Aquila Lestrange: The first meeting

(All things, people, and places that you recognize belong to that goddess that is JK Rowling. The only thing I get from this is entertainment.)

The week after she had arrived back home she was summoned to her uncle's study. She quietly and nervously approached his study. She took a deep calming breath as she opened the door and entered the room. Lucius was sitting at a large desk with parchment put in piles around the perimeter of the desk with a large map taking up most of the space on the desk. He was studying the map carefully as he motioned for Aquila to sit on the talk straight back emerald green chair on the other side of the desk. As she sat down she looked around at the many dark objects and old spell books that were too dark for the ministry to have. "Aquila." He started as he looked up at his niece. "The Dark Lord is returning. He is back although not completely. I have been told to bring you to him as soon as possible. Your aunt will get you ready and tonight you shall meet your future husband." He watched her curiously looking for any rebellion. Instead all he saw was her curt nod on her otherwise blank face. Her dark eyes has a curious glint to them as he dismissed her.
Aquila went to her room as quickly as she could without alerting her family members to her inner distress. As soon as she entered her room and shut the door she sat in her bed and began to have a panic attack. She was absolutely terrified of meeting the man that marked her as an infant. She wasn't sure what she thought of him just yet but she was terrified of meeting the man her parents happily went insane for.
Narcissa found her niece an hour later hyperventilating on her bed. She quickly sat on the bed beside her and scooped her up in her arms. Aquila was panicking so bad she didn't protest to her aunt's closeness. Narcissa rocked her gently as she rubbed her back comfortingly. Aquila calmed down after a while and quickly got off her aunt's lap once she realized what was going on. Narcissa sighed but got up and pulled out a green dress with silver lining from Aquila's closet and handed them to her. "You should wear this, your silver cloak, and your green high heels." She told her niece before kissing her forehead and leaving the room to allow her niece some privacy.
Aquila got dressed as she repressed her feelings. She went to the family parlor where the untraceable floo was. Draco watched her from the doorway curiously. Lucius took her hand in his and shooed Narcissa away as she tried to grab her niece away from her husband. Lucius guided Aquila to the floo and flooed with her to Riddle Manor.
Once there Aquila looked around at the shabby yet dignified room although it was dignified in that way only old manors could be with it's dark interior and intricate designs. Lucius quickly ushered her into a room up a set of wooden stairs, and through a sparsely lit hallway. Inside the room sat a tall wing backed faded red chair facing away from her . Beside the chair on either side sat two men whom gave Aquila a sense of fear that only the insane yet wicked could. On the right sat Barty Crouch Jr. a man believed to be dead by the entire wizarding world. He was a murderer and a man with less sanity than even her own mother. He was known to the world as a psychopath but to Aquila he was her godfather. Jr. didn't notice them but instead whispered hurriedly to the unseen occupant of the chair. On the left side of the chair was a man believed dead by many but known as traitor by few. He was Peter Pettagrew (An did I spell that right? Sorry if I didn't.). He was the idiot coward who betrayed the Potters and Black. He abandoned them for a power he would never receive. And even though deep down he knew that his greed kept him on the dark side. Peter saw Aquila and Lucius and quickly whispered to the chair's occupant.
"Turn me around Wormtail!" Ordered a quiet yet terrifying hissing voice. Peter slowly turned the chair around to reveal a creature Aquila had no recollection of ever seeing or hearing of. It looked to be the size of a 4 month old infant but it's features were distorted. The eyes were slits with what looked like a small red light behind each. The nose was replaced with a flat nub with to vertical slits for nostrils. The mouth was oddly large with small sharp teeth peeping through the parted lips. Aquila tried to repress the shiver that ran down her spine as her uncle bowed before the creature in respect and fear. Luckily no one saw or heard the small shake and gasp from the terrified girl. Aquila gave a tentative bow in front of the creature as it gave a look that resembled a smirk but the face and teeth gave it an unearthly look.
"Oh yes Bella's child. You are small but none the less you shall do. You're mother promised me that you would be my most faithful servant. You shall bare me many heirs." It hissed as Aquila's already pale face paled even more. She looked almost ashen as a result. "Yes my Lord. It would be my honor to fulfill my destiny." She answered politely and quietly. She knew not to anger this small lord of evil. She had heard and read too much to not be aware of what it was capable of. The creature once again smirked in it's creepy way. "Very good my child. Now I will have need of you later on this summer. You must continue practicing your dark magic." It hissed once more before ordering the niece and uncle to leave and wait for the burn of their marks before returning. Lucius nodded as he led his terrified niece back through the floo. As soon as they arrived back at Malfoy Manor Aquila raced to her room not caring about the rules. She shut and locked her door before crawling up on her bed and sobbing into her pillow.
She didn't know what to think. She didn't know if she even believed about pureblood supremacy. She wasn't ready to make a choice. But she knew she had to and very soon at that.
