I don't own Harry Potter.

Jane laid on her bed tears tracing down her pale cheeks. She bit her bottom lip tasting the blood on her tongue feeling the pain as the pictures of Cedric dying flashed through her mind as the sound of Voldemort's laugh taunted her. Her parents ghostly shapes haunted her. "Run, Run." The shouted in her mind.

"Ugg." She screamed. Throwing the pillow that had been under her head at the door. Tears now pouring liberally down her cheeks. She went to the door intending to pick up the pillow but as she bent down to pick it up she let it fall threw her fingers again. As she slide down against the door blinded by the tears she pulled her knees to her chest and let all of her emotions out all the emotions she'd been holding in her whole life all the emotions from people telling her she wasn't good enough, too young. A girl, that this wasn' her fight. But it was it was her fight it was her fight more then it was anyone's. it was her that Voldemort wanted it was her that Voldemort was going to attack any chance he got. She was the top of that list and she didn't see getting knocked down any time soon. She looked up shook her head and stood up straight brushing her tears from her eyes. There was no time for tears no time for crying.

Unknown to her Percy was standing outside the door his hand raised and then fell as he tried to get the courage too knock. He'd heard her cries and wanted to rush in but he thought of what Ron had said. She'd fought Voldemort saved Ginny watched people die. He always knew she wasn't a normal fourteen year old but it wasn't until know that he really allowed himself to think of what she had went through in her life. he finally knocked. The hard wood under his knuckles. He almost turned away when the door didn't open after five minuets he almost went back to his room. Almost but just as he went to turn back. The door swung open and she stood in front of him. Red hair a halo around her pale face. Green eyes flashing.

"What." She snapped.

"Are you okay." He asked gently. That wasn't the best move on his part because it just made her angry.

"NO Percy I'm not okay. I'm never okay because every time I close my eyes I see death and every time I let my mind wonder I hear dead people or hear Voldemort but you know everyone thinks I'm too young to be in the Order well you know what That's it I'm through I want nothing else to do with you're your precious order. You want to fight Voldemort fine but I'm done." With that she whirled back around and slammed the door behind her.

"Idiot." Percy turned around too see Ron leaning against the door across the hall. "I told you too leave her alone couldn't even listen once could you good going Percival you've really done it this time." Ron stalked past his older brother and knocked on the door. "Jane it's me let me in." he said knocking gently. The door cracked open and Ron slipped through and as it closed again Percy felt himself deflate upset that his brother could give Jane something he himself couldn't. upset that Jane hated him so much upset that nothing he could do or say would make her happy. He knew Jane didn't see him the way he saw her but that didn't mean he didn't want to see her smile any chance she could and it seemed Jane didn't get many of those chances.
