Azula walked over to the left side of the garden, where the Avatar and his friends were along with her brother. They were dressed in their average attire, Sokka wearing his water tribe outfit, Aang dressed in his orange and yellow robes, Toph wearing earth kingdom colors and Zuko wearing his regular Fire Lord attire.

"I really wish this place had cactus juice, Azula heard Sokka say as she walked up to them. Toph, Zuko, and Aang gave him a weird look. "It is still a really good drink and the crazy stuff you see is pretty nuts," he said as he laughed. The group just laughed in response.

"That's a peasant drink, we only have the best fire whiskey in the whole nation," Azula said in response, making herself known. "Plus, we can't have you hallucinating and running amuck, today is about me, "she said smugly. Sokka just rolled his eyes in response.

"There's my little sister, I was looking for you," said the young Fire Lord.

"I am not little anymore Zu-Zu, I am 21 years old," Azula said with a scoff.

"Yeah but you'll always be my little bratty sister," Zuko said with a genuine smile and half hugged her. Azula herself gave a small smile.

"And you'll always be my idiot older brother," she said as she patted his hand on her shoulder awkwardly. Zuko took this as a term of endearment. She was not use to showing public affection towards anyone but Ty Lee, and even that was a challenge sometimes. Also, it was in front of the avatar's entourage.

"It is good to see that the Fire Nation Royals have a good family bond now," Aang said.

"Yes, indeed. By the way, hello Avatar, Toph, Sokka." The princess said. "Thank you for coming to this party that Ty Lee planned…and Zu-Zu," she said as Zuko was starting to claim credit also. Aang spoke first.

"Thank you for having us here Princess Azula, and congratulations on your happiness."

"Yea, congrats Princess you seem real happy and less evil," Sokka said jokingly. Azula made a face at the comment but chose to ignore it.

"Thank you both," the proud princess said.

"I suppose you didn't even want this party, huh Hellfire?" Toph said as she jokingly. "I bet you would have rather spent the day with your girl in bed." Everyone turned to Azula for her response.

"I suppose I would, but my little vixen decided to plan a party and no thanks to Zuko, here we all are, but I am content thus far, the food here looks and smells delicious. And I don't know why you insist on calling me that Toph," Azula said. Everyone laughed for it was such an obvious answer.

Sokka answered for Toph. "It's because when you get mad you basically summon Hellfire everywhere, don't forget we have all seen you in a fight." Azula chuckled at the comment.

"I suppose it is true." And everyone agreed.

"Brother, can I speak to you for a moment…in private?"

"Of course, lead the way, excuse us," Zuko said as he left the group. Azula lead him away a good distance from the others, to a pond they use to hang around as children.

"What's on your mind Azula?"

"First you must swear to me you won't speak to anyone about this, not even Mai, this is a serious confidential issue," the firebender said, her voice full of seriousness and Zuko began to worry.

"What is this about? What is such a big deal that I can't even tell my wife?"

"Just swear to me that you won't tell anyone, won't you?"

Zuko sighed heavily.

"Alright, alright, I swear, now tell me."

Silence.

"Azula?" Again she said nothing.

"Spit it out won't you?"

"Okay, Okay, I think…I'm not sure… but have my suspicions,…I believe Ty Lee is waiting for me to ask her for her hand in marriage...do you think so?"

Zuko looked at her confused. Then he realized she was serious and started laughing uncontrollably. He was laughing so hard that he was on the ground by the end of it.

"I don't see what is so funny brother," Azula said irritated.

"I'm sorry Azula, but that is the most obvious question you have ever asked me. It's like you asking me if the sky is blue," he said as he continued laughing.

"So I'll take that as a yes." Azula said thoughtfully. Zuko stood up from the ground.

"You know what's the most hilarious thing about this? You seem scared shitless about the whole idea of this! Who knew big bad Azula is afraid of commitment." The Fire Lord said as he continued laughing.

"I am not afraid! If there is anyone I would commit to, it would be Ty Lee. I'm just shocked is all; it is embarrassing that I didn't see this coming. Are you sure?"

"Positive. Now I know why you didn't want me to tell Mai, but she already knows, everyone who has eyes and has seen the way Ty Lee looks at you would know. "

"Wow," was all Azula could say.

"I wouldn't exactly say she is waiting for you to ask because personally, I don't know, Mai or Suki would know, but I do know that if you were to ask her right now she would say yes without hesitation."

Azula just stared at him blankly. The thought of her asking Ty Lee to marry her, right now, in this moment just made her feel all flustered.

"So now that you know, what are you going to do about it?" Zuko spoke, bringing her out of her thoughts.

"Well, I never really thought about marriage brother, in my younger years I was a little preoccupied trying to take over the world and going insane." Azula said sarcastically.

"But now?" he asked.

"Well now obliviously, all I care about is Ty Lee…I love her." And I can't even fathom my life without her, she thought. "So asking for her hand in marriage would be the next logical step I suppose," the Princess said with a confident grin.

"I suppose it is," her brother said with a small smile. He thought it was amusing that she had to relate everything to logic, even though everyone knows love is not logical.

"So, it is decided then…I am going to ask Ty Lee to marry me," she said in a decisive matter. "Thank you for your help Zu-Zu, it was easier sorting this problem out with your help."

"No problem Azula, you know you can come to me for anything."

"Yes I know, and this goes without saying but if you tell anyone about this conversation, I will kick your ass. I can't have people thinking I'm soft and I can't have Ty Lee finding out what I'm planning, understood?"

"Yes, yes I know, I do not wish to be fried alive anytime soon, ok?" he said jokingly.

"Good. Well we must get back to our guests, people will become suspicious."

"Has anyone ever told you, you're too paranoid?" Zuko said laughing and they started walking back to the party.

"Shut up, I'm just cautious." She said. Zuko just shook his head as he followed his sister.

Author's Note: Sorry I haven't updated midterms are killing me!

Also im working on a prequel to help explain why things are the way they are. And I know the ages are off but I wanted them to be older. Also the story might go up to M rating because of the action I have planned, more action then fluff. You can't kidnap Azula's girl without expecting a few bodies to pile up. LOL Let me know what you guys think by leaving a comment about anything!
