I needed to make this final so I went down stairs got the outdated phone in my hands and called the hospital in Port Angeles. There was no way that I would let anyone in this small town see me in the fertility clinic. I was scheduled for tomorrow (Sunday) at 11 am. After I hung the phone up, I felt my stomach churn and ran upstairs with my hand over my mouth to the bathroom and emptied the contents in my stomach into the toilet for the hundredth time. Charlie was starting to get suspicious because I'm pretty sure you can't have 24 hour flu for 3 months. After my vomiting I decided to take a shower and get ready for my shift at Newton's sports good store. I began to take off my shirt and looked at my stomach in the mirror and found a small but definite bump in my lower abdomen. My hand immediately fluttered to it. There was a human being growing inside their and will one day accomplish great things I thought. I continued to take off my clothes and enter the shower. The warm water felt good and relieved all my emotions of fear, happiness, and unknowing.

My shift went by slowly because only one customer came and only purchased extra bait for his fishing trip that day so I took out Wuthering Heights to read my favorite part. As I was just finishing the chapter I heard a bell ring signifying someone was entering the store. I looked up from my book and I saw Jacob with his sweet grin that I always loved.

"Hey Jake, what are you doing here?" I asked getting up from the stool.

"I came here to surprise you," he spoke confidently as he walked over to the register.

He leaned in as did I to close the space. Our lips connected perfectly as if we were two puzzle pieces. I grabbed the collar of his shirt to bring him closer to me but Mrs. Newton came out of the back and made a fake cough to interrupt us. I turned around to see Mrs. Newton having her arms crossed.

"Sorry it won't happen again," I promised Mrs. Newton as my face turned various shades of crimson.

"Ok I trust you," Mrs. Newton replied smiling. She had always a soft spot for me.

Mrs. Newton returned to the back with a handful of papers to check the inventory.

"I love it when you blush," Jacob smiled.

"Are you coming over tonight," I asked him sitting back down on my stool.

"If I have time it's my shift again tonight so probably really late though is that ok?" he asked sheepishly.

"Yeah but I might be asleep I have a doctor's appointment at 11 in Port Angeles," I spoke not thinking.

"Why go to Port Angeles? There's a clinic here, are you sick?" Jacob questioned.

Why did I just blurt that out? I didn't want to tell him just yet, he's been so stressed with the pack and all I didn't want to add to his stress.

"Umm I don't know the nurse just scheduled me to the hospital in Port Angeles, but don't worry it's just a check up," I lied.

Jake seemed to believe me so he asked, "I can come with you if you want."

"No!" I answered a little quickly and loudly. Jacob had a confused look on his face, a mixture of hurt and confusion.

"I mean I don't want you to go through that trouble, Jake I think I can handle a little check up by myself," I clarified. Jacob's confused look turned into a huge smile which made me smirk.

"So what time do you get off?" He asked.

"Umm, well now," I said looking at the clock on the wall.

"Do you want me to drive you home?" Jake asked.

"Sure thanks Jake let me just tell Mrs. Newton and we can go," I explained. He agreed and I went to the back and told Mrs. Newton I was leaving.

"Ok see you on Monday," replied with a wave.

I walked out of the back while grabbing my coat. Jacob put his arm around my waist. Well, more of my upper back because he was so tall. We walked outside to my '65 Chevy. Jake held the passenger door open while I climbed in. He shut the door closed and particles of rust flew everywhere. Jake ran to the other side of the truck and also went inside.

"Bella I want to tell you something that I've wanted to tell you since last year, I just didn't want to tell you because you were still with him," Jacob confessed.

"Jake it's ok just telling me," I reassured him. The thought of Edward made my heart hurt a little but it I could just it brush off and forget about him.

"Bella," he took a deep breath, "I've imprinted on you, and not just recently, ever since you came to Forks and got your truck."

I was speechless I processed the shocking information before I spoke.

" Jake I've always love you," I finally spoke.

I large smile spread across his face. He inched in closer to me until our lips touched. My heart beat a hundred times a second as our kiss deepened. This kiss was more passionate than the others, more warm and inviting. His tongue traced my bottom lip asking for entrance. I slowly parted my lips and he entered his tongue into my mouth. We explored each other's mouths and fighting for dominance still very lovingly and passionate. He moved his hands to my face and caressed it gently. I also moved my hands and placed it in his hair. I felt a smile form on his face. We finally parted almost out of breath.

"I love you so much Jake," I whispered as our lips parted.

"I love you too Bella," He chuckled," I think I need to get you home."

I nodded in agreement and he drove me home the whole time holding hands. We were about half way there when my mind wondered to this morning when I took the test. Worry swept me again but I knew everything would be ok as long as I had Jacob.
