Charlie came home at exactly 7 with a pizza just like he promised. I ate a small slice of pizza not wanting to upset my stomach again.

"Hey Charlie, is it ok if I go to Emily's with Jake tonight?" I asked Charlie finishing up my slice.

"If you want, but are you sure you're well enough to go?" Charlie asked concerned.

"Yeah, I think I was just a little overwhelmed by school," I badly lied, but Charlie believed me.

"K Bells What time is you going?" He asked absentmindedly.

"Jake's picking me up at 8," I responded.

Charlie paused for a few moments, "You're spending a lot of time with Jake now huh."

"Well yeah, Jake and I are together now," I answered shyly,

"Well… that's great, that's really something," Charlie smiled scratching his head.

"Yeah," I replied. It was always awkward talking to Charlie with this kind of stuff.

Just as I sat down, I heard a rap at the door. Knowing it was Jacob, I waved bye to Charlie before I opened the door. There Jacob stood with an irresistible smile. I stepped out and Jake waved at Charlie through the door.

"Well, Charlie knows about our relationship now," I told Jacob exhaling.

"Did he take it well?" Jacob asked.

"Yeah pretty well, but I wonder what's going to happen when we tell him about this," I said pointing to my stomach.

"Don't worry I'll be here with you every step of the way," Jake guaranteed as he opened the passenger door of his Rabbit for me. He made me hold his hand while I got in his car as if I was 8 months pregnant. After he closed the passenger door, he went around the front if the car to get in the driver's seat. When he got in he saw that I was nervous.

"Hey, Bella it's ok. No matter what happens, we got each other right?" Jacob said holding my hand. I nodded in agreement. Jake started the car and we went over to Emily's in relaxed silence.

When we pulled up to Emily's house Jake was at my door before I could take my seat belt off. He opened the door for me. I got out again holding his hand, still almost falling on my face. When I was stable on my two feet I pulled closer to him to hold a intimate kiss for only a few moments before we parted again.

"You ready," He asked smiling.

"Not really, but I'm ready to get it over with," I shrugged. We clasped our hands together while we walked up to the front door and made a beat on it. The door flew open almost immediately and we were welcomed with a warming smile from Emily.

"Hey, you two, you're just in time the food just finished cooking!"She cheerfully told us stepping aside to let us in.

The room was filled with buzzing chatter and happiness. I could identify most of the people there such as the whole pack was there, as also Billy, but there were also people I didn't know. Jacob helped me identify them as relatives from his dad's side of the family and friends of either Sam or Emily. Everyone was really sweet to me, but I was getting nervous because I was going to have to tell at least 10 people I don't even know something so personal. But in less than 3 months everyone would know so it would be better sooner or later, kind of like ripping off a Band-Aid.

We had been there for about an hour just mingling with all the folks when Jake reached for my hand, gave me a supportive look, and faced everyone. He took his glass cup and a fork together to make a loud enough sound for people to hear and turn to us. My face felt hot and I could feel sweat building in my palms.

"Bella and I have an announcement to make," Jake spoke making sure everyone heard.

Everyone had stopped what they were doing now and had their full attention on what we were going to say. I opened my mouth to speak but I couldn't find my voice. Once Jacob realized this he continued to finish off the announcement.

"Though we didn't expect this and it will change our lives and people in it we know we'll know we'll make it through. Bella found out she is pregnant a few days ago," Jake said perfectly, as almost he had been rehearsing it.

After Jake confessed everyone was quiet. With more than 20 people crammed in a small room, everyone was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. To make matters worse the air was stagnant which made me feel light headed but Jacob's comforting arm around my waist made me stay conscious. Of all people Embry was the first to speak.

"How far along are you?"Embry asked.

After that everyone burst into laughter. He wasn't the type of person who would ask a question like that.

"A little over 3 months," Jake laughed.

After that everyone went back to their own thing but a few people went up to me and asked questions and congratulated me and things like that. Soon enough it was 10 and Jake and I decided to go back home because we had school tomorrow. We said goodbye to everyone and headed out the door.

~in the car~

"They took that better than I thought they would, like a whole world better," I said happily.

"Me too," Jake responded with a smile.

"Are you going to stay over tonight?" I asked him with hopeful eyes.

"Of course," Jake responded with a smile.

"Ok I'll see you in a little bit I guess," I said as he pulled up to my house.

We lessened our space between each other with a forceful kiss. He entered his tongue into my mouth and I moaned from contact. I played in his hair until I realized that I was about to pass out from lack of air. I pulled away and whispered to him. "See you in a few, "and then left his Rabbit and walked up to my door.

"Hey how was it?" Charlie asked from the living room.

"Better than I expected, I'm pretty tired, I think I'm going to go to bed," I told Charlie as I ran up the stairs.

I closed the door to my room, opened my window, and waited for Jake to come. I decided to change into my pajamas while waiting and just as I came back to the bathroom Jake was sitting on my bed with a sly smile on his face.

"What?" I asked crossing my arms with a slight smile.

"Nothing, it's just that you are to most beautiful woman in the world, and you're carrying my child," Jake said getting up and gave me a peck on the cheek.

"Nice try, you're not getting any tonight," I laughed," I'm too tired."

"That's ok, I'm fine just doing this," He said placing soft kisses on my collarbone.

"ok fine only tonight though," I smiled lead him to my bed," But only because that just turned me on."
