Danny awakens with a start. He looked around his room, wondering where that gigantic boom came from. As he sits up, he gropes his pillow, trying to get a feel of his surroundings. Danny then shudders as his familiar blue breath seeps out of his mouth, lighting the darkness. He quickly throws his blankets off of him, the familiar halos running up and down his body. Where Danny Fenton stood in his boxers, Danny Phantom stood in his costume. Danny thanked a higher power that his parents and Dani were on vacation and Jasmine was away at college. Danny said to himself, "Looks like a ghost escaped again. But why is it still in my house?" Danny became intangible and sunk through his bedroom floor.
Bart stirred awake, feeling the cold tile floor beneath him. He shuddered as he saw his breath. "I guess its colder than I thought down here." Bart grabbed a shelf and pulled himself up, gasping as he saw his reflection in the mirror above the shelf. His blue shoes were white. His shorts were black and his short was white. Also, his Bartman cowl was night black, showing Bart's glowing green pupils. Bart yelled, "What the hell man?" He then dropped to the ground as a sharp pain collided into his back, sending him into unconsciousness.
Danny's eyes narrowed after the ghost dropped to the ground. "That ghost was way too weak for my liking. And I've never heard of a ghost worrying about their appearance." Danny then yelled in surprise as blue, spiked rings traveled up and down the ghost's body, revealing a boy who looked about ten years old. Danny ran to the boy's side. He pulled up the boy's shirt, revealing a small scorch mark from Danny's blast. Danny kept smacking the boy, yelling at him to wake up.
