Kyoya, Sandra and Benkei ran as fast as they could toward where the two prides were fighting. It had started raining and they were all drenched by now. Kyoya hoped they weren't too late, considering how angry his mother was earlier. She'll kill any lion if she gets the chance! We've got to stop her!

The three stopped at one side of a gorge and stared at the other side in horror. The fight had already begun and everyone was fighting on the other side of the gorge! Kyoya exchanged a horrified glace with Sandra before they dashed off. "Benkei! Meet us over there in a little while!" Kyoya ordered as they ran off. They made their way quickly but carefully down the gorge to a log bridge. The raging river almost knocked Kyoya off of the logs when they shifted but he clung on with his claws and followed Sandra to the other side where they climbed to the top of the gorge and ran straight toward the two prides. They had all stopped fighting now and were watching at Simba and Zira circled each other in the center of all the lions and lionesses. Suddenly, Simba and Zira both reared up in their hind legs and raised a paw with unsheathed claws. They each glared at each other, but before they could strike down, Sandra and Kyoya leaped in between them, lightning flashing and thunder crashing as they landed in front of the two. Kyoya glared at his mother and Sandra glared at her father.

"Sandra?" Simba gasped.

"Kyoya!" Zira snapped. "Move!"

"Stand aside," Simba ordered, his gaze stern.

Sandra didn't budge. "Daddy, this has to stop." Simba blinked.

"You're even weaker than I thought!" Zira growled, trying to intimidate Kyoya. "Get out of the way!"

"You'll never hurt Sandra, or Simba! Not while I'm here!" Kyoya growled, baring his teeth. Zira gasped with shock and surprise, as if she couldn't believe that he was defying her.

"Stay out of this!" Simba tried once again to get Sandra to move.

"A wise king once told me, we are one," Sandra began as she stepped closer to her father. "I didn't understand him then. Now I do."

"But, they..." Simba began to protest.

"Them, us!" Sandra cut him off. "Look at them. They are us. What differences do you see?"

Simba glanced around at the Outsiders. Hikaru blinked and lifted her head, her cold gaze gone. Everyone was silent at the rain stopped and sunlight peeked through the clouds. Simba looked at Sandra, who smiled at him, before looking up at the sky. He smiled an nuzzled his daughter, realizing she was right.

"Hikaru, now!" Zira ordered.

"No, mother," Hikaru refused. She looked at Kyoya and Sandra before looking back at Zira. "Sandra's right." Hikaru went up and stood beside Kyoya. "Enough."

The other Outsiders began to glance at each other, as if they were wondering what they should do. The answer's obvious! Refuse to fight! Don't follow Zira anymore!

"They're right," Benkei said as he came up and stood beside Hikaru. "I almost died because of this feud. Enough is enough. We need to put this behind us and move on."

"If you will not fight, then you will die as well!" Zira growled, glaring at Hikaru and Benkei. The Outsiders glanced at each other before padding over to stand with the Pridelanders. Zira glanced around wildly. "What? Where? Where are you going? Get back here!" But nobody listened to her.

"Let it go, Zira. It's time to put the past behind us," Simba said.

"I'll never let it go!" Zira snapped. Kyoya narrowed his eyes. He heard the logs that held millions of gallons of water shift in the gorge but he ignored it, keeping his eyes fixed on Zira. "This is for you, Scar!" Zira murmured so quietly that Kyoya barely caught it. Suddenly, she leaped directly at Simba, who had been distracted by the noise.

"No!" Kyoya roared, leaping in the way and batting Zira to the ground. Everyone gasped with surprise. Zira got up and glared at Kyoya.

"I'm going to make you wish you were never born!" she growled, attacking Kyoya again. Kyoya ducked underneath her outstretched paws and sunk his teeth into her shoulder. He wasn't going to try and kill her. He just needed to scare her off. But Zira had other plans. She ripped her shoulder out of his jaws as if she never even felt it. She then charged in quickly and batted Kyoya away with her paw, hitting him square in the cheek. Kyoya stumbled on the ground, shaking his head to get rid of the dazed feeling. By the time it was gone he saw Zira leap at him to finish him off. His eyes widened and he tensed up. He didn't have time to move!

Suddenly Sandra leaped forward and intercepted Zira. The two lionesses went tumbling over the edge of the gorge growling at each other. Kyoya's eyes widened in fear and he quickly got up and ran to the edge of the gorge with everybody else. "Sandra!" he exclaimed.

Simba leaped off the top of the gorge to everyone's surprise, making his way down to Sandra. "Sandra!" he shouted as he went. Kyoya tried to locate her and gasped when he saw her clinging on to the edge of a ledge. Please don't let her fall!

"Hold on, Sandra!" Nala shouted. She then saw the logs give way to the raging river water. "Simba...Simba the river!"

Kyoya gazed on in fear. Please! Please let Sandra and Simba be alright!

Sandra's POV

Sandra pulled herself up onto the ledge and looked down at Zira, who was gazing at the raging river with fear in her eyes. Sandra reached her paw down. "Zira! Give me your paw!"

Zira growled and swiped at her, but that just made her slip a little more than she already was. Sandra tried again. "Zira! Come on! I'll help you!"

Zira gasped and tried to grab Sandra's paw but it was too late. Sandra watched in horror as Zira fell into the raging water, never to be seen again. Sandra sighed.

"Sandra," Sandra looked up to see Simba holding out his paw.

"Daddy," Sandra rasped as she took his paw. "I tried." Simba just smiled at her as they made their way to the top of the gorge.

"Oh Sandra!" Nala nuzzled her daughter.

Everyone began to crowd around. Sandra found Kyoya coming toward her and she went up to him. "Kyoya," she breathed.

"Oh Sandra!" Kyoya nuzzled her, sounding relieved.

"Kyoya?" Simba said, making Kyoya looked up. He went up to Simba. "I was wrong. You belong here."

Kyoya smiled and so did Sandra. She went up beside Kyoya and nuzzled him.

"Sandra?" Sandra and Kyoya turned to see Alex and everybody else walking up to them. "We're sorry too. We should have believed you."

Sandra smiled. "It's ok. I forgive you."

Gingka blinked sadly and looked away. Sandra looked at Kyoya before going up to Gingka. "Gingka, I'm sorry. But I love Kyoya. I see you as a really good friend and I hope you can come to accept that."

Gingka looked up and smiled at her. "I guess I'll just have to try."

"Thank you," Sandra said.

"Let's go home," Simba said. He then turned and looked at all the other Outsiders. "All of us."

With that, the two united Prides headed back to Pride Rock and sat in a circle. Sandra and Kyoya stayed out of the circle for awhile until Rafiki shook his staff overtop of them, declaring them official mates and next in line for King and Queen of Pride Rock. They then joined the circle, sitting in between Simba and Nala, and Alex and Tsubasa. Simba then nodded to them before he and Nala padded through the middle of the circle. The rest of the Pride bowed their heads in respect as they walked by. Sandra and Kyoya followed. The four made their way up to the top of Pride Rock where Simba let out a mighty roar before looking at Kyoya. Kyoya roared too, smiling at Simba. The four of them then all roared together. The Pride below roared with acceptance. The animals of the Pridelands joined in the celebration as they let out one final and powerful roar. Sandra nuzzled Kyoya, who smiled at her. The fighting had finally stopped, and peace had finally come.
