Me-...okay...anyway, who does the disclaimer?

Me- So on with the story!
Why Green? Chapter 2, A Trip On A Ship
Drew's POV
'Will I ever see her again?' I wondered as I walked on the ship.
The last time I saw her was when I told her that I'll be heading to the Johto region.
Back then she also said that the next time we'll meet, she'll show me her new battling style that was hers and only hers.
I just decided to take those words as a promise that we'll meet again, but when?
In a year? Or in two?
The thought of not seeing her for such a long time disappointed me.
If Harley hadn't show up behind us, I would've asked her to come to Johto with me, but maybe I wouldn't have had the courage to do so anyway, but still, I stayed in Kanto for quite some time now, hoping I'll see her again, and hoping to get to ask her to come along to Johto.
But I realized it was pointless, possibly she isn't even in Kanto anymore and went off to another region with that Ash-kid.
I went to my room and tried to shrug off those thoughts.
I told myself it was only a crush, my first crush.
'A first crush is never meant to last', I told myself.
'I'll find someone else,' I told myself.
But it didn't work.
Then I went to the cafeteria to focus on something none-May-related.
As I walked in I saw a girl eating bowl after bowl of Ramen.
She reminded me a lot of May, she even wore an orange bandana.
As I took a close look I realized it was actually May.
My face brightened up and a smile spread across my lips.
But why was she on a ship to Johto?
I decided it was time to find out, so I walked towards her.
''You never run out of hunger now do you?'' I asked her teasingly.
She turned around, completely ignoring the fact I just teased her she greeted me with a, ''Hey Drew!'' and a smile.
''What are you doing on a ship to Johto? And where are the others?'' I asked her.
''We parted ways. Remember our last encounter?'' she asked.
I nodded, she had no idea how well I remember, after all it was all I could think of for the past few weeks.
''I want to become more independent. I can't rely on my friends for my whole life. Also I need to find my own battling style instead of just copying Ash's, and since all my rivals went to Johto I decided to do so too'' she finished her story and I nodded understandingly.
I couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed at her story, even though she was here, and that was all I was wishing for lately, as I saw her on the ship I hoped she decided to come to Johto because of me, but I guess that would be too much I'm asking for.
''But Drew,'' she cut me out of my thoughts.
''Hm?''I replied.
''Didn't you leave already weeks ago to Johto?'' she asked me.
''Yeah, but I couldn't leave till now, I had some business to take care of,'' I replied hoping she wouldn't ask what kind of business, surely I wasn't going to tell her that I hoped for her to turn up out of the blue and come along with me to Johto.
''Oh,'' she said plainly.
''Mind sharing?'' I asked her trying to change the topic.
''Huh? What do you mean?'' she replied with that adorable-confused look on her face.
I pointed to all her bowls, some of them were still filled with ramen.
''You weren't planning on eating them all by yourself, were you?'' I asked already knowing the response.
''Well I actually wanted to eat them all by myself but you can have one I guess,'' she said and handed me a bowl of noodles.
''Thanks,'' I thanked her.
We stayed there for a while eating and casually talking.
After we finished eating we walked out of the restaurant.
''What now?'' she asked.
''Huh? What do you mean?'' I asked her.
''What should we do now?'' she asked.
''Don't know, want to go for a walk?'' I asked her.
''Sure,'' she said happily and dragged me outside.
It was already dark, and it was pretty windy.
''May, I think we should go in again, it's pretty windy besides it's already dark'' I said.
''But?'' she started and looked to the sky. ''The view is amazing, look!'' she continued and pointed at the view in front of us and it was indeed amazing, it was a full moon night, the stars were shining in the sky and the sea looked beautiful.
I looked at May, her eyes were fascinated by the stars, she was smiling widely and the wind was blowing her hair back. I couldn't help but smile myself as I looked at her, to me her eyes were shinning brighter than any star ever could, and she looked beautiful in the moonlight.
Suddenly it became a lot windier and the wind blew her orange bandana away.
''Oh no!'' May cried as she tried to catch her bandana but she didn't managed to do so and her bandana landed on the sea.
Then her eyes didn't shine bright anymore, instead she had a sad look in her eyes and she turned around and walked towards the cabins.
''May are you alright?'' I asked her.
''Huh? Oh yeah, I'm just tired, goodnight Drew!'' she said and walked off to her cabin.
It was obvious to me that she was sad, I didn't like it at all to see her sad like that.
I walked around the ship, thinking on how I could lighten up her mood again, as I walked past a clothes store.
I wondered if they sell bandanas, so I went in and looked around.
Finally I found a few bandanas, but only a green one and a blue one, none orange bandana.
I decided to buy it for her anyway. 'It's better than nothing' I thought.
After buying the green bandana I went to her cabin and knocked at her door.
''May? Are you still awake?'' I asked through the door, as I didn't get a reply I decided to go to sleep and give her the bandana tomorrow when we'll reach Johto and went to my cabin to get some sleep.
~ The next morning~
I woke up early today and went to get some breakfast, sadly I didn't see May at the cafeteria, so I went to her cabin and knocked on the door, but I got no reply.
''Attention please passengers, we'll be arriving in a couple of minutes at Olivine City,'' I heard the captain say through the speakers, so I went to my room and got ready to leave the ship, I'll see May eventually when we'll leave the ship.
After a few minutes we arrived at Johto and I was off the ship now, looking for May, as I finally spotted her.
''May!'' I called out for her, she turned around.
''Hey Drew!'' she greeted me and walked over to me.
''We finally arrived at Johto, good luck with your journey and finding your own battling style,'' I said.
''Thanks Drew, take care!'' She said and turned around. She was about to leave as I said, ''May wait!''
''What's the matter Drew?'' she asked.
''I got this for you,'' I said as I pulled out the green bandana I bought for her yesterday.
''It isn't an orange one but there were only a green one and a blue one so I bought this one for you,'' I said.
''Thank you Drew!'' she said happily and smiled. I handed her the bandana and she tried to put it on.
''Let me help you,'' I offered her my help as took the bandana and tied it around her head.
''Thank you,'' she thanked me.
''Do you have any plans were you are heading next?'' I asked her.
''Not yet,'' she admitted.
''You know there will be a contest soon in Ecruteak City , it isn't far from her, you should take part,'' I recommended her.
''Are you going to compete in that contest too?'' she asked me.
''Nah, first I need to catch a new Pokémon,'' I told her.
''Then I guess, I'll see ya around,'' she said.
''Yeah,'' I said and turned around, then I started to walk away.
''I'll see ya soon Drew! Thanks for the bandana again!'' I heard her say.
As I walked away I thought, 'May, I hope whenever you'll look at your new bandana you'll think of me'
Me- Woo hoo it's finally done!
