She looked up into her husband's eyes, they shone bright red with humor she wondered just what went through his mind at that moment. He chuckled the sound vibrating throughout her body and she shivered "You look beautiful Mrs. Evans." He murmured into her ear she laughed lightly "I still have to get used to that." He cocked his head to the side "What? Being called Mrs. Evans?" she nodded grinning up at him there was no way she could deny that she loved the sound of it she was Maka Evans now, and there wasn't anyone else she would rather be. Her dress twirled around her as he spun her around, drawing cheers from the guests, it had been a small wedding compared to the enormous one Soul had wanted to throw but she had talked him out of it (thank God!) and they had settled for something small and quiet only family and friends attended the ceremony. It had been beautiful the chemistry that flowed from the bride and groom was tangible and everyone was swept up in the euphoria they wrapped themselves with.

They danced close and slow letting the music lead, pretty soon the dance floor filled with couples slow dancing and Maka smiled laying her head on her husband's chest. She felt complete after so many years of being alone she no longer feared love as she had before he'd changed her and made her stronger and for that she thanked him everyday. Black Star smiled at her as Soul whirled them in a circle and she smiled back Star was the best not-brother she'd ever had and she'd have to thank him for being there for her when she needed someone to lean on. Tsubaki nodded to her from Star's embrace and Maka nodded back a sign they had agreed on before the wedding, they had a surprise for everyone at the wedding, more for Soul than anyone though. After the dance Tsubaki, much to Soul's and Star's surprise made their way to the small stage provided by the reception hall. Everyone watched as the two women took up their positions, Liz accompanied them standing behind Maka, her violin poised and ready, Tsubaki sat at the piano looking calm and relaxed as if it were a normal everyday thing. Maka took a deep breath and then began:

Sweet love, sweet love
Trapped in your love
I've opened up, unsure I can trust
My heart and I were buried in dust
Free me, free us
You're all I need when I'm holding you tight
If you walk away I will suffer tonight

I found a man I can trust
and boy, I believe in us
I am terrified to love for the first time
Can you see that I'm bound in chains?
I've finally found my way

I am bound to you
I am bound to you

So much, so young, I've faced on my own
Walls I built up became my home
I'm strong and I'm sure there's a fire in us
Sweet love, so pure
I catch my breath with just one beating heart
And I embrace myself, please don't tear this apart

I found a man I can trust
And boy, I believe in us
I am terrified to love for the first time
Can't you see that I'm bound in chains?
I've finally found my way

I am bound to you
I am bound to

Suddenly the moment's here
I embrace my fears
All that I have been carrying all these years
Do I risk it all? Come this far just to fall?
Fall

I can trust and boy, I believe in us
I am terrified to love for the first time
Can you see that I'm bound in chains?
And finally found my way

I am bound to you
I am, ooh I am
I'm bound to you

She looked into the crowd looking for the one person she had dedicated this song to, her heart skipped a beat as she met the ruby red of her husband his grin and slight blush made her smile back. Tsubaki and Liz hugged her as they made their way down the stairs of the stage. Maka followed and squealed when instead of touching the ground she was lifted off her feet and swung around, Soul's laughter reverberating through her. Maka leaned down and place a soft kiss to his lips, the hall erupted in cheers and catcalls. "I love you Maka." Soul whispered against her mouth and she grinned "I love you too." She had found someone she could be herself with, someone who loved her for who she was no matter how broken and abused she was he made her feel something no one else ever could. Maka smiled leaning against Soul's chest she was no longer alone, she was no longer unloved.
