––– Punjam Hy Loo (Bunnymund's POV) –––

.

I saw that intricate glove that "the Traveler" was using, it was perhaps the weirdest thing I had always seen in a person arm, when his sleeve ripped and my rang hit that thing I could see that some thing started to move in his arm, like a mechanism or something like that, and for the first time, I saw worry on the strange bloke's face.

.

Looking that thing his foot got me by surprise right on the chest, and I flew back, gasping for air.

One moment I saw a shadow, and shot my rang to it thinking it was another assault from the stranger, but it caught on his cloak and everything went black.

.

.

Next thing I see the cloak twirled and folded it self in plain air so thin it disappeared right there and then.

.

And up I saw the green gaze of the traveler, and felt the cold touch of a sword in my throat.

.

I heard his words almost in satisfaction. "So good fight, Easter Bunny, have I proven myself in combat? Do you yield?"

.

I looked in his eyes, ready to fight again, but he raised his hand almost apologetically and retorted.

"Sorry, I was thinking of a viking that I always have to fight before talking"

He lowered his hand and looked deep into my eyes.
"What I really meant was, By fighting with me, do you know now that I mean you no harm?"

.

Those were words of care and peace, but that damn drongo was drunk if he thinks he had won this fight.

.

My hand twitched to take his sword out of my face, but he was no longer there. I felt the cold of his sword in the back of my head and everything went black.

.

––– Punjam Hy Loo (Traveler's POV) –––

.

I really was thinking of that viking, all the times I would try to negotiate in his domains, I had to beat him in combat.

.

But that wasn't the case with this Hare, he wanted to fight so I gave that to him, but I needed their support, or perhaps it would be better if I could just convince them to leave me to my tasks.

One way or another, Hurting the Hare was no way to do it.

So when I fought I only countered with blocking attacks, that means, I only let my blows hit with the same force as his, cancelling the effects of his blows, like he fought with a mirror.

.

I Apologized.

I wanted him to see that I meant no harm, but he would not stop, the first movement he made, I moved to his back and knocked him out with the blunt grip of by sword.

.

I knew that knocking the Hare out would surely feed the conflict.
But I wanted to avoid conflict with the big northern guy.
After all who wants to hurt Santa Claus?

.

––– Punjam Hy Loo (NO POV) –––

.

What everyone in that room could see, is that Bunny had a sword close to his throat, and even Toothiana doubted the Traveler's words and feared for Bunny's life.

They saw not the slight movement that the Easter Bunny made to keep fighting.

What they saw, was the fast movement of the traveler, who turned around bunny as fast as the eye could see, and hit the back of his head with the butt of his sword.

By all means the fight was already won when they first saw his sword, and no further violence was necessary, so the last hit on Bunny brought gasps to the other Guardians mouths.

.

North unsheathed his swords.

.

Traveler and Bunny vanished for a second.

.

––– Punjam Hy Loo (North's POV) –––

.

I saw that he had disappeared once more. Then I felt the air filing to my right and brought down my sword on that direction.

There he was, crouched to my side, his glassy sword up ready to block my own sword, and laying the unconscious Bunnymund at Toothiana's feet.

His hand trembled and he got up pushing my sword aside.

.

"I Desire not to fight you" He said.

.

Deep down I felt it too, but, that was no commoner speaking to me, this one, I knew he had been meddling in our brains, and he said of magic.

.

I couldn't know if I should trust him.

.

And deep down other feeling lit up. Wonder.

.

I could see his sword closely now, unlike any other thing I saw, translucent, almost invisible, it was made of glass, or ice, or something like that, and it had a glow, a deep pulse.

For me the Toy Maker of the Ages, I could see the magic in it, it was not a whole piece, but fine strings like hairs that intertwined together in fine patterns until it became that beautiful weapon right in front of me.

.

I had to try it, and that made my mind, I would take lightly on him, and we should see.

.

––– Punjam Hy Loo (NO POV) –––

.

North got him without looking, and even not prepared for the blow, the traveler's sword came up, blocking North's sword

He had Bunnymund on his other arm, and the force of the block made him put a knee to the ground, carefully he put Bunny so that Toothiana could attend to him.

He pushed up and away and stand in a defensive stance.

His deep voice peacefully declared. "I Desire not to fight you"

.

North took a bit time wondering the options and looking at the Traveler's Sword.

.

While waiting for North's decision, slowly, the traveler moved back to the center of the room.

He made step by step so carefully that one could hardly say he moved at all, even though he was a good 5 feet away by the time North moved again.

.

Without words exchanged, both turned their stances and moved in to attack.
