Caroline bit at her bottom lip at the feeling of Damon's arms around her waist. She could practically hear the grin in his voice when he whispered "now what?" in her ear. She moved into him, her head resting against the side of his as his lips grazed the side of her neck. His touch sent fireworks within her, she didn't know what it was about his touch lately, but Caroline never wanted it to stop. Her chest heaving, Caroline's eyes shut closed as she dwelled in the feeling a bit more. He laughed when her body melted into his embrace. He then groaned when her elbow swung hard at his stomach causing him to stumble backwards. Caroline grinned before turning around to face the man that held his stomach, his eyes rolling at the sight of her grinning hugely at him.
"Don't ever let the enemy distract you," Caroline sang out, "Alex used to say that to me all the time."
Damon rolled his eyes at the blonde man's name escape the woman's mouth. "I still question why you're best friends with the guy."
Caroline giggled, "that's funny, he says the same thing about you. 'Caroline, why are you with him again?'" She yelped and then giggled when Damon vampire sped towards her, his form taking hold of hers, "It's because you love me," Damon stated, chuckling himself when the blonde giggled again. She gasped when he picked her up before rushing towards the cabin.
Caroline's brows arched when she was thrown on the bed, Damon hovering over her. Her hands played through his hair causing her stomach to flutter. "I thought we're supposed to be training until 12 a.m.?"
"I'm getting kind of tired, aren't you?" Damon asked, teasingly as he kissed the side of Caroline's face causing her mouth to gape open for breath. The tingles—all the places he kissed her, touched her, caused her stomach to flutter, her blood to boil and rush to every part he was caressing. "Yes," she moaned, "w-we should sleep then." She giggled when Damon groaned, "I'm pretty sure we can do a lot of things other than sleep."
Caroline licked at her lips as Damon peeled off his shirt before finally coming down and pressing his lips on hers. Caroline gasped against his lips at the sudden spring of emotion that cascaded her at that moment. It got more and more electrifying and exhilarating when he simply kissed her harder and faster.
She was moaning loudly and constantly when there was nothing but skin left for the two to explore.

The pounding in her head was just so much. Her skull throbbing when it felt as if her brain was smacking hard against it, her mind was aching.
Her head move from side to side on the pillow, the screams wanting their best to come out and yet they didn't. Caroline could feel Rosetta getting closer and closer and closer with every memory that cascaded within her mind. She wanted to scream, she wanted to scream for Damon to help.
Flashes.
More and more flashed.
"I love you Klaus."
"I love you Rosetta."
Flashes.
Tears were streaming out of her eyes, her bottom lip quivering.
She could feel his hands trail at her bare arm. Shivering slightly, a small grin started to form at her face before she allowed herself to flush further against him.
"How long do we have to hide like this Niklaus?"
She watched as the man grinned at her softly, sighing, Caroline let her hand play through his long blonde locks. She smiled when he seemed to sigh at her action, his head moving in towards her every time her hands touched at his bare flesh that hovered above her.
"Just a little while longer Rosetta," he replied, rubbing at her forearm again in reassurance.
Smiling, Caroline placed her hands at the back of his neck before pulling him closer towards her. Her breath hitched when his lips seemed to gently press against hers and butterflies erupted at her stomach. She could feel his hands finding their way under her long and plain dress and Caroline sighed against his mouth when he seemed to whisper down at her.
"I love you Rosetta," he whispered down at her.
Nodding, Caroline pressed her lips against his again before whispering back at him, "I love you too."
Caroline wanted to move her hands but they were cold and frozen. Rosetta was at the foot of the bed at this point, nearing her with every memory.
She was thirsty.
There was a tangy taste to her mouth, her lips and throat dry as her eyes shot open. She heaved for air and jumped a bit from the man's hold on her lying form. Brows furrowing when she heard soft words of reassurance from the man that hovered over her, her eyes widened, "Niklaus?"
She was incredibly confused when he put his finger at her mouth, "It's okay, everything is going to be okay."
"Niklaus what happened? I-I feel thirsty…THE SPELL, WHAT HAPPENED WITH THE SPELL?!"
He was crying as he caressed her cheek lightly. "I love you," he started his tears wetting his skin, "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry."
"Wha—"
There was an unbearable pain at her chest, the center burning.
She gasped and then whimpered as the stake went further through her heart.
Caroline finally let out a scream, her head arching against the pillow underneath her as she went unconscious.
Damon got up on the bed, his eyes worried and shocked from the sudden scream that had escaped the blonde. About to touch her face, Damon watched as she shot up on the bed before he could. "Niklaus!" she screamed, her chest heaving for breath as her eyes wandered around the unfamiliar house.
"Caroline?"
Caroline's head shot to the side to come face to face with a concerned Damon. Her eyes widened at the sight of him. They widened further at the feeling of having nothing on below the covers. She jumped out of the bed, her vampire speed surprising her as she froze next to the dresser, confused about the dark haired man and the sudden speed she possessed. "Who are you?!"
Damon's eyes widened at that. He used his speed to quickly put his boxers on before standing in front of the blonde woman that wrapped herself in the blanket she pulled from the bed. She bumped hard into the dresser when Damon suddenly appeared before her. "Wha—whoever you are, what you've done with me will not go unpunished. Niklaus—"
"Rosetta?" Damon asked, his voice cracking, his eyes narrowing. No, no, this was not happening, Damon thought to himself, his body tensing.
Rosetta was terrified at the unknown man before her. "W-What…how do you know my name?" she asked, her voice shaking as her eyes welled up with tears. The last thing she remembered was her Niklaus puncturing a stake through her heart. Why did I wake up with this man?
"No, no, NO!" Damon started, his eyes widening, "Caroline, no, you were just here with me, remember Care, CAROLINE NO!" Damon reached for Rosetta's arms; his confusion simply grew when she yelped in agony before shoving away from him.
She was crying now, Damon's eyes were watering as well. "Why did that hurt?! WHO ARE YOU!"
"Caroline, n-no…" Damon breathed out. She was just here with me, no this isn't possible—me being around her was supposed to protect her! My touch protected her!
"What…who's C-Caroline?" Rosetta spoke, her cheeks drenched with tears. She was still trying to process exactly had had happened. She felt pain from his touch.
"Rosetta," Damon began his anger and desperation getting the best of him now, "you've got to leave. Leave Caroline's body! She isn't some obstacle for you to possess, you and Klaus can't keep getting in the way of—"
"P-Please stop yelling!" Rosetta yelled over Damon's angered voice. She was so confused and the agonizing headache and aching body wasn't helping. Who is this man? Where am I? All were questions that went through Rosetta's mind.
"I will when you leave Caroline alone," Damon yelled finally only to roughly grab one of Rosetta's arms again, slightly confused once again when she screamed in agony and tried to move away from him. He watched as she flinched away from him and then disappeared from sight. His eyes widened at the sight of the open bedroom door. He heard the front door to the Cabin slam and his jaw clenched hard, his anger skyrocketing as he vampire sped his way after the blonde.
Rosetta is crying while running through the woods. She's confused when there are moments she's going faster than expected, things around her slow. Then she bumps into a tree and starts to run at average speed again. Whatever it was, Rosetta couldn't control this power. The memory of Niklaus killing her replaying in her mind only making her even angrier and confused, her hot tears were proof of her muddled form.
"H-He killed me?" she breathed out to herself as she continued to run on the small twigs and mud. She barely winced at the feeling of some pock at the bottom of her feet. She barely flinched.
"Caroline!"
Rosetta flinched. Terrified, Rosetta simply ran faster. Who was this man and why was he after her?
She continued to run faster and faster, she jumped again when she heard him holler again, "ROSETTA!"
The voice was so close.
Rosetta yelped when she bumped into a hard surface. Assuming it was a tree at first, Rosetta looked over at it only to back away in fear as she was face to face with the dark haired man again. "WHO ARE YOU? WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?"
"Rosetta I need you to leave," Damon said sternly, taking a step into the woman. His jaw clenched when she stepped back. "That's what I was trying to do! Why are you stopping me then?!" she screamed, tears still rolling out from her eyes. Damon's eyes narrowed at the woman. Did she really have no clue what she was doing in Caroline's body?
He groaned in frustration when she tried to run past him again. His brows furrowed hard when she screamed in agony again when he seemed to grab her. He let go of her and watched her crying form. Licking at his lips quickly, he looked over at the women that stood in nothing but a blanket. "When I touch you does it hurt?" he asked, curiously.
Instead of answering his question, Rosetta tried to run away again only to whimper when Damon simply held her again. She screamed and screamed, but Damon never let her go. His body was tense as she tried her hardest to move away from her. She pushed and yelled until weakened.
Damon watched her eyes roll to the back of her eyes as she began to fall. Damon caught her before she could fall to the dirty ground before picking her up in nothing but his boxers.
He walked towards the Cabin silently. His ears distracted by the sounds of the twigs snap under his feet.
Damon had left Stefan 6 messages already; he had called him 14 times. Trying not to punch in the wall, Damon called again, the call went straight to voice mail once again, "Screw you Stefan," Damon stated before ending the call. His eyes looked over at the sky that was still dark.
There was a sound that erupted from the bedroom, opening the door to the bedroom, Damon made his way towards the bed where he say Rosetta had ripped through the rope he had tied her hands with. She moved her aching hands away from the headboard where they previously were before quickly looking over at him. She was terrified when her eyes met him. Fully clothed now, Damon sighed before moving locking the door behind him and making his way to the bed. He knew a simple lock wouldn't stop a vampire, but it would somewhat slow Rosetta down if she were to try escaping again. He had already locked the windows when he had put Rosetta on the bed earlier.
"Don't you dare lay a hand on me," Rosetta snarled, "I don't know who you are or what you want from me, but I demand you to let me—"
"Shut up," Damon mumbled before opening the door to the bathroom that was right across from the woman sitting on the bed.
He looked over at the woman whose eyes were slightly narrowed. He rolled his eyes, "it means be quiet," he stated as the woman simply became even more confused and afraid.
"I need you to come to here," Damon said, stepping into the bathroom. He watched as the woman didn't move, her eyes widening at him. Damon sighed before pointing at the spot where he wanted her to stand. He watched her shake her head. "I need you to let me go," she stated. "I can't do that," Damon muttered out. "Why not?" she asked, she was clearly fed up and too lost to care about crying in front of the unknown man.
"Come here and you'll get all the answers to your questions," Damon said, pointing at the same spot he did before crossing his hands over his chest.
Rosetta's eyes met the man's hands. He was wearing black shiny gloves. Swallowing hard, Rosetta slowly got up from the bed, the same blanket around her from before; she held it tightly as she walked towards the open door. She stood before it; she stood where he told her to stand. She watched as he brought his hand out a little too quickly causing her to flinch back. She relaxed a bit when he simply held his hand out; he wasn't trying to touch her. "No," she said softly, "it hurts."
"With the gloves it won't," Damon said slowly, shaking his fingers hastily. He honestly didn't know if the glove would work as a shield from whatever his touch did to her. It's worth a shot, he thought lazily before shaking his fingers again.
"Why didn't you let go before?" she asked, her voice cracking slightly as she tried to blink away her tears from her eyes.
Damon licked at his bottom lip, "I couldn't let you run away."
Rosetta said nothing. She could see he was getting impatient by the way he leaned from one leg to the other. Hesitantly bringing her hand into his, she let out a breath when it didn't hurt her. She missed the equally surprised look on Damon's face before he hid it and moved further into the unknown room.
Rosetta was utterly confused at what she saw in this room. There were appliances she didn't recognize. Where am I? She flinched when she felt gloved hands grab at her upper arms. Her chest was heaving as she heard a reassuring "shhhh" from the unknown man that now stood behind her. He turned her around to make her face a reflective glass—a mirror. Her eyes widened at the sight of her. She wasn't staring at herself. This wasn't her. "W-Who…" she trailed off, too shocked and extremely confused at this point.
"That's my girlfriend," the man said from behind her, "and you've taken over her body—a vessel."
Rosetta's brows furrowed, "Wha—"
"You died a very long time ago Rosetta," Damon said cutting the woman off, "I very fucking long time ago, it's 2014 for fucks sake."
Rosetta's eyebrows knitted at the man's speech. She didn't understand it. "2014?"
"The year Rosetta, the year," he rushed. "It's been centuries."
"What?"
"Yes, you're possessing my girlfriend and I want her back, so if you could please just leave—"
"H-How'd this happen? I-I died…? What?" Rosetta asked. This man hadn't helped her at all with her questions. Her questions were simply expanding at this point.
"Klaus—"
"Niklaus?" Rosetta asked, her eyes widening when the memories flooded back. Niklaus killed me, she thought to herself.
"Yeah, Niklaus," Damon muttered, his brows furrowing slightly.
"He killed me."
Damon said nothing. "Yeah well, in order to bring you back, he put a spell on my girlfriend in ways to bring you back. At first it didn't work, but apparently it did."
"I didn't want this," Rosetta said her eyes filling with tears again. She couldn't leave her reflection. The woman that she stared at was beautiful. By the way the unknown man said "girlfriend" Rosetta made an assumption that he was probably in a relationship with her somehow. "Are you her husband?" she asked, remembering that she had woken up with nothing on, assuming they had made love before she came to ruin the conversation after.
Damon's brows arched. "Uh, no," he said slowly, "I'm her boyfriend."
Her brows furrowed. Deciding to leave the thought alone, she looked back at herself. "What's her name?"
Damon's teeth clamped together, "Caroline."
Rosetta smiled slightly, a tear falling onto her cheek. Damon moved away from the woman before going towards the exit of the bathroom once again. "Get yourself cleaned up," he mumbled.
She ripped herself away from the reflection before grabbing the man's bare arm. She flinched away again before moving away from him slightly. He looked over at her, his lips pursed. "What," he urged, wanting to know why she had stopped him. "How…" she trailed off not knowing exactly how to phrase her question without sounding like a lost time traveler.
Damon rolled her eyes before walking over to the shower. He was quick when pointing every part of the bathroom. "This is a shower," he said, turning the water on, he barely looked over at the woman that was dazed by the water, "it gives us clean water to bathe ourselves with." He reaches into the shower, "that's shampoo, that's conditioner, for the hair. That's soap over there, to scrub…um, that's the toilet. You know what you'd use the ground for in your days? Yeah, that's where you do that and—" Damon moved over to the sink in front of the mirror, "And clean water," he muttered when the fluid flowed down the drain.
"Wha…"
"I'll get you clothes," he mumbled before moving towards the dresser. He brought whatever he could before returning to the bathroom, where the blonde looked at the running water dazed. He gave her the clothes and watched as her eyes widened further. His jaw flexed, "Fashion's changed—women wear bras now."
"Huh?"
Damon turned around from the flabbergasted blonde before walking towards the exit of the bedroom door.
"Wait!"
Damon groaned in frustration before turning around, "What?!"
"Wh—What's your name?" She asked softly.
"It doesn't concern you," Damon snapped before opening the bedroom door.
"Where are you going?" she chimed again.
Damon bit the insides of his cheeks from bursting at the woman. His head was throbbing.
He turned around. "I'm getting you something to quench your thirst."
"How'd you—"
"You're a vampire, well my girlfriend is, so I know you're thirsty and won't be able to control it when a human comes through the door," Damon stated, his hand on the door knob. "I'm leaving to get you a blood bag."
"What?!"
Damon turned to leave again but froze before looking back at the wide eyed blonde. "Don't you dare try and escape," he started, his was voice low and rude, "it's the least you can do…since you've already ruined our lives."
Rosetta's eyes softened. "I—"
He left.
She sighed.
"I can't!" Bonnie screamed, blood dripping into her mouth as she spoke.
"Try harder!" the man yelled, shoving Bonnie closer to the table causing her to growl over at him. She wiped at her nose before looking over at the books before her.
"That's all I've been doing!" she yelled, "I've been trying for months now! LET IT GO KLAUS!"
Klaus grinned up at the defeated brunette. This was almost a daily routine between the two every day now. Sitting down on the couch in the living room, his eyes wandered around the house they had been staying in for months now, "I won't give up on this, just as much as I won't let you go either."
Bonnie's jaw clenched, before she wiped at her nose again. "Screw you," Bonnie snapped before throwing the books onto the floor and walking out of the open room. She headed for the stairs.
"Love you too Bon Bon," he sang out, picking the books up from the floor.
Anger, anger filled the pit of her stomach at the sound of smugness and calmness raging off the voice of the evil man. "I hope someone stakes you in your sleep tonight!" Bonnie forcefully sang out happily before slamming the door shut behind her.
Bonnie's jaw clenched as she walked into her room. She could practically here two hybrids by her door. They were listening to her every move in the room. "Security" Klaus called it, just in case she were to jump out of the window and try to escape. Klaus would always say, "they've snap your neck before you ever reached the window." Bonnie would snort angrily every time. She wasn't scared of Klaus. She wasn't scared of any of his hybrids either. She was simply waiting for the day she finally did escape and return back to her friends and family.
The only thing she was afraid of was what Klaus was planning next. There was something brewing in his twisted mind and she knew he needed her for it.
One question: What was it?
