Author's Notes: Tenth Doctor. Set after 'New Earth' but before 'Age Of Steel'

"365." Jackie Tyler said proudly, looking around her flat.
The door opened and Rose stepped inside, followed closely by the Doctor.
She greeted them, slightly disappointed, and invited them in to tea.
"Thanks, no, we're just passing through," The Doctor said, "On our way to save the world." He glanced around, plucked an apple off the shelf beside him, shined it on his jacket and began to eat it. He tossed it from hand to hand. "Not as good as banana, but good enough. See you, Jackie."
As soon as he was gone, Jackie sighed.
"Well, it was worth a shot."
