As the two men entered the camp, the first thing Rapunzel noticed was the large animal on Kristoff's shoulder. Her grin grew from ear to ear and Olaf dropped his home-made fishing pole to run over to them. The boy quickly stopped once he noticed the blood and foul smell, causing him to turn snow-white. Rapunzel only smiled and patted his back as he ran back over to the water of the lake.

Kristoff tossed the carcase onto the ground and quickly stripped his hoodie off that was covered in the blood of the animal. "Well, how about we have a good dinner tonight?" The smile on the blondes face was contagious as Rapunzel ran over to Eugene and kissed him quickly.

"How on earth did you manage to get this large deer?" Eugene just smiled and wiggled his eyebrows up at her. "I'm just that talented babe."

This made Kristoff laugh and he pointed behind him. "You caught the tree, remember, Merida got the deer." The foreign name caused Rapunzel to look up at the two boys with a raised eyebrow and cross her arms. "And who the hell is Merida?"

Eugene frowned and looked over to the tall blonde, who simply let out a sigh. "Merida and Aurora, we met them while out hunting. They were alone and didn't even have a camp." All the while Kristoff spoke, Rapunzel simply glared at him, not liking this story one bit.

"And where are these two ladies now?" her voice was laced with anger and Eugene could tell he was sleeping outside tonight. He pointed behind him at the gate they made into their small camp. "Merida! Aurora! You can come in now."

Rapunzel's eyes followed over to the movement and she slowly uncrossed her arms when she noticed the two women walking toward them. This also caught Olaf's attention and he ran back over to the group, quickly approching the women.

"Hello! I'm Olaf, I like warm hugs!" Aurora smiled at the boy and kneeled down to his level, placing her hand out to shake his. "Hello Olaf, My name is Aurora, its been so long since I have seen a child your age." Olaf looked at the womans hand and then back to her face, quickly leaning forward and wrapping his arms around her neck.

Everyone was paying attention to Olaf that they hadn't noticed the pale blonde woman walk up to them. "Who is this woman hugging my son?" Her voice was cold as she walked next to Rapunzel. "Olaf, come here."

The small boy did as he was told, letting go of Aurora and running over to Elsa, who quickly leaned down and picked him up. "Eugene, who are these people?" She looked at the brunette man who simply ran his hand through his hair and grunted.

"Okay, Rapunzel and Elsa" he pointed over to Merida and Aurora who where now both standing in front of the other two girls. "This red-head with the curls is Merida, she caught the deer we are all going to eat for dinner. And this is Aurora, she was traveling with Merida."

Kristoff smiled and looked over to red-head and blonde, "And the one with the kid is Elsa, and her son is Olaf. That is Rapunzel, she is Eugene's girlfriend." Aurora smiled at the three of them and extended a hand for them to shake, but let it fall when the two girls did nothing but look at her.

Elsa put Olaf down and kneeled next to him, pushing some of his hair to the side smiling at him. "Olaf, will you take Sven and Max over to the tent and give them some food, they are probably really hungry after that long hunt." The boy simply smiled and nodded, Elsa kissed his forehead and he took off, followed closely by the two dogs.

When Elsa stood back up, she went to open her mouth but was beat by the new red-head that was standing across from her. "Listen, we understand." Aurora looked over to her companion and tilted her head. She had everyone's attention seeing as she hadn't spoken a word yet.

"you don't trust us, we get it. We don't trust ye either, but it was mighty kind of ya to invite us to the camp." She pulled her hood down and Rapunzel as well as Elsa got a look at just how wild her hair really was.

Aurora smiled at Merida and then looked over to Rapunzel, who seemed to have the most issues with the two of them. She looked into the green eyes of the brunette and takes a step forward. "We promise, we will help around with food and cleaning. Merida here is a great shot."

Rapunzel looked over to Elsa and then to the two boys. She tried to think of any excuse for these two not to stay, but she couldn't. They had brought them food, and Aurora seemed like a complete sweet heart. Merida would be good to have around as well, she seems tough enough.

The brunette woman let out a sigh and then looked at the two women. "Okay, you can stay." Aurora's eyes widened and she grabbed Merida's arm in excitement, looking over to Kristoff who was smiling at her.

"However." This caused everyone's attention to go back to Rapunzel. "If you two do anything, and I mean anything, to make me or anyone else think you guys are going to hurt one of us." She looked over to Kristoff, then Eugene and Elsa before continuing. "you will be gone faster than a heart beat."

Merida nodded in agreement and Aurora almost jumped for joy, finally Rapunzel extended her arm and took the blondes hand, shaking it firmly. Then she did the same with the red-head, who had a firmer grip than Aurora.

Kristoff smiled and then stopped what he was doing. He looked around the group and then back to Elsa. "Where is Anna? Is she still sleeping?" A flash of hurt graced Elsa's face and she took a step back, grabbing her left arm with her right hand.

Kristoff knew something was up and grabbed Elsa, walking away from the group of people who were trying to get to know each other. Once they where by the lake, Kristoff let go and glared at Elsa. "Where is Anna?"

Elsa pointed to the woods and then let out a deep breath. "We had a fight, and she took off." Kristoff balled his fist together at his side and looked down at the pale blonde. "And you just let her go out into the woods alone?"

The pale skin of the woman turned a slight red with anger. She whipped her eyes up to the tall man and narrowed them. "I was going after her, When you two showed up with those strangers, I was loading my gun and packing a few things into my bag."

Kristoff started to walk towards his tent. "I'm going with you." He was stopped by a small hand grabbing his wrist. "Kristoff please, I need to look for her alone. We need to talk about some things and I would rather it just be the two of us."

The blonde male looked hurt for a moment and then pulled his wrist back, looking at Elsa. "Did you hurt her?" The question threw the blonde off guard and she raised her eyebrow at the man. "What!? No! I would never." Kristoff lifted his hand to stop her and looked to the ground.

"I have known Anna almost my whole life, we grew up together." His brown eyes came up to meet the deep blue ones. "When she falls for someone, she falls hard. Make sure you are there to catch her when she does." Elsa frowned and fingered the bottom of her shirt.

"You loved her? Didn't you?" Elsa wasn't sure why she asked the question, it was obvious since she met the two. Kristoff was easy to read, and it kind of hurt her to know that this man had loved her for so long, yet Anna easily chose the girl she just met.

Kristoff didn't need to answer, he simply pointed to the woods behind him and threw on a quick smile. "You better hurry, don't want to be out there looking for her in the dark do ya?" He tried to lighten the mood but it only hurt Elsa more to see him do that.

Elsa smiled and walked back over to her tent, grabbing the small bag she packed and then headed to Olaf. The boy looked at the bag and frowned, knowing his mother was going to leave yet again. "Mom?"

Elsa picked him up and hugged him, kissing the boys pale cheek before smiling at him. "Anna went for a walk by herself, I need to go find her and bring her back okay?" Olaf nodded but was still frowning, which broke Elsa's heart even more. "Hey, whats with the sad face little man?"

Olaf shrugged his shoulders and Elsa put him on the ground, she leaned on her knees so she was almost his height. "What if we get separated again, and I don't find you this time." Elsa frowned and placed her hand on her chest, not sure what to do. Then she felt the cool metal of the snowflake necklace Anna gave her.

She quickly unhooked it from the back and took it off, holding it out to Olaf. "See this necklace?" The young boy nodded. "Anna gave this to me when we first met back at the house, when she brought you back to me. Maybe if you hold onto it, it will bring me back to you." The boy smiled and took the small metal charm in his hand.

"So if I hold onto this snowflake, you will have to come back? Kind of like magic?" Elsa smiled and ran her fingers through the boy's hair. "Yes sweetie, like magic." She hugged the boy once more and kissed the top of his head before standing up. "I have to go get Anna now okay? I will be back soon, and don't lose the necklace or the magic won't work."

Olaf smiled and ran over to Eugene and Rapunzel, who were starting a fire and chopping up the meat from the deer Merida had caught. Kristoff was just getting done telling the two about how Elsa was going after Anna, and he looked up to see Elsa walking into the woods, the same direction Anna had left in.

oOoOoOoOoOo

Three crows flew past the young red-head as she sat on the tree branch of the large maple tree. She jumped from the quick motion and rubbed her blood-shot teal eyes. When Anna had left the camp, her only goal was to get as far away from Elsa as possible, but she soon realized that this whole thing was pointless.

Elsa's words bounced in her head over and over. "Your being over dramatic Anna!" She crossed her arms and let out a sigh. "Maybe I was, I didn't even let Elsa explain herself." The red-head looked around the woods from her high up perch in the tree and noticed something that caught her eye.

"How far did I walk." She squinted her eyes as she noticed the highway on the other side of the trees. "I wonder if the truck is still there." She whispered to herself as she started to climb down the branches.

Anna quietly walked through the tree's, avoiding any bitters that she didn't have to take out so that the noise wouldn't draw more in. Then she remembered the last time she was in these woods, and those strange zombies that could run quickly. "I don't know if I could handle running into those guys again." She whispered to herself and then silently cursed herself for not bringing Sven.

"What good would that do? you would just end up getting him hurt like you did Max." She frowned and made it to the edge of the highway. As if luck was on her side, she noticed a small red dot down the cement road.

She followed the road, careful not to attract any unwanted guest, and made it to the old red truck. Her slender arm reached out and opened up the driver side door as she quickly sat in the front seat, gripping the stirring wheel. "What was the point of this? There is no gas in the truck."

She leaned her head against her knuckles and then lets out an aggravated grunt, not caring if the biters hear her or not. "This was stupid, there is no need for me to be in this truck. It's useless to me. Why am I even out here." Then she frowned and leaned her head back, running her left hand through her bangs and gripping tightly.

"This is all Elsa's fault. If she didn't push me away like that, I wouldn't have had to run." Anna leaned back into the seat and smirked. "If Elsa would have just talked to me, instead of shutting me out, we could have worked it out." Just as she was about to close her eyes, something in the rear view mirror caught her attention.

Anna is about to reach for the gun at her side when she notices that the object is moving to fast to be a biter. Her heart sinks as she pictures a horde of those sprinters and she starts to panick. Once the object gets closer though, she calms down and raises her eyebrow. "A Car?"

The small black vehicle pulls up beside the truck and Anna lets out an awkward laugh because she isn't sure what to think now. Inside the car is Hank, the man who saved her life when she went to look for medical supplies.

Anna quickly gets out of the car and smiles at the man, waving her arm. He smiles and gets out as well, walking around the car to meet the red-head. "Well if it isn't my favorite little red-head." The tall man leaned against his car and looked Anna up and down. She didn't catch the small jester and simply smiled.

"What are you doing out here Hank?" she ask the only question that comes to mind and then laughs. "Well I guess you could ask me that too? Especially since I am just sitting in a car all alone with no gas." The male laughed and shook his head.

"In truth, I was hoping to find some people like you? trying to see if anyone else made it." Anna's lips formed a crooked smile and she looked down the highway from the way he came. "No one down that way?" Hans shook his head.

"What about you...Anna? right?" She smiled and nodded as he spoke, causing him to smirk. "How did things go with the medicine? Is everyone okay?" She thought back and it made her think of Elsa, which caused her to frown. Hans took this as a bad sign and raised his hand to touch her arm.

"I'm so sorry, did you need a ride?" Anna looked up confused and then shook her head quickly. "Oh no, everyone is fine, they all made it through." She smiled and then looked back at the truck, hitting it slightly. "I wouldn't need a ride if this thing didn't drink so much gas." She giggled and Hans looked at her with what could be mistaken as care.

He brought his hand back from her shoulder and walked to the back of the car, lifting the trunk and smiling. "Well then I guess its your lucky day, again." He smirked and pulled out a large gas can. "How about we get this truck moving again?"

"Oh no, I couldn't, that is for your car." Anna put her hands up in front of her to refuse the offer but Hans wasn't going to take no for an answer. He set the gas can on the ground and folded his arms. "Normally when people offer you free gas, you take it." he grinned and Anna let out a sigh.

"Okay, but only because you practically forced it on me." she laughed softly and opened the fuel door on the truck." As she did this, Hans got into his car and opened the glove box, pulling out a paper and a sharpie.

"Here." he unfolded the paper and it was a map of the area. "I picked this up at a truck stop a while back." As Anna filled the truck with the gas he had given her, Hans studied the map. "Here it is." The red-head looked up and tilted her head as the male circled an area on the map with the sharpie.

"This." He pointed to the circled area and smiled. "Is where my camp is set up." Anna then realized what he was doing and smiled at him. "And this." He circled another area and smiled, holding the map up to her. "is where we are right now."

Her teal eyes looked up at Hans as she grinned at him. "Why are you showing me this?" He lifted his hand and touched her jaw, running his thumb across her cheek. "Because Anna, in this twisted and cruel world, we all need someone who we can lean on." He handed her the map and looked down at the gas can. "its empty."

"What? oh!" Anna snaps out of her daze and takes the nozzle out of the truck, closing the fuel door and handing him back his gas can. Hans placed it back into the car and then closed the trunk. "If you ever feel the need to leave, or even if you want to bring your own group, follow that map."

The male smiled and got into his car, starting it up and putting it in drive. "You are always welcome to my camp Anna, and anyone you bring with you." Anna watched as he started to drive away, and she held onto the map tightly. Hans's car started to disappear from sight and Anna got back into the truck, starting it up and smiling.

She placed the map in the visor and smiled to herself as she put the truck into drive. "At least not I have a net to catch me if Elsa decides she wants to let me fall." Anna started to head down the highway, glancing up at the visor every few minutes.
