Author's Note: I am so sorry for not updating, life has been hectic and school, and between Personal Project, school and family, I haven't had that much time to write fanfics. But I got Tumblr, so if anyone wants to follow me there, just put potternerd8 before . I've also been suffering from writer's block, but I'm back, and reading Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire for the eleventh time as a part of my Personal Project, which inspired this drabble. I apologise if this isn't an amazing piece of work, because it was more so to help me get back into writing. I read a lot of Fanfics though.
I don't own Harry Potter, Siriusly, I'm not the amazing Joanne Rowling, but I would love to have her writing skills. I don't get any profit from Harry Potter or anything affiliated, I'm just borrowing the characters and filling in my idea of something that happened for entertainment purposes.
The atmosphere of the Weasley household had changed drastically since the Quidditch World Cup. Fred and George were still making products behind their mother's back, however security was tighter, Arthur and Percy were hardly ever seen because of the fiasco at the World Cup. It was the morning after having had returned from the World Cup, via. Portkey, and Ginny, Harry, Hermione, Bill, Charlie and Ronald were asleep whilst Molly started to prepare breakfast. Fred and George created some product to replace what Molly had taken prior to their departure, and Percy and Arthur had gone to the Ministry to try to sort out arrangements and to clean up after the Death Eater attack.
As the hours of the morning went on Bill and Charlie left to go play Quidditch or something and everyone came downstairs for breakfast one by one, the food laying on the table consisted of: Bacon, fried eggs, toast, cereal and of course more bacon.
You, had you have been there could've literally felt the stress in the air, between Mr, Weasley's hours at the Ministry, security measures, Percy and Hermione's frequent fights over elfish rights, and the enslavement of magical creatures and the impending school year, the Burrow was a busy household, something was always happening at one point in time. As the days had gone by, Hedwig's absence was elongated and the trio; Harry, Ron and Hermione, couldn't help but wonder where Sirius Black was in the world and if Hedwig had even delivered the letter to Sirius in the first place.
Ronald, Harry, Hermione and Ginny came down the stairs and seated themselves at the table in the kitchen, helping themselves as Mrs. Weasley encouraged Harry and Hermione to eat seconds and thirds of their breakfast, complaining that they were far too thin. Ron of course ate at least half of his plate in bacon, prior to trying to start packing for the impending school year ahead. If only they had known what was going to happen that year…
Author's Note: So, I will update before my birthday, and reviews and favourites mean the world to me.
