Chapter Two
Hope and Doubt
I stumbled blindly towards the phone, fumbling for the 9, and then two ones. Tears fogged my sight, good tears. Normal tears that didn't kill my loved ones. "Oh my gosh! What have i done! What have i done?" Punching the phone with my fist, i began to wail like a child. " Qu he hecho? What have i done, i exclaimed once again.
"esto es polic a, cu l es su emergencia?" This is the police, what is your emergency?, asked a man on the other line. "He hecho muchas cosas horribles! Quiero entregarme!"
"Por favor, d game su ubicaci n." He asked me my location, and i told him.
As i put the phone back, i noticed that there was a red dot floating through the air, hitting the building walls.
"No! A gun! The dot!" I tried to dodge the floating red dot, and suddenly, a numbing electric wave entered my body. I exclaimed in pain, and dropped to the ground in a spasm of electric attacks. "Aaag!" I cried, feeling conciousness slip away from me!
A group of snipers pointed their guns as they approached me. I tried to trigger the tears. Finding the anger and remorse i've felt so much in this past week, i tried to put it out through tears. "My powers!" The shock made them freeze momentarily. I'm trapped.
Like an animal.
Like a freak.
Like a murderer.
