SO SORRY FOR THE LATE UPDATE! You all are in your right to hate, I hate myself too because I couldn't get any inspiration. I wanted to write everything in one chapter but it seemed so long and I was getting blocked in my head with every word. Nothing seemed to fit in the first try. Anyway, the wait it's over and I hope you all have patience for the next chapter.
See you below!
Disintegration
One second they were in Pitch's liar, the King didn't appear after Sophie noticed a trace of ice leading to the tunnels, they followed it with great precaution feeling the temperature going down each second, the trace of ice got thicker and they started to see their breathes and feeling the chills of cold everywhere. It was awful, Jack didn't matter but Jamie and Sophie were the ones suffering. The trace ended inside of one of the thousand tunnels, little snowflakes flew tenderly out of it. They entered just to find themselves with the Snow Queen right in front of them, facing the King of Nightmares in total disbelief. When she caught the sight of them, they felt even cooler in their toes, even Jack did. Which means something was wrong with her, especially because her glowing eyes were the first they noticed, that and the strange color in her lips and hair.
"Elsa?" Jack named her but she took a step back at the name, hecouldn't help it, and it has been centuries after the last time he saw her. He wanted to met her again but not like this, not in this circumstances.
"Back off Jack. This is non of your concern." Pitch's tone could tell he was at his limit of temper, and it need it a lot to make him get this mad. Jack didn't listened, he need to clear things up with Elsa and to know why was she doing this.
"What is it that you're not telling Pitch? Is she doing this because of you?"
"Stupid kid! Get away from her!"
Out of the blue, she began to laugh hysterically while her fingers curled into a fist, the ice spread over the ground and trapped Pitch and the rest scaring mostly Sophie. Pitch only seemed pissed and Jack's confusion just grew bigger. When he summoned his dark sand to get free from the ice, she stopped him by sending a deadly spike from the ground to him, the spikes stuck in his robe to avoid any other movement. She playful indicated not to repeat it with her index finger and a wicked smile. That wicked smile that he knows so very well he can get sick of it every time he sees it.
Her eyes fell on the boys and girl, she prepared to attack, she was willing to do it, anything to get lost, as it was suppose to be.
"No!You promised! Don't hurt them!" she heard in her mind the screaming, that annoying voice, the voice of the girl who couldn't control all this powers. It was giving her more trouble than she expected. "Shut up" She whispered, Pitch listened perfectly. "They will not stop what we did." Her fingers curled until the fist was so hard the ice react at the motion. The trace of ice went all the way until it covered the feet and legs of everyone. "No! Leave them alone! They have nothing to do with this." She had enough of the complaints, the screaming and the whining. She stopped abruptly feeling the little girl trying to take control again, her hand sent an ice blast and hit a tree not so far from her, the act made it the crying baby girl regained her will again.
She ran as a result, not hiding the terrifying expression of her own in the moment that girl almost won total control of her body again. Pitch saw it, he saw her. That monster was controlling her again, that means no one, and not even the guardians could stop her, not even him.
"Andrew where the hell are you now?" he claimed, waiting he wouldn't take any longer.
The room was gone; her bed wasn't there, the closet and the windows disappeared. In the moment she accepted the deal everything went dark and now her hands were trapped in handcuffs, which covered all the hand and fingers with solid and raw metal. She could see the outside from a medium size window that mirrored everything in the real world. The place where she was caught was a dungeon. She went forth and back slowly just to feel that the chains pull her back to her place, she accepted the deal but the condition to allowing the other woman total control of her body and powers was not to hurt any one else. She only wanted to scape, there was not time to tell Pitch the truth, not anymore.
There were few things that scared her; one of them was the woman with pointy heels and white hair that was coming to threat her, like many years ago. She walked smoothly, letting the young girl feel the pressure in her chest. The next she felt was her hair being pulled and some nails digging hard enough in her scalps, making her groan in little bit of pain.
"I told you to keep your mouth shut. If I say something you just obey and let me handle this curse of yours. That was the deal." As she was demanding her nails dug harder. No complains came from the black haired girl.
"No, the deal was to get me out of the liar to go to the South Pole. And you promised not hurt anyone else. THAT was the deal." She articulated with success on not shivering in scare. Then the white haired girl let go of the other abruptly until the little girl was sitting in the stone floor. She walked slowly to her, looking at her eyes with disgust and hate as some filthy piece of trash in her way; and as a survival instinct, the little girl drew back until her back touched the cold wall.
"You have no right to speak to me like that. Not when I just get you out of the sight of Jack Frost and the others back there." She pointed with authority in her tone. "You practically committed a crime against the man who almost sends the entire world in another Dark Age. No wonder what he could do to you if he founds out." She hissed with poison in the fact of the event. "I would try to keep the conditions of our deal, but you have to keep your opinions to yourself." She said a sassy tone, the other girl frown her eyebrows in disapproval. "Oh! I have a better idea."
With the happiness of a child she snapped her fingers, and then the protests of the black haired girl fell in silent. Screaming and complaining got caught in her throat. Her mouth was trapped in a cold piece of metal, hanging in her ears and just allowing the girl to breathe. She hurried her hands to take it off but the handcuffs did nothing for her. The white haired woman smiled wickedly again, turning away from the little girl with happy taps in her heels.
"Don't worry, this will be over soon. After all, if I manage the situation from here I would not kill three people like you already did."
"What are you saying? It's not Elsa? Then who the hell is doing all this infernal winter?"
"The real question here is, why did the guardians sent you to confirm if it was her? Are they busier with something else? In case they didn't notice…there is an Eternal Winter ready to stay and to isolate the whole world!"
"Would you two just shut up and get us out if here?!"
Jamie and Sophie were stuck in the ice the Queen created, the same for Jack and Pitch, the situation was bad but the only two people to get them put of there and to find the Snow Queen were fighting like nothing but mere children.
Jack stopped his complaining and tried to force the ice back with his staff. The ice in Jack's feet glowed a little, the cold energy accumulated and then the ice ruptured and exploded, like a tiny bomb of crystals. He did the same for his friends too. Pitch stood in front of them, out of the spikes and without a scratch.
"This is something beyond your knowledge, Frost. Go to the guardians and tell them to step away from this." He ordered, Pitch wanted to deal with her, but he needed to do it alone, with no distractions or collateral damage, no, it wasn't worth it.
"Like hell I'm going. You're not telling something. If it's not Elsa then who?" Jack got enough. He needed to know who the hell was doing all of this so he could stop it and convinced the others that Elsa was innocent. He always thought it wasn't her in the first place, but the doubt was buzzing in his head as a second thought. "Start talking before I-"
"Before what? You wanna to fight in the middle of this storm? Fine then! Let's see how long it takes the wind to start playing with you again, Jack." Jamie had enough of them. His sister was shivering, she couldn't speak and he couldn't feel his face either.
Pitch thought for a moment. They were curious, if he learnt something through all these centuries, is that curiosity could be an advantage, that if he knows how to treat it in this kids. Jamie was as curious as before the day he claimed to believe in him but didn't fear him, no, his curiosity was stronger now. And Sophie, well, she's still a little girl, a fan of fairies and probably, a fan of the magical things. Yes, Sophie would love her, sure she will.
Jack saw something is the distance, very far from their position, it wasn't clear but he was sure it was a little…cottage? "Ok. Sophie." He called her to carry her in his back. But before saying anything else, Pitch formed three steeds the best he could, the wind was dismissing pretty much of the sand and it was a lot more difficult to making the horses like he always does. One took Sophie and Jamie, the other snorted at Jack and Pitch made his way in another one to the cottage Jack had seen. The sand seemed to be losing along the wind, but the steeds remain, they were feeling the strong blizzard pushing them back but one they found it easy to move along the short stops of the wind, they saw nearer and nearer the little cottage.
Red Flame with Wings
He was careless, for one moment he seemed distracted. He didn't know what was distracting hi and suddenly he felt Elsa's lips pressing against his. Her eyes were closed, his were wide open, horribly wide and very open. He saw her eyelashes, black and dusted with tiny sparkles of snowflakes, the soft red in her pail cheeks and the little mounts of freckles in her nose. He felt something, that made him close his eyes as well and then she pulled back. The shadows, all the forces within him were swirling and clashing in his guts and soul.
"What…?" He articulated, feeling every movement, everything cracking and fighting at the same time.
Elsa smiled a little; he didn't seem disturbed or upset with her. That encouraged her to lean forth and do it again. The time, she held his shoulders. Pitch was still absorbed in whatever was happening in his insides. The Queen kissed him again, slowly, feeling embarrassment mixed with relief and happiness. Pitch let her kiss him, liking the feeling of her soft lips but hating his inner forces fighting and crashing all over within. He pulled back, needing a moment to calm himself while the breath felt missing in his lungs.
"It's ok." She said, softly and resting her pals in his shoulders, still smiling and searching for his eyes.
"What is happening?" He asked closing his eyes, hurt crept in his body.
"Even the darkness can see the light." She sentenced with a gentle smile.
Pitch knew those words. He felt anger, his powers still making his body hurt but he didn't care. "Who told you that?!" Elsa has never heard him so angry, irritable, and seriously angry. He denied her hands and drew back pointing at her like some criminal. She only felt surprised in a bad way by his motions.
"I don't now…she said that…she…" Elsa didn't know how to explained to him quickly.
Pitch look at his liar, at his cages.
"That filthy bird…" he said. "That insufferable, filthy and stupid bird!"
"Who are you talking about?" Elsa felt worry, she thought Pitch was talking to his cages.
"Lilith! Your new little feathery friend Lilith!" He pointed at her again. Elsa was against the wall, feeling really like a criminal. "How did she get to you?" he demanded. "How did Cupid's little sister get to find you and talk to you? How did she convince you to do this?"
He walked slowly to her, accusing her like a traitor. Elsa couldn't help but feeling tiny with every step, and feeling confused with his words. She didn't do anything, she couldn't, and she wasn't going to attack him. The only thing she could do was wait for him to stop and to let her talk. Deep inside she knew that wouldn't happen.
"Oh, I see now. You work with her. You two wanted to mock at me and to make me weak. I knew you wouldn't care for me." The way he said it, it was like spitting his awful truth and thinking she knew despite her expression.
Elsa gathered all of her forces to step further and take his hand. "That is not-" he snatched his hand back.
"Shut up!"
"This means true love!" That was the only thing she came up with all his screaming and protesting. Pitch felt disgust at her words.
"Shut the hell up!" this time he pushed her back; he didn't want her near to him, not at all.
"Why wouldn't you believe me?" Elsa was trapped against the corner and Pitch hands, gripping her arms.
"Because no one, no one can ever, ever love me!" he shook her with every pause, she only closed her eyes and wait for him to stop. Her chest hurt. Pitch practically dragged her into the shadows; in the next blink Elsa was back in the castle, her room silent and the Aurora borealis dancing above in the sky. He drew threw her abruptly and not caring she ended in the floor, kneeling and starting sobbing when she looked back at him. He only disappeared.
Back in his dominions, he felt the shadows calming inside.
"And I thought my brother was a jerk with the ladies." Her voice, that irritable voice. That filthy blonde dark girl. "Have any idea how long it took me to convinced her to tell you the truth? It was horrible." He looked in the cages, the dark spots he knew perfectly but she was hiding very cleverly. "She kept doubting, thinking about the worst and talking about how you might react at her. I guess she was right."
Pitch traveled through the shadows, searching for the vain girl. He stopped at the sight of a feather, white and pure almost luminous among the darkness of his place. He looked up and found her. Long and wavy blonde dark hair, a red outfit with a gold belt and bronze high heels. She was upside down like a child in some kind of tree. She waved her hand with a serious face. He walked to the wall at his left and ended upside down, just like her, she was hanging on an old and cracked stone beam.
"As I said. I didn't waste a whole evening talking to your Queen so you can scream and accusing her to conspiring with me in some attempt to mock at your very existence. I can do that without help. Thank you for nothing." She sounded tired, she was. Her lips weren't painted in red, they were pink, there were no earrings but the necklace with the silver ring remained in her neck.
"And I suppose you 'helped her' because of your kind heart?" Pitch remarked his words very deeply. Lilith wasn't like the other creatures Man in the Moon keeps all around the world. This girl was different, a blaspheme everybody pointed in the distance while she kept working as Cupid's little sister, as the lust that comes with the love. "Well, duh. It's because she seem so nervous and anxious that it made me help her before yelling at her to stop making her own blurry in front of everybody." She explained but is sounded so sarcastic and careless that Pitch didn't buy it. Elsa making her own blurry? For her encounter with him as they promised?
"Lilith, why did you made Elsa do this? What is the point of keeping testing my temper with you?" Pitch had plenty experiences of her sick sense of humor, this wasn't the first time and surely it wouldn't be the last. He knew Lilith could play any game with him just see how far he could go to hurt her physically. The last time he almost tore one of her wings apart, she didn't cry at first, then didn't come back either, until now.
"Rebecca, my is Rebecca. Is that so hard to remember? I hate the name Man in the Moon gave me. I'm sick of it." She pointed, her face was red thanks to her position in the beam, but it didn't bother her. "I met Elsa in her kingdom, disguised as a florist." She began; Pitch rolled his eyes at her obsession with flowers, which never gets old. "Her blurry appeared and when she walked near me and my flowers they die because of the cold, it was like they were made of ice and that made angry. I talked to her about what was happening with her strange mood and she told me everything."
"Everything" Pitch question if Elsa could talk so freely with a spirit thinking she wasn't one.
"Well, I read between lines. Anyway, it took a while, like…my whole fuking evening to make her pull herself together and do what she did to you." She said angrily at him, showing some teeth and her ridiculously large fangs, like a vampire with those brown light eyes. He rolled his again, not impress at all by her blabber, she wasn't lying though. "Now thanks to you, all of my efforts with your Queen had fail. I was hoping she could tell you truth but I see it couldn't be either."
"What truth? Now what are talking about?"
"The truth, you know, the truth about why she never felt scared of you." She said. Pitch thought he stopped breathing for one second, and then he did it again, normally. "Yes, I know. She didn't tell me you don't have to worry. But something tells me that you are desperate to know the reason." She grinned at him, playfully, mocking. That was her private game while Pitch stilled himself like a statue and looking between her and the empty space.
As always, sorry for the grammar, I checked everything myself this time but still…sorry.
I hope you all get what happened at the end.
Lilith is my OC, she is Cupid's little sister and everybody knows she represents lust in the love, but they all get it wrong thanks to Cupid and Man in Moon. Her name is Rebecca, that's the name she put it to herself after becoming immortal. She was killed with her husband by a man, and she came back as immortal, just because Cupid fell in love with her. She killed the man as revenge. Man in the Moon told her not to but she didn't listened, she doesn't love Cupid back, she hates him and Man in the Moon for turned her into an immortal. Cupid convinced everyone she was his partner, lust that is beside the love, but she told them she was his little sister. Her real roll as Cupid's partner is to be the hate that becomes love after certain time and circumstances. Her only friend is the Tooth Fairy, she knows all of this and calls Rebecca only Becca.
