German 101

With morning came the sun, rising to shine its grace upon the land. To break the shadows and push back the darkness. To seep through the blinds, to kiss the floor with rays of light. To stir those from the dream lands and rise them to a new day. Though not all wished to rise from their dreams. A woman stired within her bed, curled within the warmth that her covers offered. She ducked her head under her pillow and moaned at the intrusion of the morning's light.

"Uugh." A moan escaped from beneath the ivory colored pillow, "And I was having such a good dream." The woman hidden, whimpered.

Gray orbs peeked out from the darkness beneath the feathered pillow, nerrowing in annoyance at the brightness that her room was in. She sighed and grudgingly pulled herself from the sancturary of her bed. Feet dangled from her bed side as she stretched her arms high above her head, moaning in the release of tighten muscles. She sighed and dropped her arms to her side before hopping off her bed. Such in good spirits was she that as she moved to her dresser to change into something, a soft melody escaped from between her lips in a gentle hum.

"Laalalaalalaa, laa..mmhmmhmmmm.." Her voice was soft, gentle as she pulled a long sleeved dark green shirt over her head.

Memories of the night before played in her mind as she slipped her legs into her jeans, and pulled them over her hips. She smiled warmly to the images that pushed to be seen by her mind's eye, and her humming grew more cheerful with the thoughts of that kiss which was her first. She squeeled in delight, hopping once in a blissful glee and laughing to herself as she went for the door of her bedroom. Slender fingers gripped the handle and turned the nob, she pulled back, opening the portal into the hall. A smile, large and blissful met an unexspected barcade blocking her path out of her room.

"Kurt!?" She exclaimed in delight.

The man greets her with a shy and timid smile, a blush peeking through his azure cheeks. He shuffled on his feet, favoring his weight to one side as he nerviously rubed the back of his neck.

"Guten morgen Libeling," He greeted, dropping his hand to his side. "Uuh, how did you sleep?"

Deirdre smiled, "I slept well. Thanks." She told him taking a step out of her room and pushing Kurt back as she closed the door behind her. She looked up at the man, a smile still framed against her features. "How are you feeling?" She asked him, hinting to her awareness of his nerviousness. She wanted to chuckle lightly at his fidgiting, finding it cute that even after their first kiss he was still uneasy around her.

"I'm good, happy."

Deirdre giggled and sliped her arm around his, "Good I'm glad." She beamed up at him, "I'm happy too." She took a step forward, leading the two of them into a walk down the sleeping quarter hallways. "So," she began looking up at Kurt in curiosity. "What brings you to my door this fine morning?"

Kurt chuckled lightly at her wording and smiled down at her, "I vas curios."

"About?"

"Vhat your plans were for today."

"Hoow coome?" She asked dragging the words and leaning a litte into him, gaze looking up at him in a cute puppy dog way.

Kurt blushed and then chuckled at her, "Do you still need help vith your German?" He asked smiling.

Deirdre smiled, "Yep." She tells him pulling out of his arms and walking a little a head of him. "I haven't been studying recently," She looked behind her at him with a smirk. "I've been destracted."

Kurt chuckled and came to walk beside her, "I thought that maybe I could help you with it today...if you vant."

Deirdre smiled up at him, "I always want you to help." She turned on her toes and begun to walk backwards, hands behind her back. "I would like to be able to talk to you in German, share something with you that would bring us...closer."

Kurt smiled down at her, "Just being vith you Liebeling, brings us closer."

Deirdre giggled lightly and turned to face the direction she had been walking. "If we're not careful, we might turn into Jean and Scott." She eyed Kurt and smirked, "I think lovey-dovey is contagious."

"Ich bin heiss," her voice escaped, followed soon after by a soft chuckle from her partner sitting beside her on a bench. She blinked and stareed at him with a cocked brow, "What?"

Kurt chuckled and shook his head, "You just said you were feeling sexy." He explained.

Deirdre blushed, but then rebuffed by crossing her arms and sticking her tongue out at him. "Well, I am feeling sexy, cause I am sexy." She told him sticking her tongue out in response.

Kurt froze up, his face flushed.

Deirdre nerrowed her eyes at him, "You better think your girlfriend is sexy, or she wont kiss you anymore."

Kurt rubed the back of his neck, his azure tone turning a purplish hue. "Du bist sehr schon..." He spoke lifting his hand to cup her cheek. "You are very beautiful." He translate getting a blush from Deirdre. He smiled and leaned forward, hand still cupping her cheek as he kissed her gently on the lips. "Du bist sehr schon," he repeats.

Deirdre smiles lightly back, "Du bist-"

"Is this what you two do now that the two of you are a thing?" A cajun voice spoke up from behind Kurt.

Deirdre peered over Kurt's shoulder and Kurt turned to glance at Gambit standing inbetween Rogue and Warren, or as most of the X-Men liked to call him, Angel or Archangel.

Gambit smirked, "I never would have taken you as a lovey-dovey type of person Deir."

Deirdre rolled her eyes, "Yeah. And I never would have taken you for one either." She stuck her tongue at him and pulled away from Kurt. She stood, soon followed by her partner. The two faced the three who had joined them.

Kurt looked to Archangel, "Warren."

Warren nods, "Kurt." He then smiles, "I've been woundering where you've been, you've missed two of our advetures."

Kurt smiled and scratched his head, "I've been distracted."

Warren laughed, "I noticed. When did this happen?" He asked waving his hands between Deirdre and Kurt.

Deirdre smiled and takes a step closer to the three, "About three weeks ago." She tells the Angel. She then turns her glance to Gambit and Rogue. "So what can we do for ya?" She asks them crossing her arms and leaning back on her feet.

Kurt came to stand beside her.

Gambit smirks, "Well Warren here was searching for Kurt, and we got to asking why, and well."

Rogue rolls her eyes and spoke up, "They want us to play pirates with them."

Deirdre laughed, "What?" She turned to Kurt, "Do you play pirates with Warren?"

Kurt laughed and rubed the back of his neck, his tail swaying smug like behind him. "Occasionaly."

Deirdre chuckled and turned to smirk at Warren and then Rogue and Gambit. "Alright." She began, "I've decided." She turned and winked at Kurt, "Gehen wir ins Bett!"

Kurt blushed, and looked shyly away.

"What?" She asked reading him.

Kurt swallowed hard and chuckled lightly, he then leans forward to whisper into Deirdre's ear, explaining to her what she just said.

She blushed at his explaination and then laughed. "Oh, opps." She chuckled hard, "well atleast you were the only one that understood." She eyed Warren, "unless Angel here knows German."

Warren kept quiet but Gambit spoke up, curious about what was just translated.

"What?" He asked, woundering what Deirdre had misspoken.

Deirdre shook her head and took a step forward, pushing Gambit toward the institure. "Don't worry about, lets just go."
