Have You Ever Seen The Rain
He had felt off for over a week now, successfully hiding his worsening flu from Sam but with everything on their plate these last few months it hadn't been so hard to push past body limitations with sheer determination and will.
Dean leaned back against the tiled wall of yet another crappy motel bathroom, shivering with cold. His stomach was still doing flip-flops even with nothing left to come up.
He closed his eyes, exhausted. Sleep sounded like a good idea, but wasn't an option anytime soon. Not while they finally had a new lead on Dick Roman, the Leviathans.
"Dean?" a soft knock on the door. "Dean?" more concerned now.
Dean wanted to answer, wanted to sooth the worried tone in Sam's voice but all he could do was awkwardly breathe through his mouth, fighting off another wave of nausea.
"Okay, I'm coming in."
He more felt than heard Sam crouching next to him, his brother's cool hand suddenly resting on his forehead.
"… off me," The world tilted for a second as he moved his head too quickly, he squeezed his eyes shut tight.
"You're burning up."
" 'm fine." It sounded weak even in Dean's own ears.

Thank you all so much for reading! And reviews feed the muse! Just saying! ;)
