She watched as Loki paced back and forth in front of her cell. Katherine's eyes followed him as she bit her lip nervously. He stopped and looked at her before smirking. Katherine still cursed him for being so handsome and wished he could go back to the kind and quiet person he was, but she knew he was forever changed the day he found out about his true parentage. "Are you ready to join me now?" he asked softly.

Katherine didn't even have the strength in her to answer anymore, she felt so weak. She swallowed and slowly backed further into her cell.

You are weak, you can't even do this!

Katherine flinched as the words from long ago came to her mind. Loki noticed this and frowned slightly before continuing. "You're so weak that you can't even speak? Such a shame, I thought you would fight a bit more." Katherine glared weakly at him which caused Loki to grin. "There's that fighting spirit, now, are you ready to join me?" Katherine weakly sat up. She had tried her hardest to fight the hunger, but she knew once he drew blood, she would lose and he would get what he wants. Loki tilted his head before smirking.

"I see now, you need a bit of motivation is all" he purred.

Katherine looked down ashamed that she had lost this battle with the Mischief maker, all the training her father gave her, the hard work and suffering she went through, all down the drain. Loki unlocked the cell and stepped in while leaving the door open knowing the vampire was too weak to move. He kneeled in front of her and grabbed the back of her head, pulling her hair a bit so she could look him in the eyes. "It's such a pity you couldn't hold out long enough until you broke free or Thor came to your rescue."

Katherine closed her eyes not wanting to her the mocking words anymore.

Loki smirked "Now, I can't have my next minion so weak she can hardly stand can I? We're going to have to fix that aren't we?" he purred. "J-Just get it over with already Loki" Katherine whispered, that was all she could manage at this point. Loki looked at her, her already pale skin was as white as snow and she seemed to be panting. Even in this weak state, she was a sight to behold. He hated how she was able to stir these emotions inside of him.

He yanked her hair harder to release some of his anger and smirked at the cry of pain she let out.

His other hand came to his neck. With his lengthened and sharpened nails, he slid his finger swiftly across the side of his neck. Blood started pooling at the wound and that got Katherine's attention. He loosened the grip he had on her hair and in an instant, her fangs were buried into his skin. He barely flinched, enjoying the pain as she took her fill. Katherine's eyes were tightly shut as the memories she wanted to forget came flooding back.

A small child around the age of ten was sitting in a small corner of her room, her pitch black hair fell over her pale shoulders as she held her knees to her chest. She had lost count of how many days she had been locked up in that room. She was extremely pale and lacking in energy. This was her father's idea of learning to have self-control. She would be locked up for days at a time with no blood to later have it dangled in her face and expected not to pounce. She was getting weaker by the minute. She heard the door unlock and she turned to see her father with a servant.

She bit her lip as she stood without having being asked to. "Alright Katherine, the week is up, are you ready?"

The small girl nodded weakly "Yes father" her small voice said.

Katherine had pulled Loki closer and kept her eyes shut as she tried to forget the memories coming forth. Loki frowned when she did that. He could feel her form trembling, and he wanted to know why. She wouldn't let him pull away though and he figured he would get it out of her soon enough. Katherine whimpered as the memory continued.

"Wrong!" Katherine gasped in pain as the force of her father's hand stung her cheek. She had been forced to stop drinking from the now unconscious servant and flinched as her father's hand threatened to strike again. "We have been over this time and time again Katherine! Your enemies will try to weaken you to get what they want, they will make promises of satisfying your thirst if you give them what they want, you must learn self-control" Katherine looked down ashamed and on the verge of tears.

"I'm sorry daddy" she whispered.

The man sighed. "If you are to become queen one day, you must learn not to fall so easily to temptations." Katherine frowned, "But daddy, I don't want to be queen, I want to live my life freely without being tied down to a throne. Her father huffed "When you are older, you will understand the responsibilities that you have to this kingdom, for now, wash up and we will try again in a few weeks." Katherine sighed but nodded and went to do what her father had asked of her.

Once Katherine had taken her fill, she slowly pulled away from the mischief maker. Loki frowned when she didn't meet his eyes. "Well, aren't you going to brainwash me as well? Make me your pet or something? You got what you wanted right?" she had a bit of edge to her voice. He continued to stare at her until she met his eyes. "What? Why are you staring at me?" She asked annoyed. "It seems, my dear Katherine, that I still have much to learn about you. You are quite the enigma."
