It was a quiet and usual morning at NCIS, Ziva David was as usual, one of the first of her teammates to arrive, and now she was catching up on her paperwork with a distracted mind. This is until she heard Jenny Shepard call her name from the top of the stairs. Ziva looked up to see the redhead woman looking down at her.

"I need your help."

Ziva obediently nodded and met the director at the top of the stairs, before she followed her to her office. Ziva was slightly surprised to find a pouting Abby with a pair of heels on one side of her and flaming platform boots on the other. Ziva raised her eyebrows and leaned against Jenny's desk with a finger on her temple.

"We need to pick what she's wearing to court today." Jenny explained.

That's when the debate started between the redhead and the Israeli.

The debate went on and on until they finally came to the last few finishing touches.`

Ziva paced as she spoke to the director who was across the desk.

"In my professional opinion the risk of serious injury is substantial."

Jenny spoke calmly.

"I agree. But there are protocols that have to be followed."

"Which are useless, if it doesn't impart a tactile advantage."

"Don't underestimate appearances Ziva," Jenny retorted growing irritated that Ziva was really arguing with her over this, "I've known entire missions to fail because an asset didn't button her belt."

Ziva knew she had been beaten, so she stood straight again after leaning over the director's desk, with defeat she spoke. "I see your point."

"So we are in agreement?"

Ziva nodded respectfully before turning to face the Goth woman behind her who was holding the heels in one hand and her platform boots in another.

"Heels." The two women said together.

"I hate court."

With that Abby stuck out her lip in a pout and Ziva wished to start the argument up again, defending Abby until she got to wear the platforms instead.

"Your sacrifice is noted and appreciated." Jenny said before she smiled. "Lets talk outfits."

Just as Ziva readied herself to defend what Abby wanted once more, Tony popped his head into the room.

"I say you just go with the heels." He joked seductively and finished with a rolled cat meow.

Abby smiled welcomingly at her friend and for a moment, Ziva felt jealous because Abby didn't smile at her like that, not often anyways. The director's smile fell and so did Ziva's defensiveness as Tony stepped into the room. Abby turned to the two women with a smile as her friend neared.

"Inappropriate? Sorry. Nice shoes there, Abs."

The director started to sense the feeling that Ziva was having as the said woman grabbed her other arm softly, but kept up the fake smile. To everyone else this was normal, but the director knew Ziva better than that, Ziva was feeling insecure. A feeling that Ziva rarely ever felt, the director decided to put a stop to it.

"Can we help you, agent DiNozzo?

"Yes I've come to collect, officer David." He then turned to Ziva. "Boss got the bat signal," he said handing Ziva the camera.

Tony left the room and Ziva went to follow but she stopped beside Abby and turned to the woman with a smile.

"Bye, Abby."

Abby smiled at the woman and waved slightly with a quiet and shy "Bye". With that Ziva left the room with a slight bounce in her step.

Abby turned back to the director with a blush on her cheeks.

"See, I told you she liked you back."

Abby smiled and looked down at her feet to hide her ever growing blush.

Abby opened the suitcase full of drugs with an excited smile.

"Eat your heart out, Sigmund Freud."

McGee, poked his head around the corner as he thought he was being sneaky.

"McGee no lurking without a permit," Abby said as if she was an all knowing mother and McGee was a child that had just been caught doing something that he wasn't supposed to without looking up.

McGee tried to hide behind the cabinet before he stepped around it. As he walked toward Abby he looked around. "Sorry, uhh checking to see if you finished the analysis on, the field test said it was cocain, but uh-

Abby looked up at him with a friendly smile.

"I told you I would email you the results when I was done."

McGee nodded. "Yes."

Abby went back to testing the cocaine as McGee walked around her.

"Don't you have court today?" McGee tried to ask nonchalantly.

Abby quickly turned around.

"I'm finished, all I had to do was give a deposition."

Abby turned back around with a smile and continued on with her work.

"Oh." McGee said slightly disappointed behind her back. "So, you don't have to go back or anything?"

Abby turned around with a smile and a bright look in her eyes as she caught on to McGee's true reason for coming down to see her.

"McGee, you came all the way down here to see me in my court suit!"

McGee quickly tried to cover it up.

"No."

Abby pointed at McGee as she ignored the fact that she wished that Ziva had done the same, and accused McGee again.

"You totally did!"

"No, I did not!"

"Your mouth lies, but your red ears are telling the truth!"

Abby went to continue but she stopped suddenly and he smile fell. McGee looked at her confused.

"What? What's wrong?"

"Do you smell that?"

"No."

"It's almonds, we have to get out of here!" With that Abby pulled McGee to the floor.

"What's going on?"

"Cyanide Gas!" Abby exclaimed.

McGee looked up in the direction of the case of drugs before it finally registered to him. He then grabbed Abby's arm and stood up, flipping her onto her back in the process, before dragging her out of her lab.

Once out Abby stood up and hit the large red emergency biohazard button outside of her lab, effectively locking it down.

"This is so embarrassing," Abby said through her oxygen mask as her blood pressure was measured.

"Okay in my defense, what self-respecting drug dealer, cuts its cocaine with potassium cyanide?" Abby defended herself.

"Obviously one that doesn't care about repeat business," McGee joked making Abby laugh.

"Luckily your exposure to the gas was brief, I don't anticipate any long-term ramifications." Ducky said as he finished checking on Abby and Gibbs, Tony and Ziva all walked quickly into the morgue.

"Better not be, you two don't have my permission to be sick," Gibbs said gruffly as they pulled off their oxygen masks.

Abby let out a long sigh. "We're fine, Gibbs. The only damage done was to my ego. It was a newbie accident."

Tony and Ziva shared a knowing look that Abby caught.

"What?"

"Were not so sure it was an accident, Abs."

Ziva watched the Goth woman through sympathetic eyes.

"Not sure meaning what?" McGee asked as he took of his mask off of his neck and fully removed it from his body,

"We think whoever set up the crime scene might be after, Abby." Ziva said with a disapproving look.

"Me? Who would wanna kill me? I mean Tony I understand."

"Hey," Tony said slightly offended.

"Mikel Mauher ring a bell?" Gibbs asked suddenly taking Abby's attention away from Tony and Ziva.

Abby looked slightly ashamed for a moment as she realized that she had been caught for what she had tried to cover up.

"It should, he placed over two-hundred phone calls to you in the last four months, one right before the accident." Ziva said as she looked away from the hurt woman, she couldn't bare to see her like this.

"You went through my phone records?"

"And your credit card bills, did you really buy this guy Mauher a straightjacket for his birthday?"

"Okay, slow down, okay?"

"Sounds like you two were pretty serious," McGee said sounding a little jealous.

Ziva had to hold back the possessive growl that threatened to come out of her throat at her own jealousy of both McGee and Mauher.

"'Til she filed a restraining order against him. I'd say the straightjacket was a red flag there, Abs." Tony filled them in.

"How come we never heard about this gentleman?" Ducky asked.

"Okay, I dated him last year, things just got a little out of hand."

"Did I mention the restraining order?" Tony chimed in from behind Abby as he paced back and forth.

"Okay it was a lot out of hand."

"Why didn't you come to me, Abby?" Gibbs asked as he ducked down to get at Abby's matched height while she was sitting down.

Ziva felt slight pity for the woman, but she wasn't about to let her off the hook for not telling anyone about this man who could be trying to kill her. Ziva cared for Abby to much to do that.

"Because Gibbs," Abby said in a small voice that got a bit louder as she went on, " I wanted him restrained, I didn't want him, beaten to a pulp with a baseball bat."

Ziva smiled briefly at the thought, but she quickly covered it up.

"And I'm embarrassed I didn't have great taste in boyfriends." Abby said as Gibbs walked away for a moment with disappointment.

"Yeah I saw the web shrine dedicated to you," Tony revealed.

"www dot myhotdarkangel .com," Ziva said with a turn of her head, she herself had seen this thing and it was creepy.

"Okay, it's creepy, but it's not dangerous," she defended herself once more as she met Ziva's hard eyes.

Ziva wanted to show weakness, to show Abby that she wasn't trying to hurt her with this information or bring up bad memories, she was just trying to keep her safe. So Ziva kept her eyes hard as she met Abby's soft eyes that begged her for forgiveness.

"He just can't except that it's over between us. He's not the violent type." Abby continued to reason.

"The guy cleans up crime scenes for a living Abs." Tony argued.

"I know, that's what I liked about him, but I'm telling you Gibbs he's not your man."

"You seem to be trying awfully hard to defend him, Abby." Ziva accused her suddenly, stepping forward and cutting off Gibbs before he could say what he was going to.

"Ziva." Abby whispered in a slightly hurt voice.

"I'm just stating a fact, if he's not our man than why try so hard to protect him?"

"I'm not, Ziva, I'm just -

"That's enough you two." Gibbs cut them both off.

"Your gonna pay him a visit anyway?" Abby said with a knowing face and a shrug, trying to move on from Ziva's accusations.

Gibbs just looked at her before he walked off.

Ziva started to follow and Abby decided that she would get her fare share of the fight and get in her own blow. If Ziva wanted to basically accuse her of still liking Mikel then she would have to pay for it.

"Can you pick up my red-studded dog collar while your there?"

Ziva looked over her shoulder, her mouth open just a bit before she turned forward again.

The music was extreamly loud as they neared Mauher's place of work and Ziva recognized the song as one that had played in Abby's lab before.

"I can see why she fell for the guy, they even have the same taste in music." Tony teased Ziva, he was the only one besides Jenny that knew of Ziva's secret affections for the Goth woman.

Ziva was about to make a smart retort when Tony pulled out his gun, she and the others quickly followed with ease as they cautiously made their way into what could have been another crime scene.

"The lunar effect is a myth, there's no statistical correlation between the phases of the moon and human behavior." Abby explained, still in her blue jumpsuit. "That's why it would never work with us."

Ziva became confused and made a small mental note to never involve herself with the lunar effect. "Because the lunar effect is a myth?"

"No because I'm scientist and he play's with voodoo dolls." Abby explained to the woman, she was still hurt by Ziva's earlier accusations.

"But you play with voodoo dolls, Abby." McGee chimed in behind her.

"I meant it metaphorically, McGee. I don't think they actually do anything, I just play with them to, you know, relax."

Ziva watched with sympathetic eyes as the frazzled scientist explained herself.

"Well looks like you can put away you Mikel Mauher doll," Tony said as he and Gibbs joined the other three.

"METRO confirmed Mauher's alibi." Gibbs informed her.

"He cleaned eight crime scenes, over the past four days. Been surrounded by homicide detectives the entire time."

McGee went on to say something, but Abby zoned out while he spoke, she had been through a lot today, and honestly she just wanted to sleep.

"Then I'm off the hook," she said with a smile.

Ziva got up to protest this, she wouldn't stop until she was one hundred percent sure that Abby was safe.

"Not necessarily, he could have had an alibi."

Abby pouted just as she had done earlier that day.

"Leave it to the assassin to rain on my parade."

"Or maybe it was just a lab accident, I mean who would wanna kill, Abby," Tony reasoned, trying defuse Abby's slight anger at Ziva.

"Yeah it's true it's not like someone's after Tony." McGee teased.

Ziva smiled picking up on McGee's joke instantly. "Now that's a suspect list I wouldn't want to go over again."

"HAHA, I think the jokes over, we get it." Tony chimed in.

Abby smiled at the three agents, it always amused her, the way they acted together.

"And our suspect list, Ziva?" Gibbs asked.

"Uhhh... We don't, have one."

Gibbs just stopped and looked at her for a moment before she got the hint.

"But I can contact the local medical waist facility and see if anyone reported a break in."

Gibbs continued to give orders that Abby didn't really listen to until, he told McGee to take Abby home with him, which she immediately protest to. She already had Ziva accusing her of still liking Mikel she didn't need Ziva accusing her of still liking McGee as well.

"Gibbs, I'm fine, I only have one stalker and he has an alibi."

"I don't want you to be alone tonight, Abs. Your going with McGee."

"Great, like I haven't been traumatized enough today." McGee looked at Abby with a slightly hurt look.

Abby found herself playing one of McGee's video games, desperately trying to keep Ziva off of her mind. Usually, if she were alone like most nights, and she couldn't get the assassin off of her mind, she would take a warm bath and allow herself to "relax" at the thoughts of the woman that ran through her mind. Unfortunately, tonight was one of those nights and she was stuck at McGee's apartment, she couldn't even let herself think about the woman in fear that she would simply whisper her name as she thought about how smart and sneaky the woman was or just remembered one of the fun times they had had together.

This tactic was working, or at least it was until McGee came in and told her it was bed time.

"Damn it, I've got to find a way to keep her off my mind, hurry!" she thought to herself before she moved over to McGee's typewriter.

"I'm going to take the sleeping bag," he said as he came in with said sleeping bag.

"Were adults, McGee, we can share the same bed." Abby said, not really thinking about it as she distracted herself with the sleeping bag.

McGee came over and stopped her from doing that too, so Abby decided it was time to brush her teeth, anything to keep her mind off of Ziva longer.

"If you promise to keep your hands to yourself."

Abby rolled her eyes, of course she would keep her hands to herself, it wasn't McGee she wanted anyways. Abby let out a small laugh.

"Clearly you haven't you haven't been, your shirt, smells like J lo glow. Oh, I can't find my toothbrush I think I left it out in your car."

"That's alright, your old toothbrush is still in the bathroom."

"You kept my old toothbrush?" Abby asked with a slightly shocked face. "That's a little creepy, McGee, maybe you should take the sleeping bag." She finished as she rounded the corner out of sight.

"What is creepy about it? I just never bothered to throw it out."

Abby came back around the corner holding a ladybug toothbrush in her hand. She leaned against the wall expectantly and waited for an explanation.

"What?"

"This is not my toothbrush."

"Well, then, I must have bought a second one and forgot about it."

Abby looked back at the toothbrush and then back to McGee.

"It's a ladybug toothbrush, McGee! That's for cute girls named Jena Marie that bake cookies and wear J lo Glow. Not for a quasi-manly federal agent that carries a gun."

"Do you want to use it or not?"

"An anonyms tooth brush? I would rather remove my own tonsils with Typhoid Mary's straight razor."

Abby then walked around McGee and headed for the door.

"Where are you going?"

"To get my toothbrush."

"No! No, your not leaving the apartment."

"Why not, McGee? We both know Gibbs is just being over protective."

"I'm not worried about you. I'm worried about me and if Gibbs finds out I ever let you leave."

"Okay, good point you go." Abby said with a turn of her head.

"I am not leaving you alone either."

Abby stepped closer to him decided to play her winning card with a smirk.

"Fine then, I'll just use your toothbrush."

McGee finally cracked and grabbed his coat.

"Don't open the door for anyone."

He left with that and Abby found that her mind was suddenly absent again. "Not good," she said to herself before she ran back to her video game.

Abby heard a knock at the door just as she started the game, she paused it and ran to the door, opening it to find McGee on the other side who slapped his sides with frustration.

"What?" Abby asked genuinely confused.

"I told you not to open the door for anyone!"

"What'd you forget?"

"My keys."

"Why do you need keys if I'm here?"

"My car keys."

McGee turned to Abby as he went to leave again.

"Now listen to me, you do not open this door, okay not for anyone, or I will tie you up."

Abby smiled teasingly as he said this. "Really?"

With that McGee left and Abby went back to her video game. However, it wasn't' long before another knock came to her door. Abby decided to mess with McGee and just open the door again believing that it was him.

Abby opened the door with a wide smile on her face that fell quickly when she saw Mikel on the other side instead of McGee.

"Hi, Abby."

Abby backed away from him in fear, wishing now more than ever that Ziva was with her, to protect her in her safe and strong arms.

"I forgot how beautiful you are, I mean up close and in person," he said as he came in and shut the door behind him.

"I didn't find Mauher boss the guy's totally disappeared, but I found this in his apartment." With that Tony showed them a collage of Abby. Everything, every picture was of Abby.

It made Ziva's blood boil, this man really had been stalking Abby all of this time, that meant Abby had never been safe even when she was with all of them.

"He's been tracking her for a while now," Ziva said as she came closer to the screen, joining Tony and Gibbs.

McGee and Tony started to talk, but Ziva got lost in her own thoughts. There were pictures up there that had them in it as well, times when they had been with Abby and had been oblivious to the danger she was in. She had been oblivious to the danger Abby was in, it was something she would never forgive herself for. Abby had been in danger all this time and all Ziva had done this morning when she had seen Abby cowering in the corner of the elevator, was crouch down and hug her before giving her a taser gun.

It was late when Ginger and Terry entered the bullpen and the whole team was still hard at work. Tony jumped up and greeted her before she moved to Gibbs. And spoke to him a bit, before showing him her subpoena. Gibbs smiled and held up his own to match hers.

The woman took it and read it and the two exchanged a glance.

"You want the email, that tipped us to the restraining order." She said with a sight turn of her head. "Why?"

"We're hoping there's routing information in the header that will help us trace it." McGee chimed in.

"Going after the whistle blowers now are we?" Ginger accused Gibbs.

"No, just stalkers."

"Wait, wait, slow down a second, whose being stalked?" Terry broke in.

He was a small and slightly funny looking man. He didn't seem like he could commit a crime, more like a man who was Mr. Bean's cousin.

"Her name's, Abby." Tony answered from his relaxed position at his desk.

Ziva having been standing by McGee's desk walked over to her desk, stopping in front of him with an accusing look on her face.

"Any your lawyer is going to try to use her bad taste in men to impregnate her credibility." she sneered.

She was upset that this man and his lawyer were attacking Abby after the hell that the Goth had been through the past two days. Sure Abby had bad taste in men, but that shouldn't be a reason to question her entire judgment, only to question her judgment of men that she dated.

"Impugn, Zi-vah." Tony corrected her.

"Yes." She said with a slight nod before she continued to her desk.

"What does any of this have to do with the embezzling charges?" Terry asked in confusion.

Tony made a sound of excitement and stood up from his desk before moving to stand in front of Terry. Towering over him as he spoke like a child on Christmas morning.

"Embezzlement, nice! How much?"

"Oh, uh, they say ten million, but I'm innocent, I-I was framed." He said rather unconvincingly.

The talking went on but Ziva became distracted by trying to keep herself awake, she had been up for quite a while and it was late, maybe after this woman was done attacking Abby, she would visit her.

The thought made Ziva smile.

Ziva noticed Gibbs leading the woman to the elevator where Abby had recently set up a small table so that she could work. The Goth also had Bert with her unsurprisingly.

Ziva went back to her work on trying to find whatever she could to help keep Abby safe, hoping that her eyes didn't close on her.

Ziva stepped out of the elevator into Abby's lab and let out a sigh of relief as she found Abby on top of a blanket on the floor. Abby looked around her metal lab table at the sound of Ziva's sigh with a curious look.

"What's wrong?"

Ziva smiled and started toward Abby.

"I grew worried when I found that you were no longer in the elevator."

Abby didn't smile at her as she came and sat on her knees beside Abby, resting her arm on Abby's raised knees and looking down at the Goth who fiddled with Bert without looking at her.

"What's wrong?"

Abby looked at her briefly before looking back at Bert, she was quiet for a few moments before she spoke.

"You hurt me."

It was quiet, so quiet Ziva almost didn't hear it. Ziva tilted her head slightly.

"How? When?"

Abby was quiet for a moment and this time she didn't look at Ziva at all as she spoke.

"Today, when we were down in the lab. You basically accused me of still having feelings for Mikel."

Ziva let out a sigh. "I was angry."

"At me?"

The calmness in Abby's voice surprised her.

"No, I was angry at almost everything and everyone, but you."

Abby looked at her with confusion and waited for her to continue.

"I was angry at Mikel for putting you in danger so many times, at Tony who flirted with you this morning, at the director for forcing you to wear that suit to court, and even at myself."

"Why were you mad at yourself?"

Ziva smiled briefly and she intertwined her fingers with Abby's.

"Because I never noticed that you were in danger, because I failed to protect you, because it was McGee that dragged you out of the lab, not me."

"Ziva." Abby whispered for the second time that day.

Ziva went to speak again, but she stopped when she got a text on her phone. Ziva read the text and sighed.

"That's Gibbs, I've got to go."

Ziva leaned forward and kissed Abby's forehead before she left the lab, leaving Abby feeling lonely.

Ziva shook her head and blinked her eyes once more to keep herself awake.

Gibbs must have noticed.

"Ziva, go home."

Ziva stood up and straightened her shirt while quickly coming up with a lie for why she was staying.

"I'm staying if your staying."

"I'm staying."

Ziva sat back down with a sigh.

"Well I'm staying," McGee chimed in.

"I'm staying too," Tony said through his arms as he rested his head on them.

Ziva looked at him through narrow eyes when she spoke with sarcasm. This wasn't a game to her, the woman that she deeply cared for was in trouble.

"I'm sure Abby feels safer already."

Tony lifted his head and glared in return, he knew why Ziva was attacking him, all of the emotions that she regularly didn't allow herself to feel, were swirling up inside her causing a storm that mixed with her fatigue. This wasn't a good combination for anyone that was caught on the sharp end of Ziva's words. Tony decided to let it go and he let his head fall back into his arms.

"Ziva you getting this?" McGee asked her frantically as he started to track down Mauher.

"Yes, looks like Mauher accessed Abby's account thirty minutes ago."

"McGee." Gibbs said as he gestured to the plasma.

"Yeah boss, used her terminal to email to..." McGee trailed off and Ziva finished his sentence.

"Pass and ID Officer at the Navy Yard?"

"He's given himself a drive on."

Gibbs started running toward the emergency stairs with the rest of his team on his heels with their guns.

Ziva ran ahead of them all, fearing for Abby's life. Abby wasn't safe down there by herself, let alone with Mauher on the premises and so close to Abby. Ziva would stop at nothing to keep him away from her.

Ziva burst into the room with a shout.

"Abby, down!"

"He's right there!" Abby pointed at the window before doing what Ziva told her to.

Tony notified someone as Ziva continued to search around the room.

"Clear!" Ziva shouted as she ran back to Gibbs who was next to a crouching and frightened Abby.

"Ziva, lock down the yard, no one in or out."

Ziva left the room to follow her bosses orders without question, he knew how to keep Abby safe.

"We'll find him, Abby." Gibbs assured her.

"Well then I can't stay here, Gibbs."

"Your definetly not staying at McGee's place." Tony chimed in, Ziva would never forgive him if he let her go back there.

"No place is safe! If he can get to me on the Navy Yard he can get to me anywhere."

Gibbs sat down on his knees and pet Abby's hair comfortingly, trying to get her to calm down.

"Not anywhere! Not anywhere."

Ziva nocked on the door in front of her and waited for it to open. Gibbs opened the door in a t-shirt and a pair of sweatpants.

"Where is she?"

Gibbs stepped aside and Ziva entered his house before turning around and waiting while he shut the door.

Gibbs turned around and faced her, he was quiet for a moment.

"She's sleeping, like you should be."

"I can't. I just. I." Ziva let out a long sigh as she gave up the struggle to get the right words out to describe what she was feeling.

"You couldn't sleep until you were sure she was safe."

"Yes."

Gibbs gestured in the direction of the hallway.

"If she wakes up she might still be a little groggy, she drank quite a bit before she fell asleep."

Ziva nodded as she entered the dark guest bedroom. She shut the door behind her and slipped off her shoes and her sweatshirt, revealing her tank top, Ziva took of her socks so that she was left in only her sweat pants and tank top. Ziva then slid into the bed next to the woman.

Abby shifted and groaned in her sleep, her eyes opened and she looked at Ziva for a moment.

"Go back to sleep, mon bel ange."

Abby groaned.

"Don't you dare speak French when I'm too in between drunk and hungover to understand it."

Ziva smiled.

"Sorry."

Abby pressed into Ziva and Ziva tried to curl her body into Abby when Abby suddenly jumped back.

"God Ziva, your feet are freezing."

Abby then curled into Ziva once more, she trapped Ziva's feet between her legs in the process trying to warm them.

Ziva smiled and rested her head on the same pillow as Abby's and Abby tucked her head under Ziva's chin.

"Sleep now, Abby. You have a big day tomorrow."

Abby tried to answer her phone as it rang, but the marshal knocked out of her hand and grabbed her wrist. Abby knew something was wrong the moment he had reached for her. In a last desperate act to escape she tried to open the door, but he had already locked it.

He drove up to a vacant lot, throwing Abby's phone out the window in the process. He then used his superior strength to pull Abby into the back of the van where he pushed her to the floor. Abby wouldn't go down without a fight though.

She kicked up with one of her higheeled feet, hitting him right between the legs and making him let out a shout.

Abby quickly turned onto her stomach and crawled a bit before reaching for her bag, she was able to grasp it just as the man grabbed her feet and dragged her back causing Abby to lose her grip on the bag and letting the contents spill out.

Abby reached out for her safety whistle and stuck her fingers in her ears before she blew as hard as she could. The man let out a scream an covered his ears.

Gibbs signaled Tony to open the van door, as he did Abby shot the man with the taser gun, sending volts of electricity through him as he toppled out onto the ground.

Abby growled at the man and didn't let up on the button as the man withered on the ground.

"Be with you in a minute Gibbs."

Abby growled once more and sent another thousand volts into the man.

"And don't look up my skirt!"

Tony watched, stunned but impressed.

Finally, Abby stopped and jumped out of the van with a satisfied smirk.

"Come on, Abs. Ziva and the others have been worried about you." Tony informed her.

Abby argued with Ginger about human detection for a moment, but Ginger countered her. Telling the Goth that it had been yet to be fully-vetted and peer approved.

"Lucky me." Terry said with a seemingly innocent smile, but Abby saw through it with a glare.

"Scent evidence, the only physical evidence tying the defense to the money he took." Gibbs circled around until he stood slightly to the side of Terry and slightly in front of him at the same time.

"We're saying your a very smelly man," Tony teased making Abby smiled.

"Hey I was proven innocent, remember."

"Actually, you just weren't found guilty, there's a difference." Abby said with an attitude.

"I'll keep that in mind, while I'm getting a tan on the beaches of Bora Bora."

Abby looked away from him, to say that she was pissed was an understatement. This tiny little annoying man was getting on her nerves.

"Don't take it so hard. I knew it was going to end like this right from the very beginning." Ginger said smugly with her arms crossed and a smile on her face.

"Too bad your client didn't." Gibbs told her.

Tony moved around and started to handcuff Terry.

"Yeah, you should have trusted your lawyer there giggle man."

"Instead of spending all of that money to hire a hitman to take out the star witness, a.k.a. Me." Abby said with a smirk of her own.

Ginger looked to Terry with a confused look.

"What are they talking about?"

"I have no idea."

"You paid him to kill. You didn't pay him to keep his mouth shut." Gibbs said as he stepped in front of Terry.

Gibbs pointed back where Ziva and McGee each stood at the side of the hitman.

Ziva fought to hide her proud smile. She was still incredibly impressed with Abby's handiwork on the hitman, and she grew even more impressed with the forensic scientist every passing moment.

"He even gave you credit for staging the bloodbath in the Navy Lodge." Tony put in.

Terry glared at Abby when he sneered at her.

"You think your so smart."

"Terry don't say a word." Ginger said as she followed Terry who was being lead away by Tony.

This left Abby and Gibbs alone together. Ziva left McGee to handle the hitman and she walked up to Abby as she let her smile finally come out.

"I've got her Gibbs."

Gibbs nodded and headed off to follow Tony.

The two women were quiet for a few moments. Ziva watching Abby and Abby looking down at the ground. Ziva finally decided to make her first move. She leaned over and swiped Abby's hair away from her neck before she placed a lingering closed mouth kiss there. When she pulled back Abby gave her a shy smile and Ziva took the chance to intertwine their fingers.

"So what do you want to do now?"

Abby smiled and looked down before she stepped closer to Ziva and met her gaze.

"I would like to go home and get out of this monkey suit, then I would like to get to know you a little better. However I know that you would like to do the same, but you also want to watch Gibbs interregate Mikel."

"I would choose getting to know you better, over Mauher though."

Abby placed her index finger on the middle of Ziva's lips signaling for her to be quiet.

"I have a way that we can do both."

"I love her you know." Mikel said to Gibbs.

Gibbs stood up, frustrated that Mikel said that love was his reasoning for writing a suicide note in Abby's handwriting and having a gun to shoot her with as a last resort. That wasn't love.

"Y-you don't get it do you? Huh?" He said as he stood up and walked the opposite way around the table as Gibbs got closer. "She wants everybody to believe that she doesn't love me. Hell, I think even she believes it sometimes."

Mikel looked into the dark glass, on the other side was the observation room, where Gibbs knew Abby and Ziva were, then he spoke.

"Tell you what, if you don't care about me, then how come you can't take your eyes off of me, right now? You can lie to the rest of the world, but you can't lie to your heart."

Gibbs put the suicide note in his pocket walked over to the switch, he had left Abby and Ziva alone in the interrogation room for a reason. He knew that a few minutes alone and the two women would definitely start "getting to know each other better." He wanted Mauher to see that Abby had successfully moved on.

Gibbs flipped the switch before he left the room, allowing Mikel to see into the observation room, where Ziva had Abby on the small table that held all of the different recording machines. She stood between Abby's legs with her hands in Abby's hair. Abby was still in her court outfit and she had her hands buried in Ziva's wild curls as their lips danced and their tongues explored new territory.

Mikel stood stunned before he spoke.

"Abby?"

Abby pulled back from the kiss and turned to him for a moment, before she turned back to Ziva and cupped her cheek with a kind smile. Ziva smiled back and pecked Abby's lips before she took her hand and helped her off of the table, then she led Abby out of the observation room leaving Mikel behind, screaming Abby's name in turmoil.
