Chapter 8
And when we met you...
By Flaxen-Hearts
Hi guys! I'm back! I guess I have a few things to tell you guys. I don't really know how to say them. First of all, I am leaving the Pretty Little Liars fan community. Nothing happened, its not anything anyone has done, but I've just lost interest. I will say however, that this fandom has been so much to me. It has inspired me to no end, and brought me to some really amazing people. It brought me to all of you reading this, who are all amazing people, don't doubt that. I've basically grown up with this fandom, so its really hard to leave you guys. But it is something I have to do for myself.
This community has brought me to so many opportunities and given me so much courage and confidence. I was 11 when I started writing my first PLL fanfiction, and its been such an amazing four years. I wouldn't be who I am today without you guys. So thank you so much.
For those of you who have realized that I took down Gods and Monsters and Call it Karma, along with All The Things she said. I did that because all three stories had to deal with Rape. I just couldn't justify that, not with Rape Culture the way it is now. That's all I'm going to say on the matter.
I am going to be doing Nanowrimo this year in November, if you don't know what that is then look it up. Basically its going to be absolute hell for me because I am really lazy, I will be starting High School in September and I'm going to be really busy, I don't know how exactly I'm going to pull it off but I will. If anyone would be willing to Beta for me that would be awesome and I'd love you forever, if your interested you could PM me and I'll get back to you. If you are doing Nanowrimo, contact me because I would love to help as much as I can! Lets do this together! Nuff said.
For those of you who would like to continue to read my work I will be publishing under the following categories:
Harry Potter: The Marauders. James Potter, Remus Lupin, Sirius Black, and Peter Pettigrew.
Les Miserables: Eponine/Cosette, Enjolras/Grantaire
Kingdom Hearts: Soriku, Akudemy, Marvex(411)
Death Note: Matt/Mello
L4D2: NELLIS!(Because I just ship them so fucking hard)

And I believe that's it.
Fandoms I haven't confirmed writing for:

Amnesia: The Dark Descent
"Thank you for meeting with us. We will be in touch with you. Goodbye." Spencer said as she waved goodbye to the couple that was heading out of the Hastings driveway. She placed her head in her hands and sighed.
"Not what you were expecting?" Toby asked.
"I thought it would be easier than this. No one seems good enough."
"Maybe they aren't good enough Spencer. Maybe we should keep her."
"We aren't good enough for her either Toby! She deserves better."
"You have to make the decision Spence. I can only support you."
"I know."
"So, who else are we meeting with today?"
Spencer looked at the sheet in her hand.
"Uh, the Jarvis couple. They have two other adopted children. The mother, Arian, can't have children naturally. Like so many others."
"They look nice." Toby said, looking at a picture of a smiling family in their front lawn, a white picket fence behind them, encasing their house.
"Yeah."
They were interrupted from their thoughts as a knock came from the front door. Toby got up from the stool he was sitting in and let the couple in.
"Hello! I am Mark Jarvis, this is my wife Arian."
"Hi, I'm Spencer Hastings. This is my boyfriend Toby."
"So, what would you like to know about us?"
"Where do you two work?"
"Mark works for a tax collecting agency and I work as a guidance counselor in our local high school."
"Your yearly income?"
"For both of us combined, probably about $150,00."
The conversation went on for about 2 hours. Until Mark and Arian took their leave.
"I like them. A lot." Spencer said as she closed the door.
"Do you think they could be the ones?"
"Yeah, I really do."
"We should get to bed. It's late. We will call them tomorrow okay?"
"Yeah!"
"Are you serious?" Arian asked in shock when Toby and Spencer told her of their decision.
"Yes. We are serious."
"That's wonderful! Thank you so much!"
"Thank you as well. Of course, there are something's we would like to discuss."
"Like what?"
"Well, now that we know you will be parenting our child, we want you to know the gender. We also would like to discuss naming." Toby said.
"We are having a girl." Spencer said.
"Thank you for telling us." Arian said.
"Arian and I have been thinking about naming as well. And we have decided that we want the birth parents to name her." Mark said.
"Could we have a few days to think about names then?"
"Of course."
Spencer woke in the middle of the night with a start. A wetness between her legs let the 18 year old know what had woke her. She grabbed Toby's arm and shook him awake.
"Toby! Toby my water just broke."
"What? WHAT!" Toby yelled, he shot from the bed and grabbed Spencer's hospital bag. He then helped her out of bed and down the stairs. When they got into his car he handed her his phone.
"Call Arian and Mark." He ordered.
She did.
"Hello? Arian? Hi, this is Spencer. My water just broke. She's on her way."
A pregnant pause went by before Spencer spoke again.
"Yeah. Yeah. Okay, We will call you when we are at the hospital. Okay, bye."
Spencer hung up.
"They are on their way."
"Just one more push Spence! C'mon baby!" Toby encouraged Spencer as she cried. Her face contorted and suddenly a child's screams filled the room.
"My baby girl!" Arian cried out. Spencer looked up at Toby, Toby just nodded to her and kissed her forehead.
The doctor handed the small baby to Arian, who rocked her silently and stroked her cheek for a moment before looking at Spencer.
"Would you like to hold her?"
"Could I?"
She handed the baby to Spencer.
The small girl in Spencer's arms was stunning. She looked up at the teenager with large blue eyes. Her light olive toned skin complimented by light brown hair seemed to glow.
"Ma'am, we need a name for the child." The doctor announced. Spencer looked up at Toby.
"Caitlin Mae Jarvis."
Spencer didn't cry as she handed Caitlin to her new family.
And neither did Caitlin.
