"I'm gonna get the gold dress," I smiled and looked at my reflection.
"I don't know I just love it, I feel like I don't know Bassett or something."
"You do look like her you know?" Alek questioned.
"I do?"
"Yes. Strawberry blonde hair, your face, and just you, you look alike."
"Thank you?"
"Well you ruined the moment."
"Shut up yeah?" I suggested.
"Oh so scared! Little Mai girls gonna come after me in a dress," Alek mocked.
"Mock all you want but just know I'll get you back, watch it," I smirked.
"Just go get changed Miss. Uniter," Alek said bowing his head as he opened the changing room door.
"Thank you," I held out the skirt and curtsied. Once I was back into my black jeans, my black with gray writing that said 'death only makes you stronger' loose shirt and my dark red fake leather jacket I walked out of the dressing room with my dress in hand.
"Okay, now shall we go pay?" Alek asked.
"We shall Mr. Petrov," I giggled. We walked up to the counter and there stood an old lady, she had white hair and she smiled at us.
"Hello," she said as we walked up.
"Hi, how are you?"
"I'm good but I saw you two dancing and I wanted to say that you make an adorable couple. Are you engaged, you act like me and my husband did when we were engaged."
"No ma'am we're not engaged," I say blushing.
"But I plan on getting engaged with you Chlo," Alek looked at me.
"You really love her don't you?" the woman asked.
"Yeah, yeah I do," he replied.
"Well what are you waiting for? Ask her to marry you."
"Ma'am not to be disrespectful but she's only sixteen and I'm only seventeen, I think we may be a little too young."
"You said you loved her right?" Alek nodded, "And you love him?"
"I do, more then anything in the world," I smiled at her.
"Then you're not too young."
"Thank you," I said to her.
"You're welcome and by the way you look stunning in this dress, have a nice day now."
"You too," I told the woman. Before we walked out of the store, Alek's hand on my lower back.
"So you want to marry me?" I teased.
Alek blushed,"Y-yeah. I-I mean-n if yo-you want too. We don-don't have too. I mean- uh," he stuttered.
"Sh I'd love too." He leaned down and kissed my cheek; I simply smiled and closed my eyes.
"Now lets go and pack your stuff," he smiled down at me.
*Time skip, on the plane on way to New York*
"We should be arriving to New York City in approximately two and a half hours, thank you for flying US Airlines," a voice said and woke me up. I sat up took my head off of Alek's shoulder and looked around. I suddenly remembered I was on a plane… leaving the only place I'd ever known for over three weeks… oh joy.
"Chloe," Alek whispered in my ear, "are you okay?"
"Hm yeah I'm just thinking," I smiled at him.
"About?"
"How happy I am to start fresh."
"Why are you happy to start fresh?"
"Because that means no more lying all the time."
"You are a pretty awful lair," he laughed.
"I'm not that bad," I pouted.
"Shall I bring up the incident where your mother found me lying on your bed and thought we were sleeping together?"
"No no you should not."
"You sure? It was pretty damn funny," he laughed.
"Yeah she called you bedboy for a while after that," I smiled.
"Really?"
"Yeah," I couldn't help but chuckle, "I guess thinking about her isn't all that bad."
"Thats the reason I have pictures of my parents, because yes it hurts but I like to remember the good, don't you?"
"Yeah, yeah I do. Anyways moving onto a different subject, what's this ball for?"
"For you kitten," he kissed my nose.
"For me? Why?"
"To introduce the Uniter. I warn you, all guys are going to want to date you. not because they like you for you though, because they want to date the Uniter," he sternly looked at me.
"I don't care if they were a prince I already have the prince I need," I leaned up and kissed him, he soon kissed back. After that we both decided that was enough conversation for now and listened to music, slowing falling asleep again.
