A/n: Hi guys! Thank you for your replies and sorry if the last chappy seemed a bit rushed. I hope you will like this chapter more! Enjoy~

Roxas opened his ocean blue eyes and glared around the cave. He was sleeping in Cloud's old cave, since he was now alpha. Tifa was sleeping near the door with a few other females, and Cid was sleeping beside Roxas. After the group had got home gossip about Sora spread like wild fire, and Roxas was soon tired of it. The clan never spoke of him now in fear of their King's rage.

Roxas hauled himself up onto his now very large black paws, he padded outside of the cave, not waking a single soul, but even if he did, he didn't care, he was King. Roxas stopped at the sleeping body of "His mate", she was asleep, her pale belly rising and falling at a steady rate. Roxas hated her with a passion… He could just kill her now… Namine stirred as Roxas lifted a black paw. He turned and walked away before her blue eyes opened. "Roxas?" She asked her voice dazed after just waking up. Roxas turned around and growled," Go back to sleep."

Roxas didn't move until he was sure she was asleep. He strolled quietly towards the border and stopped a little short of the bridge. The land across was lush and green, and the land Roxas was in was dark and gloomy, the ground stained dark red. The sun was barley inching above the horizon, but it was just high enough for Roxas to see a flash of bright fire red, it leaped easily across the river with ease, not even needing the bridge. Roxas turned and got a better look of the lion, who didn't seem to see him. The lion was burnt brown with a flaming mane and piercing sea green eyes. The lion seemed to stand there for a moment, thinking over whatever he was about to do.

While the lion had been thinking, Roxas had slowly and quietly snuck over without him knowing. Before Roxas reached him though, the lion started to walk to the Outcast Camp. Roxas decided to follow him, instead of stopping him, to see what he was up to. Soon the lion reached the camp, the other lions where awake and where lounging around. When they spotted their visitor they surrounded him, Namine and Tifa leading. Namine stepped forward and growled," What are YOU doing here?!"

The red lion stoop strait up, looming over Namine," I'm here to see you're King, got it memorized."

"Too bad for you, he's out," Namine sneered at the lion, but froze when Roxas revealed himself.

"You're here to see me?" Roxas asked the lion. The lion turned around and looked at Roxas," I'm here to join."

-…-

Sora woke up with a yawn, yesterday had been depressing, the look on Roxas's face when he figured out Sora wasn't dead, the fact that Tifa, his own mother, didn't even care about him. The cave around him was empty save for Kairi and himself. The sun outside was almost fully above the horizon. Riku soon walked in, his silver feet dragging against the stone floor. The silver lion plopped down roughly beside Sora, heaving a sigh. Sora looked over to Riku," Something wrong?"

Riku opened his eyes," It's nothing, sorry if I woke you up."

Sora smiled," I was awake."

"You two need to shut it and go back to sleep." Kairi muttered, making the other boys snicker.

-Enter Demyx-

Demyx sighed and stretch out in the low stretch of water. He hummed a low tune…

"I will never be afraid again
I will keep on falling till the end
I can walk on water I can fly
I will keep on fighting till I die."

The water lapped lazily around his spotted paw. He snorted laughing at himself, a cheetah amongst lions. They were all big cats none the less, but it was still strange. His clear blue eyes gazed across the water and settled on a dense forest that was on the edge of the pride lands. The pride never entered the forest but Demyx did sometimes. It was nice and cool in the summer and despite the fact he's rather be in the water there was someone in that forest that he wanted to see.

The cheetah padded over and gracefully leapt onto a tree climbing a ways up it and using the branches as a walking path, which was easy because of how thick the branches where and how close the trees where. Soon, the branches lead him to a nest that rested in the tree. There where pelts of all kinds lying on top of leaves that cushioned the nest. In the nest, sleeping silently was a slate colored panther. His side rose and fell slowly as Demyx slid into the nest with him. The panther shifted, giving more room for the cheetah. Demyx smiled as the panther opened his dark blue eyes, and gazed sleepily up at him.

"Demyx…" His voice was quiet and Demyx barely heard it. The cheetah smiled down at the panther," Shh.. Go back to sleep Zexion." The panther did as he was told and fell back asleep beside Demyx.

-…-

Roxas stood shocked before the lion. "Why would you want to join?" He asked looking skeptical at the red lion.

"Someone I love his here and I want to be with them." The lion replied, looking down at Roxas. Roxas looked away," In order to join, you have to kill the lion you want to take the place of..."

The red lion's eyes gleamed with humor and joy," So any lion I kill I can take the place of?" As soon as Roxas nodded, Mr. Red-Lion leapt out at Namine, who reared up in shock, batting at him but failing. The lion pinned the lioness to the ground, pristine claws digging into her shoulders making her howl in pain. She tried to shake him off but failed miserably. The red lion smirked and lifted his large burnt brown paw, swiping it down, clawing out her throat.

Roxas back up in shock, finally realizing why this lion looked so familiar," Axel…."

The red lion turned around to look at him, licking blood off his muzzle and paws. Axel smirked and turned his gaze to look at the others of the pack. They all stood looking horrified, though it wasn't uncommon for male lions to like others, they didn't understand why this unknown lion would come all the way to kill the mate the previous king hand-picked for his son. They also didn't understand why their current king just stood there.

"So am I in?" Axel asked looking at Roxas. Roxas turned away walking into his cave, only to turn his head around, and then he finally spoke," Of course."

-…-

Riku sighed, frustrated, he hadn't see Axel, his best friend, since two days ago, and now Demyx had disappeared as well. Plus, Riku and Sora had to accompany Riku's dad, Sephiroth, to a meeting with the outcasts to discuss peace treaties. Sora, was also unnerved by their friends disappearances, his blue eyes full of worry. Riku brushed his pelt against Sora's brown one in reassurance, also knowing he was nerves about seeing his brother again.

Riku pulled away when they got close to the bridge, the outcasts already there waiting. Riku froze when he saw a familiar face amongst them. "Axel," He muttered and speeds up a bit to catch up. Sora seemed to see the red lion as well and faltered for a moment before continuing. They stopped at the edge of the bridge, Roxas and Sephiroth going across to meet in the middle. Sephiroth look at Axel and nodded his head in greeting, and the red lion did the same back. The two kings then sat down on the bridge and started discussing. Zack, Sephiroth's mate sat closer to the bridge, looking up at his king. Same with Axel, but instead he had a look of boredom and didn't look like he was paying attention to much. Instead, he was looking at Riku, the two having a silent discussion. Roxas's mother was a little behind; glaring at Axel's back, seething with hate.

Roxas looked at Sephiroth, he knew he could trust him more that Cloud could but he also knew that this was Sephiroth, not Sora, Axel, or even Riku. Roxas could only trust this man to a certain extent, and using this information the black lion had been able to get hunting rights near Destiny Cove. Then soon after, the pack left, saying their good byes.

-…-

Demyx stretched his stomach full of fresh meat; he had been hunting with Zexion and the two had caught a pretty good sized buck. Zexion pouted at Demyx when the cheetah had told him that he had to go back to the pride soon. Demyx hated to leave the panther, but none the less he had too.

Demyx left, Zexion following him to the edge of the forest. Demyx began singing another song, his voice smug with happiness.

"When you walk away

You don't hear me say

"Please, oh baby, don't go."

Simple and clean is the way that you're making me feel tonight

It's hard to let it go

You're giving me too many things

Lately you're all I need

You smiled at me and said-"

Demyx cut off when he got to the main cave and heard hushed talking.

"No one must tell Riku or his friend. They won't be happy with what we are going to do." Demyx stiffened at the names of his friends but kept hidden. "When the hunting party from the outcast comes, we will surround them and no doubt will the king be there, as soon as we murder him the pack should break off. No one will touch Axel, if he happens to be there. His infiltration was a success; little does he know that's why I let him leave." That voice sounded so familiar but Demyx couldn't place it, and the subject about Axel leaving did not shock the cheetah, since he was the one Axel confronted about loving Roxas. "It will be tomorrow, I want lions to be there ready to surround those outcasts.

-…-

"Riku!" Riku was jolted awake by the sound of his name, and lifted his head just in time to see Demyx drift into the cave. "Seph is planning on killing Roxas!" Those words jumped Riku awake fully, Sora jumping up at the silver lions side, face full of horror.

"We have to stop him!" Sora shouted, shacking with rage.

Riku looked over to his brown friend. "We will." Riku vowed, if Roxas died, it would hurt Sora beyond repair. No way did Riku want to see him, his love, that way. Riku turned his determined gaze to Demyx. "What time?"

"He'll have lions waiting at the spot by Destiny Cove all day till they arrive and then he'll surround and kill them." Demyx shook.

Riku looked down at Sora. "I need you to do me a favor"
