Last time on First Guardians:

Nightmara & Pitch Black: Nightmara clenched her together as she saw the guardians surround her and the new Jack Frost as she watched from the window. She turned her back and started to walk out of the girls room. Obviously the girl wasn't who she thought she was, but if not why were the guardians here? Probably to stop her, but to their obvious bad luck she would already be gone before they even know it.

"Come Pitch we must make haste before those fools come looking for us."

"But what about the girl?"

Nightmara paused for a minute before she started up again. Saying something even Pitch didn't get.

"She'll be with us soon enough."

Jack and Friends: "Because she is the first guardian snowflake! The shelia might be in danger."

"Wait! Why do we have to defend her? Doesn't she have some awesome powers, you guys are making her out to be?"

Bunny sighed and rolled his eyes while Tooth put a hand on his shoulder when North started to explain, since Jack couldn't understand Sandy's symbols.

"Jack listen, she maybe the very first guardian, but vhe last time we've seen her was couple years ago. She voke earlier than expected, but with little time she had we figured ve give her a taste of normal life as a normal teenager for all she has done for us. 'Vill now, we've never thought about making her gain her memories so fast and so vuickly to."

"To make it simple for ya Mate. She has no memories about us or what she use to do."

"She's also powerless Jack. And with Pitch re-awaking the first Nightmare guardian, Nightmara, she stands no chance against them."

Unnamed Girl (I soo wanted to put her name in her, bit I didn't. I'm that lazy.): As I felt the attack hit the book all it did was throw me off the couch and into the floor with a very loud thud. I gasped as I took the impact from the fall and I blinked thanking god that it slice through the book.

Wait. The attack...Didn't slice the book...In half?

I felt a finger run down my spine. I turned around to a see a beautiful girl with pure silver eyes looking at me with such a playful deadly look, that I don't think is a good sign either. She smiled at me when she put her open palm against my stomach and I started to shake.

'Blood? Is that mine or is it hers?'

The more I looked the more blood I saw and I looked at my arms to see them covered in deep cuts and blood. I finally got to my knees and saw a little bit of blood in my midsection. I knew the attack left me bleeding and I probably get over it, but with what I'm seeing I'm surprised I'm even on my knees. I looked to my left to see I was still holding onto the book.

"Jack Frost."

It's been one hundred years since the first Jack Frost came to be. She has seen her family grow and die all in one lifetime. She mourned of the loss of her family and the loss of having her third child. She lost the child when she fell into the river and was cut by a sharp rock on abdomen She didn't take the loss of her child very well, but with time came with healing all sorts of wounds. When she first became Jack Frost she noticed the wound she had earlier was now just a scar covering her abdomen and stomach. Then the moon spoke to her.

Now we take a look at the young Jack Frost as we witness her in a fight with the first darkness called Nightmara.

"What's the matter Frosty? Had enough?"

Nightmara asked her opponent, Jack Frost, as they fought. Nightmara has shoulder length hair that was dark as the night and was wearing a long black robe that went all the way down to the ground with black fur all around it. She was also wearing what seemed like black slacks with knee high boots.

"I told you my name is Winter! Not Frosty!"

Winter glared at her opponent while trying to think of a way to get her to back off. Winter had long silver moonlight hair that went all the to her knees if not kept in braid. She was wearing a long thin light blue dress that seemed to be made from the sky and snow itself. With every step she took it seemed glitter with her. Of course like the winter spirit she was, she wasn't wearing any foot wear. She was clutching her staff harder than before as glanced at the moon to see if he was going to be any help tonight.

Nothing happened.

What a surprise! Looks like no Manny help tonight guess she's going to have to tough it out if she wants to teach Nightmara a lesson.

"Getting tired Snowy?"

Winter sighed and looked at Nightmara.

"Not really. What about you Vampy, are you getting tired?"

Nightmara scoffed at the nickname and made sure Winter heard it.

"Vampy? Really? Is that all you got Frosty? And no, not really- to answer your question."

Winter rolled her blue eyes and aimed her iced staff towards Nightmara and shoot blue lighting towards her. Nightmara easily dodged it and summoned up a shadow snake and unleashed it at Winter. Winter was dodging at as easily as catching fish in the river.

Winter dodged it a few times, but it managed to land very powerful attacks on her.

"I'm impressed. You have manage to last this long with out any help from the other guardians."

Winter raised a silver eyebrow to her statement.

"Other guardians? What do you mean Nightmara?"

"I'm saying that there are others beside yourself. I guess Manny didn't tell you that did he? Well, just to let you know, they've also been fighting me, but no such as landing a single hit. Not like you. You manage to attack me and dodge my attacks."

Winter managed to destroy the shadow and sent fury of frost towards her. Nightmara blocked the attack and sent one right back towards her. Winter dodged it again, but this time she disappeared with snow swirling a little bit from the disturbance and Nightmara was looking around.

"So you're going to hide from me is that it?"

When she didn't get an answer from Winter. She started to walk away from the battlefield with one last remark.

"No matter how much you run, I'll find you like I did today."

As she disappeared from Winter's sight blue eyes looked towards the moon and spoke softly with a little bit of annoyance in it.

"Start explaining Manny."

Four of the guardians were outside the infirmary wing waiting for North to come out and tell them the news.

The silence hung heavily in the hall as everyone was either looking down at their feet or towards the wall or for Tooth telling the fairy's where to get the next tooth from a child. Jack looked at Bunny to see his head hung while looking at the blood covered book. He looked over at Sandy to see him looking at the wall floating a bit then looked at Tooth to see she was talking to her tooth fairies again, but he could see the worry in her eyes as she kept glancing back at the door every few seconds.

The silence was killing him. As he leaned his head against the wall and let out a puff of air when Tooth finally took the time to speak.

"Ya know," Everyone turned their attention towards her after she started to speak, " I remember when I first met her. She was a lot like you Jack."

1942 ~ * ~

As Winter came through a window and landed softly on the floor with few snowflakes floating around. As she looked around the room to see it was empty and she shook her head in a disappointment. She looked at the globe right in front of her to see all sorts of lights lighting up and a buttons surrounded the globe . She walked up to see this big red button with a label above it written in Russian.

"Is this Russian? I wonder what it says?"

Usually if you're one hundred years old you would've picked up on another language besides your own like, I don't know, Russian or something else.

"Luckily I don't know Russian."

With this she smiled and pushed the button and the rainbow beams shined from the globe. As they went into the sky, Winter looked up with awe in her eyes, but she turned her head when she heard the doors to the room burst open and someone cursing.

She turned her head to see a young looking woman with her white hair tied up in a pony tail and her bangs hanging loosely at the sides of her face. She was wearing a white button up shirt with a couple of buttons undone on the front and black slacks with heavy black boots. Her light blue eyes glared slightly as she looked at Winter as walked closer towards her with a young North in tow.

"Do you have any idea what you've just done?!"

Said woman yelled towards Winter when she was within ear ranged. Winter took a step back as she grabbed her ice staff with both hands trying to get away from the crazy English woman. As she was about to yell again North put his hand on her shoulder.

"I vhink you're frighting pore Jack Frost, Cassandra."

"Jack Frost?"

Her light blue eyes looked over at Winter as she was still gripping on to her staff. The woman shook her head and pointed her finger at her while she turned her head towards North saying:

"This is Jack Frost? THE Jack Frost? The one who is supposed to be a guardian like us? The guardian of Fun? I don't think so."

Winter glared at her as she was about to say something to 'Cassandra' more people came through the door and rushed towards Cassandra and North with worried look on their faces. Two of them were bunnies, the other two were fairy hummingbird looking, and the last two looked like the were covered in golden sand or something.

"Is everything alright Cassandra? We saw the- Who's she?"

The woman in gold sand asked and pointed towards Winter.

"Well Sandra, that apparently is Jack Frost."

"I go by Winter Lake, thank you."

"No kidding."

The smaller of the two bunnies came up to Winter looked her over with her paw on her chin. Her fur was mixed with white, dark brown spots, and black streaks. Her right paw, stomach, and left foot were solid white and the tips of her ears were solid black. Her eyes were two different the right was brown, but the left one was yellow almost gold. She had belt around her waist with a light brown whip attach to it on either side. The air bout her seemed calm and warm like the first days of Spring.

"Yep she's the one and only Jack Frost guys. She's the one Manny was telling us about."

"How do you know the sheila is the right one Spring?"

Spring smiled and looked towards the hummingbird fairy people asked them to check he mouth. The more feminine out of both of them went straight towards her mouth.

"This is so amazing! The rumors were right! They do sparkle like first stars in the night!"

"Now Toothina please get your finger out of her mouth. I'm sure she doesn't appreciate it."

Toothina released her fingers from her mouth and let the man in front of her. As Winter rubbed her jaw as she looked at him. Even though they looked exactly alike his feathers seemed more darkened then her's.

"I'm sorry about my apprentice she really wanted to meet you ever since she heard those rumors about those marvelous teeth of yours."

Winter blinked a couple of times before she realized that he was talking to her.

"Oh-uh-yeah. It's fine. No need to apologize. Just haven't been around people in a long time is all."

"Well in any case I'm Fang the tooth fairy and that young woman is my apprentice, Toothina."

He held out his hand for her to shake and she looked down at then back at him.

"I'm Jack Frost, but I go by Winter Lake."

She took his hand into hers and she smiled.
