In Too Deep
A Dive story
I didn't want to be here. But I had to. The flight from Little Rock, Arkansas was long and gruelling. When it ended, it was dusk. My butt hurt like crazy. If it wasn't for stupid Carson putting drugs in my locker, I wouldn't be here. My next felony when I got back would be murder. Cause I'd kill him.
-The next Day-
Kaz stood still. The new girl looked like a punk version of June Cleaver. The blue streaks made him think she was rebelling against something. However when he asked her, she simply replied
"My stink' life!" He didn't ask Rebel Girl anymore questions that day. But asked the people who would know. Marina explained briefly,
"She a criminal record the size of Clarence, Kaz." He also found out her name was Max D'Amico. She was his age, but acted more mature than most 14 yr. old girls. She'd been through a lot too. A house fire had recently stolen her parent's away from her. Most of her felonies came after the fire. The Felony in possession of drugs made Kaz wonder how she spoke to him. Then he remembered it was in possession not under the influence. He found Max sitting on the dock, feet in the water.
"Hi. My name's Kaz. What's yours?" He tried to make conversation.
"I'm Max. Max D'Amico." She spoke softly to him. He smiled ay her. She got butterflies. He's so cute! she thought. There was an aura about him. He did the impossible in 5 minutes. Gained her trust.
"Being alone like that must suck."
"I been treated like dirt before, love is "evol" spell it backwards I'll show you. Nobody knows me I'm cold walk down this road all alone It's no one's fault but my own It's the path I've chosen to go frozen as snow I show no emotion whatsoever. I've tried in this department but I ain't had no luck with this It sucks but it's exactly what I thought it would be Like trying to start over. I do whatever it takes. I ain't on no conquest for no other half. I wasn't looking but I stumbled onto you must've been fate. " she sighed.
