AN: You can tell my brain doesn't want to write fanfiction at the moment, but it also does at the same time… Hmmm… That's a problem, isn't it.
Seeking froze as his tail twitched in a seemingly random pattern. "What the…?" He wondered, confused at why his tail was moving on its own.
'Duck!' Scootaloo ordered, Seeking doing as he was told.
As soon as he hit the ground, a glowing silver animal of some kind shot past, right where his head had been in fact. It went straight to Dumbledore, who looked worried.
"Albus, we have a problem! Three children that left Hogwarts… Something's happened to them, we suspect a fourth is on the way but we have the first three on the way to Hogwarts. Make sure Potters there when we arrive." The animal said in a professional but worried voice, a male one that was deep… And with that, it faded into a silvery mist.
"W-What was that?" Seeking asked confused.
"That my boy, was a Patronus. A way of defence against Dementors, dark creatures, and sending messages." Dumbledore explained to him, a worried look on his face. "Now then, whoever was affected by whatever has happened shall be here in a few minutes." He told the Colt, as they left the Great Hall, watching as a group of Witches and Wizards carrying three strangely shaped figures entered the School.
"Dumbledore." One man said, he had dark skin and was bald, towering over Seeking's small body, which admittedly wasn't difficult.
"Auror Shacklebolt, may I see the students?" Dumbledore requested, being polite but clearly worried.
As soon as he said it, the group split apart, the figures placed on the ground…
Seeking gasped as he and Scootaloo found that they weren't the only ponies now.
The first one was a girl, with a mane that was curled at the ends and a dark, almost black, violet colour… Her coat was an orangey colour. She didn't have any wings, but she did have a small horn on her head, on her flank was a cutie mark, it looked like a book with a magnifying glass laying on top of it…
The next one was a boy, a slightly slicked back mane that was mostly grey, with a few thick streaks of platinum… His coat was a very light cyan colour, and he hadn't wings nor horn, which was odd… On his flank was another cutie mark, which seemed to be a locket of some kind, with a mirror hidden almost completely behind it…
The last one was another boy, with a brown and tangled mane that got trapped in itself. His coat was light grey, but practically white, he also lacked wings or a horn… On his flank was a cannon that was surrounded by flames, the cannon resembling a rook on a chess board…
Seeking stared in shock, wondering who they were.
As if summoned, the girl opened her eyes, revealing brown eyes that were full of confusion. She looked around, recognising the area as Hogwarts… "What… What happened…?" She questioned, before hearing her voice. "Is that my voice?" She asked confused, her voice squeaky.
Dumbledore gave a slight cough, getting her attention.
"Professor Dumbledore? Why are you so tall…?" She questioned, realising she was being rude but too confused and disoriented to care.
"Well, if you could please enlighten us to who you are first? It appears you have become a pony, similar to Mr Storm here." Dumbledore requested, gesturing to Seeking.
"Harry? Why are you called that now?" The filly asked, confused. "A-And it's me! Hermione Granger!" She revealed, shocking Seeking even more.
"Miss Granger? Odd, for young Seeking Storm he resembled his original appearance… But you only have your eyes…" Dumbledore mused.
"Hermione?" Seeking asked, getting her attention, before the words from earlier set into the filly, causing her to look at her body, finding she was in fact, a pony.
"H-Harry? What's going on? Why are you called Storm? Why am I a pony?!" She asked in a panic.
"Long story. It involves magical ponies, and I don't know why you're a pony." Seeking said quickly, trying to get her to calm down.
'You know… She has the same coat as me.' Scoots noted.
Hermione took a deep breathe, before sitting down, looking very adorable as she did so.
Seeking sat as well, trying to help her.
Taking a look around, Hermione noticed the other two colts. "Who are they?" Hermione asked, worried.
"We don't know yet… They haven't woken up yet." Seeking revealed, the Element of Loyalty warm against his coat for some reason.
"Why are you wearing a… Necklace?" Hermione asked, noticing it.
"That is connected to the magical ponies." Seeking told her.
After Hermione had calmed down properly, they waited for the next one to wake up, hoping it would be soon…
Hours later…
Hermione had gotten the hang of moving around faster than Seeking had, and was now exploring the castle, unable to go to the library as she didn't have fingers…
After a while, she sighed, completely bored… Not looking where she was going, she found herself in an unfamiliar corridor, facing a statue with a bored look on its face.
"You have located me, in order to pass, you must make me laugh." The statue said, scaring Hermione.
"I… Have to make you laugh?" She repeated, confused.
"Yes. If you want to pass, make me laugh." The statue told her.
Hermione though frantically, trying to think of any jokes she knew…
"Why did the chicken cross the road?" She asked, but it wasn't her, it was someone else making her say it.
The statue seemed to sigh. "Why?" It asked.
"To get to the idiot's house!" She finished, but only got a dull look from the statue. "Knock knock!" She said suddenly, surprising the statue.
"Who's there?" It asked curiously.
"The chicken!" She responded, giggling a little.
The statue let out a deep rumbling laugh of amusement, before it started to glow, shrinking and twisting into a small necklace, with a blue gem embedded in it, in the shape of the cutie mark on her flank… "You have passed the test, and earned your prize. Take it, and learn your name." The statues voice said, coming from the necklace.
Hermione found herself controlling her body again, and picked up the necklace with her hoof, causing it to appear around her neck… Hermione blinked as a word appeared in her mind… Memoir… That was her name. Her name was Memoir. She was Hermione Granger, she was Memoir, she was Sweetie Belle and she was the Element of Laughter!
