It's Fictober! Which means it's time to post a story a day. I am going a different route and posting one long story, 31 chapters of case fic. Hope you enjoy it! Halloween. A monster, a case, and a relationship that is slowly evolving.

Scully is anxious about dating again after returning from her abduction, so Mulder suggests they go out on a date together as a practice run. Mulder soon finds out that keeping it platonic is much harder than he WRITTEN WITH MONIKAFILEFAN

Set towards the end of season 8, Doggett catches Mulder and Scully indulging in a little afternoon delight. A Scully/Mulder shipper at heart, part of me would have liked to see Scully/Doggett happen, but since it didn't I have just as much fun imagining Doggett's torture.
