about like this never happened." Reid said, pulling Tyler back.

"Why don't you make me, Garwin?"

"You wanna take this outside?" Reid said. Aaron pushed Reid into a nearby table and glass went flying onto the floor, breaking it and making every head turn our way. Reid looked away for a moment then pushed him back harder.

"Tyler." I hissed, hoping he would stop them. Aaron then pushed Reid into Tyler, making us both stumble back.

"Whoa, you okay?" Tyler asked me quickly.

"Yeah, fine. You should stop them." I told him as Reid got a hold of Aaron and they headed toward the backdoor. Tyler followed after them and I followed him.

"Tyler?" I called and he turned around.

"Stay here." he told me, almost like an order.

"But, I—"

"Just stay! Please!" he left, leaving me shocked as I watched as Pogue and Caleb followed as well.

"Sky, do you know what's going on?" Sarah asked as she walked up to me and looked at the door Caleb and the guys had just gone though.

"Reid and Tyler were playing pool and Aaron started something with Reid." I answered, sighing on the last words.

"Wow, I hope they're okay." she said worriedly.

"Me too." I agreed.

"Hey, I'm going to get some air, okay?" she nodded. I walked out of Nicky's and stood out front as I breathed the cold air in. I then saw Aaron and his friends angrily walking from the side of the place and down the street, cursing and kicking rocks as they went. I stared at them for a minute or two and then heard a sound of loud, breaking glass. Confused, I walked to the side of the building and came to an allyway. I stayed in the shadows, but turned my head enough to see Reid glaring at Caleb as he wiped something off his shoulder.

"I didn't use later!" he hissed. Use? What the hell?

He walked back into Nicky's and I heard Tyler answering Caleb.

"It's not right using on each other, Caleb." Tyler told him.

"Oh, tell that to Reid!" Caleb snapped. Use on each other? What the hell are they talking about? Drugs? Caleb didn't seem like the drugs type. Tyler sighed.

"I have. Lots of times. I have to get back." Caleb then looked up at him.

"So, you and the Winchester girl?" I bit my lip as Tyler rubbed the back of his neck.

"Um, we just kind of ran into each other and got to talking. She's actually pretty cool." I felt like clapping my hands like a little girl. He thinks I'm cool! God I'm sad…

"And you like her…" Caleb said, a smile coming to his face when Tyler blushed.

"It's alright. She's a nice sight." This time, I'm pretty sure I blushed.

"Watch it." Tyler said, punching his arm in good humor. Caleb laughed.

"Alright, alright—let's get back." They turned around and started walking back inside. Shit! I left as quietly as I could and then got to the front of Nicky's as fast as I could.

I walked back into Nicky's and got as far to the bar as I could before Tyler found me.

"Hey…" he said slowly.

"Hey," I said, walking up to him.

"Are you okay?" I asked. He looked a little shaky and his breathing was kind of hard.

"Yeah, I'm fine—"

"You have glass on you!" I exclaimed as I picked a piece of green glass off his hoodie.

"Um, yeah, it's nothing. It got on me somehow." he said lamely, and I wondered if that was the noise I had heard.

"Are you sure you're okay?" I asked, feeling worried suddenly.

"Yeah, I'm fine, Sky. Really." he smiled and took my hand. I looked down at his hand in mine and I liked the way it looked. Even more; I liked how it felt. His hand was big and warm and I squeezed it in mine. It felt soft and rough in a few places, like he didn't have to work for anything. But if he went to Spenser Academy, I'm sure he was loaded, and didn't need to work for what he probably had.

I looked back up at him and smiled when he looked at me worriedly.

"I'm glad." I admitted and looked around. "Where's Reid? Is he okay?" he nodded.

"Yeah, he just went to blow off some steam." he told me.

"We're taking off." Caleb said as he and Sarah stopped by us. Caleb and Sarah stared at our linked hands and Tyler let go of my hand and put his in his pockets. Feeling disappointed, I did the same.

"Okay, we should probably go, too." Tyler told me and I tried to smile, telling myself I wouldn't feel hurt by his inability to hold my hand with his friends around.

"Okay, well Kate and Pogue took off already. Kate said she'd talk to you later." Caleb finished, looking at me. I nodded.

"Okay, it was nice to see you again, Caleb." I smiled and he smiled back.

"You too." He and Sarah left and I looked at Tyler shortly.

"I'll go get my jacket." I muttered and started walking back to the table Kate and Sarah had been sitting at. I grabbed my jacket and turned around, running into someone.

"Oh, wow, I'm sorry, Sky." I looked up at Chase as he smiled and I took a step back.

"That's okay, Chase." I said and tried to pass him, only having him right in front of me again.

"You look very nice tonight, Skylyn." he told me as his blue eyes ran over me. I pulled my bottom lip between my teeth and stared him down. What is it with him calling me by my name like that all the time?

"Thank you." I tried to get back around him and he blocked me.

"Do you need a ride back? I'm heading back in a few minutes." I was about to answer when an arm was thrown over my shoulder.

"Hey, Chase." Tyler nodded to him and looked at me. "You ready to go?" I nodded, even though I knew what he was doing.

"Yeah, I was just telling Chase goodnight." I smiled at Chase and looked back to Tyler.

"Tyler's gonna take me back, but thanks anyway." Chase nodded and looked at Tyler a little longer than necessary.

"That's cool, hey… I'll see you in class tomorrow." he smirked and walked away. I looked at Tyler and he was watching him with hard look on his face.

"You ready?" I asked, taking his arm off me and putting my jacket on.

"Yeah…" He answered. I could tell he felt the sharp edge of my words.

We didn't talk much in the car. I was still kind of mad—not hurt. I wouldn't let myself feel hurt by a guy that had no power over me at all. And who was he to be jealous of weirdo Chase? That's what he was: jealous. The way he put his arm on me like he owned me, but wouldn't hold my hand in front of Caleb. What was that shit? I didn't know where Reid was, but Tyler had said he would find a ride home or call him later.

"Do you want me to walk you to your room?" he asked as he stopped his car outside of my dorm. He got out of the car before I could answer and opened my door for me.

"Thanks…" I muttered.

"No problem." once we got to my door we stood there for a few minutes.

"Are you okay, Sky?" he asked, looking up at me though long lashes. I tried to smile again and he stopped me.

"There it is again." he said with a frown.

"What?" I asked, confusion clear in my voice.

"That fake smile. What happened to the real one?" he questioned as he took a step closer to me.

"What happened to the nice guy who held my hand?" I threw back and he frowned.

"That's what this is about?" He looked like he wanted to laugh. I glared.

"Well, Tyler, I'm not big on hand holding or PDA or anything, but what was so wrong about Caleb seeing you hold my hand?" he shook his head and looked at me with his all-too-blue eyes.

"Nothing. There was nothing wrong with Caleb or Sarah, or anyone seeing me hold your hand. I just didn't want to have to tell him right then and there why I was doing it." he explained.

"And why were you doing it?" I asked, now taking a step toward him. We were only a few inches from each other now.

"I… I felt like it." he answered softly.

"Why?" I asked, just as soft.

"I… ah!" he broke off, running his hands though his hair.

"I just met you and I feel like I know you. I know that's cheesy to say, and I probably sound like some dumb teen movie, but it's the truth." he then looked at me and I grinned.

"So what you're trying to say is… you like me?" I asked, trying not to smile too much.

"Are you smiling?! You think this is funny?!" I gigged some.

"You're cute when you're confused." I told him before I could stop myself and he blushed for the first time tonight.

"So you think I'm cute?" he asked, like what I had said was a joke.

"I don't know…. do you like me?" I questioned back. He looked down at me and smiled, shaking his head, as if he were shaking his thoughts away.

"Yes. I like you, Skylyn Winchester, and it is freaking me out." I smiled.

"I've never heard that one before." I told him.

"And yes: I think you're cute." And hot. And sexy, and everything else…. Stop it!

"Why does it freak you out to like me?" I asked, moving from foot to foot.

"I've only known you for less than 24 hours, and yet, I feel like that's enough." he said calmly as he took another step toward me.

"That's never happened to me before." he admitted and I smiled.

"That's not so freaky." I teased, and his smiled fell some.

"And I don't know how I would be if you were to tell me you want me to leave you the hell alone because the second time I meet you, I knock you to the ground and spill your drink everywhere. I'm not the smoothest person; I don't always remember what day it is, or when I'm supposed to be somewhere. I don't even know if you like me, and I just want—"

"Shut up, Tyler Simms." I whispered before I pulled him down and kissed him lightly on his lips. They were as soft as I thought they would be, and for a moment he just stood in shock. I pulled away from him and opened my eyes to see his still closed and his breathing heavy.

"I like you too." I told him and he opened his eyes.

"You just kissed me." he stated.

"Uh-huh." I nodded. He was adorable and very amusing. I would eat him alive if he gave me the chance.

"You just said you liked me." I bit my lip but a small giggle still came out.

"Yes. I did." he stayed where he was, his mind working slowly.

"I'm going to go in my room now. You should probably go to yours, too." I told him, smiling.

"Okay." he answered, almost in a trance.

"Okay." I mocked with a smile as I opened my door.

"Wait!" he called out before I could shut my door. I looked at him and he was blushing.

"When can I see you again?" I smiled and shook my head.

"I'll see you in the morning, Tyler. We go to the same school, remember?" he nodded and I bit my lip, but couldn't keep the smile form my face anymore.

"Right,"

"Goodnight, Tyler."

"Night, Skylyn."

As I closed my door, Tyler Simms was still standing there, hands in pocket, smile in his eyes. I leaned against my door as my fingers found their way to my lips, still feeling the shape of his mouth on mine.

What the hell was I thinking?

So, I owe you guys an explanation.

I know this story as well as Not As It Seems has not been updated since, like, 2011. I can explain.

I loved writing this story. I look back at it and see all of my typos and remember my sleepless nights writing these fanfics and I cringe. Hard. Really hard. What heck was I thinking? But that's not the point.

My father passed away unexpectedly as I was writing this story. He was my best friend and my whole world. I fell into a deep depression. I wanted to die. Slowly, I found my will to live again and I have found my way back to writing. My heart isn't in these stories any longer, as you can probably imagine. I started writing fanfics when I was 14 and now I'm 22 and oh, yeah—I'm married! Since last October. Shout out to my husband!

But anyway—back to the point—I want to finish these stories. I recently logged in after thinking about this story and saw all of your lovely messages and reviews. I already have a few chapters of this story finished and almost really to go—I just need to edit the crap out of them, of course! But I want to finish this story. I want to finish Not As It Seems. I want all of you, who still messaged me even after four years, to know how it ends.

I promise I'll finish it for you guys.

Thank you. I love you. I'm so sorry.
