A/N: A poem I wrote for English. I hope it proves useful to you and those around you.

You must never ever show them

the colors red and black,

You must never ever tell them,

"The Thenardiers are back!"

Don't groan when they start playing

the CD for the twelfth time,

and please don't slyly mention

that the words don't always rhyme.

You must not ever question

that red vest they always wear.

You must not think that they're insane

when they tell you, "It's JAVERRRRRRT!"

If you care for your own safety,

when they shout, "VIVE LA FRANCE!"

You won't say, "At the barricade,

you haven't got a chance."

You must not take them stargazing,

and, please please please please PLEASE,

don't ask if they can list the names

of all of the Amis.

"Well, there's Courfeyrac and Enjolras,

(we can't forget Grantaire!)

Bahorel, Joly, Bossuet—"

"Wait, I don't really care!"

You must not ask why they must weep

whenever it starts to rain,

You must not ask why Russell Crowe

just makes them wince in pain.

You must never stare at them

when they matter-of-factly say,

"Monopoly is just a game

for rich young boys to play."

You must not feel incredulous

when they say "You royalist pig!"

or when instead of going to the bank

they simply start to dig.

You must always remember

it's not their fault they're obsessed.

It isn't their fault that they know

Les Miz is just the best!
