your smile shines upon my heart like a burst of light across the dark expanse of the sky,
the light brightens everything it touches like the spark I see in your eyes,
I would wish for eternal silence if only to hear your voice speak to me again,
I am lost in your presence and never want to be found ,
stay and be my beacon of light and hope,
my world would darken and fade without your sunlight,
I need you here with me.
the stars envy her,
the sunlight pales in brightness,
my angel of love.
heart beat quickens now,
words drowned by fear and longing,
so I just smile.
Like the glass that is now in pieces on the ground,
so is my heart .
the light reflects upon the shards as does the hope in my now broken heart,
the glass is a shadow of what it once was,
as there are dark shadows across my soul,
the glass lays forgotten on the ground waiting for someone to clean it up,
my heart lies forgotten until the day that you will come and clean me up.
