Here's my second chapter... Enjoy!
Apples
After what seemed like a century of waiting, Kairi made it to the end of the line, gratefully accepting her food and hurrying towards a table. She kept her tray carefully balanced, not letting anything drop.
"Hey Kairi!" Sora barreled towards his friend at an alarming rate, eventually smashing into her. The apple on the edge of her tray wobbled and fell, in a perfect arc, towards the ground.
Kairi opened her mouth, ready to berate Sora for making her lose her favorite fruit, but stopped when she saw someone else. Aqua stood up from the ground after her brilliant save and gently replaced the apple in its proper place. "Need this?" she asked.
Kairi closed her mouth, stared at the apple, and finally smiled. "Well, yeah, it's my favorite!" she giggled.
Aqua stared in surprise, then laughed. "Mine too!"
