A/N After a week break, I am back! I know that it has been a long time since I have updated. I apologize, but now that I have completed the outline for this story, I may continue.

Enjoy!

"Momma."

The word was music to her ears. Her son, in her arms looking up at her. She couldn't help but smile down at the boy, a boy she loved and cared for ten wonderful years. A boy who had forgotten her. A boy with a small smudge of her deep red lipstick stained on his forehead. She moved her hand in to her sleeve and rubbed on his forehead to remove the stain.

She then stared down awestruck at her son. She had become so happy all in that moment, a sense of motherly love washing over her all at once. This feeling had left her speechless to do nothing but run her finger's through her adopted son's hair.

"Momma? Are you okay?" Henry asked her as he watched Regina smiling down on him. From behind, Emma poked into his field of vision. She placed a hand on Regina's shoulder.

She smiled and shook her head. "No, I am just so happy right now." Henry sat up quickly and wrapped his hands around her neck. She moved her hands around his smaller body. He was much larger then she remembered. "How are you feeling."

"I am a bit confused. Last I remember of you was..." He paused for a moment to let his foggy memories clear up. "You disappeared into the cloud of smoke to stop Pan's curse. How are you back here?"

"You remember Anton, right?"

"Yeah, he was the giant that tried to kill gramps that one time back in Storybrooke cause he thought that he was James right?"

Regina nodded. "Yes. He found a way to duplicate a shriveled up bean we found among Rumpelstiltskin's things. It had no use in that form, but he knew how to produce new ones using something he took from the inside. There was not enough time to grow many, only one was ready to use. Snow was going to come here and get back your memories, however since she was pregnant, I volunteered."

"You volunteered?" Henry questioned. Regina nodded. Henry stat up a little straighter to make himself taller and cupped his hands around his mouth by her ears. "You love her don't you?" Henry whispered.

Regina, unknowingly blushing, moved slightly away from Henry. "I think so, but I am starting to have doubts."

To her surprise, Henry's face lit up. "I am glad." He then looked to Emma and held out his arms. "Can you help me up?"

Emma took his hands am pulled him up from the ground. He slowly released her hands and walked around a little bit to regain balance. "Hey, slow down kid!"

"I am fine! But I am kinda hungry..."

"We don't have much food in the house." Henry cocked his head. "The usual place."

"Yep!"

Emma turned to Regina. "Have you ever had New York pizza before?"

Regina felt overdressed. Looking around at all the other customer's in this restaurant dressed in jeans and tee shirts, she felt out of place with her blouse, pencil skirt, and heals. Miss. Swan didn't seem to mind. Actually, she seemed to like it, Regina occasionally catching her gaze as she took a sip of her unsweetened ice tea. Emma would always look straight down to her glass of diet coke and take a short drink. Henry sat in the booth on Emma's side, is gaze fixed on the new fighting game he had downloaded on his iphone, to preoccupied to notice the strange tension building between his mothers.

That tension suddenly broke when a waitress set down a black plastic basket with a thin sheet of checkered wax paper down between them. Henry immediately turned off the game a quickly took what she could now see was a french fry out of the basket. Both Henry and Emma continued to stuff their faces with french fries for the next two minutes before Henry said something. "Hey, Momma, want a fry?" He asked holding out a french fry to her.

"No, no. I am fine."

Emma looked up suspiciously. "Why not, I thought you said you were hungry."

"Well, yes I am-"

"So take one!" Emma said pushing the basket toward Regina.

Regina looked down on the basket with uncertainty and pushed it back to the others "No, I am fine."

"What? Every one like fries!"

"Well I don't."

Emma slammed her fists down on the table. "What do you mean you don't like fries!" Regina's eyes widened in shock. "That is like saying you don't like bacon. Or chocolate! To say that, you must have never even tried one before."

Regina looked down to her iced tea and stirred it slowly with the straw. "Well, no I don't believe I have." Regina pulled up the straw out of her cup to take a sip, but instead she found a french fry being forced into her mouth by Emma. She reluctantly chewed and swallowed it slowly. "Miss Swan!" Henry started to laugh in the background. "That was completely uncalled for!"

"But did you like it."

Regina slowly moved her hand to the basket and pulled another fry out from the top layer. She moved it to her mouth and took a bite of it, chewed it, and the stuck the rest of the remaining half into her mouth. She then picked up her napkin and wiped her fingers to get rid of the salt and grease left behind. "Well, I guess I did like them to some extent." Emma squinted at Regina and cocked her head. Regina rolled her eyes and took another fry from the basket. "Fine! I love it."

Emma turned to Henry and gave him a high-five. "Congratulations Regina! You have taken yet another step on become an average citizen of our world." Emma remarked.

"Oh, shut up Miss Swan!"

After their dinner, they stopped off at Regina's hotel room. She picked up her things and checked out of the hotel. Emma loaded her suit case into the trunk of her VW Bug and drove back to the Swan family apartment. Once their, Emma took a set of spare sheets from the closet and put them on top of the couch cutions. "Sorry I don't have anywhere else for you to sleep tonight. You gifted me with memories, but unfortunately not the intelligence to buy an apartment with a spare bedroom."

"Oh, I, I don't mind." But I would rather share a bed with you. Regina scolded herself for even bringing these thoughts to mind. "I will be fine for the night. And tomorrow, we shall go to Storybrooke with me and we can defeat Zelena."

"We? Who said anything about we?"

"I did." Emma raised an eyebrow. "What! Did you expect that if I could have defeated her by myself, we would even have this problem right now? No! I need a person with magical skill to help me."

"Me?"

"Oh, Miss Swan, you have no idea what kind of potential you have. You could be one of the best there ever was. Not as good as me... but still."

"So, you want to teach me magic?"

"Yes." Regina reached into her suitcase and pulled out a book with a red ruby heart glued upon it's cover. "This holds the key to your magical success."

"Wait! We are starting now?"

"Fine. We will start in two days time." Regina grunted throwing the book back into her suitcase. "For now, I must retire. I am getting quite sleepy."

Emma shook her head at Regina's rather regal sentence structure. "What ever you say. G'night Regina."

"Sleep well Emma."

Emma woke to a knocking at the door. She flicked on the back lighting to her cell phone and shined it at the door. "Hello?"

"It's me." Regina called from the outside.

Emma slid out of bed and opened the door. "What is wrong?"

"I, can't sleep."

"Why not. Is everything alright?"

Regina slowly walked to Emma and wrapped her arms around her. Emma, surprised by Regina's actions, slowly put her arms around Regina. "I am scared."

"I thought you were never scared."

"I know, it is stupid, but I know she will do whatever it take to seem me loose everything, which could mean you. Or Henry. Myself... But we have to go back or she will kill, everyone you love! I can't let that happen!"

Emma felt one of Regina's tears land on her shoulder. "Regina, don't cry." Emma slid her fingers into Regina's hair and held her closer. "You are a strong woman Regina. Please, just don't cry." Regina slowly started to weep into Emma's shoulder. "You are so cold."

Emma slowly led Regina to her bed. "I am being so stupid!" Regina scolded herself as more tears fell from her eyes.

"No you are not." Emma moved the blankets over top of Regina's body.

"I don't think we should take Henry."

"He is going to want to come."

"I don't care. He needs to be safe."

Emma smiled. "I will see what I can do."

Regina wrapped her hands around Emma's neck. "Thank you." She slowly released her hug around Emma, but kept her arms around her neck. Their eyes locked into each other's and then they slowly moved together and joined in a kiss. Regina backed up as far as she could, her back up against Emma's head board as they continued their kiss.

Boldly, Emma released the kiss and started to kiss her in various other places; jaw, cheek, neck, shoulder. "Emma, what are you doing."

"Do you want me to stop?" Emma questioned.

"No. Please continue. I..."

Emma pushed the straps of Regina's tank top off of her shoulder. "You deserve to feel better Regina. I think that, that I finally understand what I feel for you. Will you, allow me to show you?"

"Please."
